We were stuck on the highway in the middle of nowhere and they came to our rescue on a Sunday morning. Shoutout to our tow truck driver, Jeremy, for being an alright guy. Dropped us off at our B&B and was a great conversationalist. The tow was great. The repair at their shop, not so much. They replaced the thermostat and water pump. By the time we reached Moab, Utah, the coolant was boiling again. Ultimately, it appears that the issue was the radiator cooling fan. Misdiagnosed. Five stars for the tow and one for the repair. read more

AC has towed my cars a few times and a few times to Albuquerque or Santa Fe. The cost is fair and the people easy to deal with. The wreckers are flat beds, the operators are courteous and competent. read more

Terrible non-service. The driver texted me that the location I gave him was somewhere in the middle of Colorado, when I gave an exact address with a mile marker on a major HWY in New Mexico. The next phone call was that the driver went back to the shop because he felt "unsafe" coming to my rescue. Obviously he did not want to make that service call and just plain lied about it. I even talked with the owner, until he too blew me off and put me at the mercy of his unsavory liar driver. "Unsafe", really? Am I going to piss off someone who is coming to my rescue? I was even going to tip him! The liar was my problem that day, however as he is fairly new with the company, in the long (or short) run he will be a problem for AC Towing. Ultimately, after 5 hours I had to get a different company and after they arrived, 5 minutes later I was in my car. No problem finding me! AC Towing does not even deserve my one star! read more

This review is long overdue. I was on my way out of Taos when I got stuck in the snow late one night in the middle of winter. Fortunately, a good Samaritan brought me back into town. I had my Grandmother's celebration of life to go to, so I didn't have the time to wait around until the following day for a tow. AC Towing stepped up and got me back on the road that night. They handled my vehicle with care and got it back to Taos safely. This business is genuinely customer service friendly from the sweet young lady who was on call to the Driver who picked me and my car up to the office personnel who assisted me with the insurance mumbo-jumbo. While riding on a long trip one of our group broke down on his bike about 20 miles out of town. We found Amos and he trailered the bike into town. Got 'HOG' to pay for it. Amos and Joshua are both experienced MECHANICS who know how to do things with their brains and hands. If you want to have your bike worked on by a 'Technician' while you shop for $45 t-shirts don't go here. Plus they are great human beings. They knew we were travelling and Amos dropped everything he was doing to get us back on the road to catch up with the others. Capable, Friendly great group of people. read more

AC came in response to my AAA request for a jump start. Carl was great, very easy to work with. Because it was the end of winter break, and ski season, they were slammed and his initial call, for a jump start, was not in a tow truck. Unfortunately for me the issue wasn't the battery but something larger. Carl came back the next morning and towed us to a mechanic, and made sure we got back to our place. read more

If you get an ethical driver AC gets five stars or more. If you get a rip-off driver, watch your wallet and expect to be asked to pay a hefty additional cash fee beyond your AAA membership. My last car haul was a pleasure. read more
