I called around looking for an exterminator. I was frantic and in need of someone ASAP. It was New Year's Day so most businesses were closed. I left messages looking to book someone immediately. Day 2 bright and early I reached out to Milton. I told him my issue and said he could come out next day. I was not interested in next day service since I had been calling around the day before. He heard the uneasiness in my voice and said it would be ok. He said if he had any cancellations he'd come out that day. Shortly after our initial phone call he called me back and said he could be there in a couple of hours. He was on time and got to work. I was a pesky client asking a million questions and he answered of all them, happily. He gave me some tips to keep my house safe from unwanted guest told me everything would be alright (Although I was pessimistic, bc I was freaking out.) Told us to give it a couple of weeks and everything should be back to normal. Well it's been a couple of weeks and honestly after just the first week there was no activity. I'm so blessed to have found Milton and Absolute Serenity based on all the positive reviews!! I have to say I knew after our first initial evaluation at my house I would be writing a 5 star review as well. My wife and I were watching TV and noticed a rat or mouse scurrying across the floor in another room. Of course we went into panic mode as we just bought our house and thought we had all loose ends tied up for rodent control. Clearly we didn't. Looking closer I noticed a few drippings in area rat (we would find out later it was) I searched the garage closer and found another area where there was a concentration of droppings. Having three small children and a Wife who's deathly afraid of rats I knew I needed a exterminator. After looking at local companies in Long Beach it seemed like Absolute Serenity was the number to call. The next morning I called and spoke to Milton about finding out about our problem and spoke about my wife's concerns. Although he was slammed that day with no availability he made sure to make my wife feel better and FIND TIME for me. After a quick inspection he noticed the areas of concern regarding the outside of the property that needed to be tightened up. As well as telling us it was rat, not mice droppings, we were seeing. The nerves my wife had about the rats were all but gone in about 20min of speaking to him. We immediately signed up for his one month rodent program of setting traps and monitoring activity. No need to get other bids; based on others reviews of getting other bids and his ability to focus on the customer service aspect I knew he was the guy. He also gave options and showed me where I tie up the issues and areas the rats could enter the property; either he could fix or I could. Loved that he didn't hide anything and never felt like he was trying to pull one over on me. I chose to have him secure the property. Even better I had to go out of town that weekend for work but he squeezed my house on his Saturday and completed all the work. Best service I've ever had! I just moved into my house when I realized I had some critters in the attic. I called Milton and he came out the same day to lay the traps. He also pointed out all the entry locations and what I can do to solve the problem (he provides this service and I'm definitely going to need it!). Not even an HOUR goes by and one of the traps goes off. Unnerved and scared of my attic, I call Milton in a panic. He graciously made time to come over and take a look within 30 minutes. Once again Milton showed what an honest businessman he is. I had a wasp nest right above my front door. I sprayed it with something I bought specifically for wasps and they seemed to die. I also knocked the nest off the area and tossed it out but over the next few days the wasps continued to fly around the area where the nest had been. Spraying them did nothing to convince them to go elsewhere and I thought I'd probably kill myself with the darn spray before I got rid of them so I called ASPC. I explained what had been going on to Milton and he explained that this was typical behavior for wasps and not to worry, they would stop coming back. So! For the second time Milton has solved my problem without coming to my house. Anyone else would come out and charge a fee to tell me what Milton was able to explain over the phone. read more

Milton at Absolute Serenity Pest Control is great! We have his quarterly services set up and he comes out to check the house and spray for bugs. We had some nasty spiders and a huge population of crickets when we first moved in. It's under control now. We also recently had our attic inspected and were told we have rats. This was news to me, as we had zero signs of rats, but then my dog started acting strange and I got it in my head that maybe we do have rats, so I called Milton. He came right out (within a few hours!), checked our whole house, looking for any spaces they could get in from the outside and even checked the attic and roof and gave us the all clear. My daughter had some weird scratching sounds awakening her every morning around 3:30 AM. She was recovering from surgery and did not have the ability to look for he cause herself. My backyard and garage have experienced rat and rodent issues for years now. For most nights, my dog would wake my family and I up with his barking bc of these rats. Milton is awesome!! Had a rat problem, I had lots of vegetation around my roof, but thought the critters were in my wall. He assessed the problem, looked for entry points and advised needed to cut back vegetation and set a bait trap. Also set up traps behind my stove. Caught one two days later. Long time ant issues inside and outside of the house. I called Milton and he said during the hot season the ants are the most active looking for food and water. He came by on our scheduled morning and sprayed down the house. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about his business. He said between 2-3 days the ants should be eliminated. Rats! Our neighbor behind us has three citrus trees growing next to the wall that separates our properties. In the evening I see tons of rats climbing in these trees and running along the wall, so when I saw one of these critters on our patio I was SURE they were inside our house as well.
