Our favorite for Indian cuisine. My husband's go to is their chicken tika masala, mine is the saag paneer. To get more veggies we add the aloo gobi. With rice and garlic naan we always leave happily sated. The staff are always friendly and they've added lights to their decor for the upcoming holidays. Go, you'll enjoy the food.

Been here few times but keeps getting worse. Also service very slow. Seems like one cook and one server run the whole place. Tandoori platter came burnt. Lamb was so tough and inedible. Disappointed.

We recently visited Himalayan Cafe in San Dimas and had a very enjoyable experience. The nicely decorated dining area offered a relaxing ambiance, making our evening perfect. The great service and attentive staff made our experience flawless. The food is so delicious! We highly recommend the Chicken Tikka, which was tender and perfectly spiced, and the Daal, which was rich and comforting. Don't skip the appetizers--the samosas and grilled tikka were fantastic! The variety is great, and everything we tried was excellent. (The only minor note is that the serving size could be a little more.) They offer lots of parking and the overall experience is a reasonable price. We had such a positive visit; we will definitely come back! Come try them--you won't regret it!

Had a Groupon deal from this place so we went there for an early dinner. Pretty decent Himalayan/Indian food. Had the lamb vindaloo, mixed grilled and Lamb Biryani. The vindaloo was good and a bit spicy. The mixed grilled is a bit dry and the biryani was a bit wet. All over it was decent. Our server was very tentative. The entire restaurant is decorated with Nepali native arts and statues.

Good food and best service Today is our first time here but we will definitely come back! Don't miss it!

I first discovered them during the pandemic and it was as delicious as I had remembered! Finally got to eat here in person and it was absolutely heaven! I love love loved the butter chicken, that curry sauce had a life it's own! The vegetable pokoras are so good with the 2 difference chutney dipping sauces!! And the lentil soup is a must for chilly evenings or days. Super hearty with a rich broth and delicious flavors. Will definitely be back to try more menu items!

What a delightful experience that was! The dining area is colorful and pleasant. The service is excellent. I am not too familiar with Indian/Himalayan food, so I had a lot of questions which our server patiently and graciously answered. The lunch specials are great deals. The naan (garlic naan and cheese naan) fid not disappoint!

I dont even know where to begin! As soon as i entered the restaurant, I was greeted with alot of beautiful decorations and statues along with music. As i sat down, the server lady was very kind, attentive and explained whats good on the menu. I wanted to try everything on the menu! But I settled with the Himalayan Grill, Himalayan Platter, Chicken Tika Massala and Naan Bread. Omg!! these foods were insanely delcious! Unfortunately I didnt get her name. Thank you for taking care of us.

I wanted to love this place, I really did. I thought the ambience was great with the flags, the statues and tapestry.... but upon walking in we were greeted by a really unenthused guy who was our host/server for the afternoon. I smiled and said, "Two!" and he silently arm pointed to the dining room. When we ordered I asked for Dal, Chicken Tandoori - "Oh I'm sorry, we don't have that." What. They have a whole Tandoori section on their menu. Okay. I told my husband to order first while I figured it out. My husband, "I'll have the strawberry lassi," - "I'm sorry, we don't have that." WHAT. He ended up ordering the Mango Lassi (which was apparently really good) and a lamb curry that came with saag paneer, dal, naan and rice. My husband said everything was delicious. I ended up with a bowl of dal (which was so hot it burned my mouth) and the Chicken Tikka - the flavor was great but the meat was so tough I stopped eating halfway through, my jaw was sore and I couldn't chew anymore. The biggest mistake was using the ladies room before I started eating - that bathroom was giving off serious public transit vibes and it ruined my appetite (not that I could've chewed much more of that meat anyway). I would say flavor-wise everything was spot-on. The server guy maybe needs a vacation and definitely please upgrade your bathroom.

My second time here--just as fantastic as the first time. I brought 5 family members here and we ordered mixed momo, samosa chaat, daal soup, garlic naan, chapati, salmon curry, chicken vindaloo, a sautéed cabbage dish (forgot the name but not the flavor!), and aloo gobi. We requested the dishes at medium spicy level which was perfect for our taste. The staff were very attentive and kind. We enjoyed shopping at the store inside afterwards, purchasing organic CAlifornia honey, gorgeous scarves, and a singing bowl. We'll be back! Each entree is enough for two people to share if you are ordering family style.

