Half of my house lost power so I called PG&E. They came and inspected the meter and stated that it was our problem and a license electrician has to fix it. On the phone, he patiently walked us through a couple of possible root causes for our problem (accurately identifying one of them), and advised us that the breaker panel may not have been properly reset. I'd give a 10-star if I had the option to do so. I had an issue with power outlets in my garage and dining room, so I started a project in yelp to get quotes from multiple service providers. Julio reached out and the first thing he asked me was "Did you turn on the heater last night," which I did for the first time in more than a year. Julio then gave me step-by-step instructions over the phone and resolved the issue in a matter of 30 seconds, ALL WITHOUT CHARGING ME ANY FEES. Other service providers had the same background info, but they were trying to charge me anywhere between $70-$200 just to do the inspection, and any repair fees would come on top of it. You simply will not find the level of expertise, integrity and honesty Julio offers in any other vendor. I contacted Absolute Power for help with installing a ring camera because my junction box was a mess of wires, some of which had melted. Julio asked me to send some pictures to him for a quote. Within an hour he called me to let me know that I could save some money and he explained what I needed to do to fix the problem myself. He was very patient and answered all my questions. After Julio's advive, I took a look at the junction box the following day but unfortunately the problem was far worse than I was able to communicate over the phone, and due to the fore casted rain I needed a trained professional to come and take a look. In the midst of the horrible year of 2020, we experienced a heat wave in the Bay Area hitting record triple digit weather for multiple days. I purchased a portable AC unit that was too powerful for the breaker I had set for my small bedrooms. Once the power went off completely in both bedrooms, I was desperate for an electrician to come by and save me. It was a hot Sunday afternoon (104 or 105 degrees), and I called several local electricians I found via Yelp. No luck. Julio from Absolute Power was the only person who picked up and because he's such a honest businessman -- he tried to walk me through resetting my breaker (we found out later that it was just blown completely and probably from overuse with time) over the phone so that he could avoid charging me. Long story short, he had to come by to ultimately replace my breaker. He showed up about 30 minutes after we got off the phone. He was professional and educated me about all the reasons a breaker could trip and how to fix it before having to call in an electrician. His prices were reasonable and he worked efficiently -- he finished his work within 30 minutes. No complaints here.