One of the best Indian restaurants ever!! The chow mein noodles were VERY flavorful!!! The chicken tikka masala was also delicious, just a little sweeter than usual but still super bomb! Also their mixed tandoori was amazing too!

What a great place. It hadn't even been on my radar before today but I had been craving my favorite Indian dish, goat curry. And theirs did not disappoint. The serving was just the right size because after I was full but not stuffed. And a lot of me wishes there had been some leftovers to take home because everything was excellent. It was spiced just right, had the right heat between medium and hot just like I asked for, and it paired really well with both the naan and basmati. For sure I'd order this one again. The service was pretty great too. They were right on the ball with refills, extra napkins, and even rice if I had wanted some. All in all, I think I found a gem tucked away from the main shopping and restaurant rows here. And I think I want to be coming back in the near future.

If you are craving rich flavorful and savory food, Indian Cuisine is the perfect answer. I was craving samosa and pakora. So, I orderd a delivery from Himalayan cafe. It was very convenient. I was pleased with the service and the packaging too. I orderd the following from the menu: -Himalayan Masala Tea. It was fragrant and rich. - Mix Vegetables Pakora Was very flavorful and savory fried chunk of vegetables. - Himalayan Mix Grill Combination of tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, kababs & shrimp, came with basmati rice. -Vegetable Samosa. The crispiness from outside and the spiced rich vegetable filling were perfectly delicious and mouthwatering. - Momos, the Indian dumpling was very rich in flavor. -Naan was fluffy and rich. - Gulab jamun was soft with subtle taste of cardamom and had perfect sweetness from the rose syrup. My family and I enjoyed our meal. We were intrigued by  complexity of spices and deliciousness

For my beverage I ordered a mango lasso. For my food, I ordered aloo gobi vegetable thali. It came with naan, lentil, and basmati rice. The entree was the aloo gobi which is potato cauliflower curry. He asked if I wanted mild for the spice level and I said yeah. It took around 10-15 minutes for my food to arrive. It was pretty mild, I should've asked for medium instead, I like when spicy food has a kick to it. The aloo gobi had a lot of sauce which I liked because in other recipes there doesn't seem to be a lot. The lentils were easy to chew and soft. My dad noticed that one fan wasn't on. He said it was hot and I didn't think so. I like the tapestry and banners up for decoration. There were at least 4 other tables filled. There was music playing but it stopped a few times. Then the music started up again after 5 or so minutes.

I think I had been here once before for takeout of something small, but never for their buffet. When we came in, it was frankly kind of hectic. I was warned over the phone when asking about the lunch buffet that they were hosting an event but were still open, meaning it would be crowded if we came in for lunch. It definitely was crowded, 70% of the restaurant was reserved for this party, leaving just a few tables near the buffet open. We had to wait a bit to be sat, which I don't think would've been typical on a normal day. We were offered to sit at an open table and just went to serve ourselves. The buffet was clean and looked hot, but several items were running low or completely out. They have some standard offerings like tikka masala, daal, and goat curry, as well as some more Himalayan-leaning dishes like the stir fried noodles. Now, some of these details might make it sound like a subpar experience for lunch. Even if it was, this buffet was only $14.99. That's essentially the price of a fast food meal anyways. Furthermore, whatever food we did have was very solid. Even having sat out for some time, it was evident that the food was seasoned and cooked very well. To me, many of their dishes tasted even better than some I've had à la carte at other restaurants. They also brought fresh baskets of garlic naan out during the meal. The staff working there even offered for us to help ourselves to the mango lassi that I believe was set up on the bar for the event that day. Even while busy, he was sure to help out restocking plates and refilling water when possible. For the price, I think this buffet is 100% worth the visit, and I'm sure it's even better on a normal day.

It was our first time here and it was exactly what I was craving, the chicken tikka masala was perfectly seasoned, not overly sweet, just balanced and flavorful. We were the first customers in, so everything tasted fresh. This Indian and Nepalese restaurant is known for authentic Himalayan flavors and fresh-to-order dishes. Popular items include momos (dumplings), garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and a variety of curries with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and spicy options. Anita made the experience even better. Her warm, welcoming energy truly stood out. She even let me try homemade lemon pickle with naan, which felt so personal and thoughtful. Thank you, Anita beautiful energy & smile!
