I joined literally last month and enrolled into auto payments. Today my payment was due and wasnt taken. I called to see what the problem was and I was charged and extra $10 because they didnt do their part and apparently I wasnt really enrolled into auto payment. You have to pay $10 extra to pay over the phone with a rep, $6 to pay with a robot, or wait 3 days to be approved for the option to pay online. Feels like a scam of a company and I will be looking elsewhere for car insurance. I shouldn't be charged extra because a company cannot do their job efficiently. read more

Time to update my review from 3 years ago. I hope they see this knowing I will be calling them to give them a earful. Apparently my policy expired but they of course don't sent you a email or call you. They put imma in collections for 46 f***** dollars. big lairs. if i had to pick again-IT WOULD NOT BE THIS COMPANY. they are dishonest with what they are doing with your policy and for your policy. i only made a payment and RECEIVE a receipt that reflected something totally different than what i was told as in THERE IS A BROKER FEE??? EVEN that i didn't and don't mind BUT i do in the sense of I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE wut i paid for-THAT PART! i called back THREE TIMES AFTER i made the payment WHY DID THEY KNOW WHO I WAS without name telling me they sent me an email that i neva received. Never before have I dealt with a company that tries their best to NOT take my money! They make you jump through hoops in order to make a simple payment over the phone; they want you to verify your name (EXACTLY as it appears on the card), policy #, phone #, DL #, etc. And don't leave the CS agent waiting while while you get the information, least you get hung up on. Then when you call back (after the phone rings 15 times), you get another rep who can't access your account because the rep who hung up on you locked it. Rep #2 promises to call you back, but of course never does. And then if you're one day late, they have the gall to immediately cancel your policy. read more

I've had infinity insurance with academy for over 3 years now and I've never had a problem, their customer service is efficient and genuine . Today I visited the office to process a registration and got assisted by Ashley, I wanted to save the headache on going to DMV and waiting in line so I decided to stop by here and get my tags . She was very efficient despite the fact that she took two payments on the side (which I didn't mind) it's their job to multitask something other people can mistake for lack of customer service but to each their own . I was greeted as soon as I walked in there was 4 people ahead of me, however within a matter of 7 minutes there was my turn and Within a matter of 10minutes I was already out of the office. If you want cheap insurance and sh#tty customer service you've come to the right place. There's always a now hiring sign outside yet they only have two people working and lots of people waiting. The so called customer service rep Ashley was nice-sty and repeated customers personal infomation out loud and across the room, a major CS no-no. Disappointed in their customer service, I went in to make a payment , while waiting they ask you to shout your phone number I guess to find you in their system. When it was finally my turn the lady was still taking calls and handling me and a customer call at the same time , which I find to be rude BTW I have several concerns and complaints about the lack of communication and professionalism 1. I went in to make a payment on 12/29/16 because they told my husband that's when our payment was due, and that it would be due on the 29th of each month. But come to find out today 1/28/17 when my husband went in to make a payment we were charged a $24 dollar late fee because our payment is actually due on the 15th of every month. I'm very upset with how they give incorrect information and really lack the experience. Once my policy bis over I will be going elsewhere. Also 2. I received a letter in the mail from academy insurance dated 12/09/16 telling me I had to bring in a copy of my drivers license by 12/14/16, but I didn't receive the letter until well after that date because they barely mailed it out on 12/19/16 that letter was pointless anyway becausebinhad went in on 12/08/16 to give a copy of my D.L so obviously someone didn't pay attention. Very disappointed in the service. Two agents only working to help with customers/clients. Slow and the customer service was very poor. After getting my quote over the phone I was told on price and one down payment only to arrive and get told something totally different. Then the agent that helped me didn't have time to provide me her undivided attention or assistance so she called another location to ask for help because they were closing and she needed help. So a representative gave me some half done info over the phone in which nothing besides my down payment was discussed...no.monthly amount...do agreement on the price of cost of insurance...no monthly due date. Nothing! I was very unhappy with my experience. Then two weeks go by and I received my first payment notice (bill) also stating a whole different amount then I was told the day I met and sign documents. Smdh...very dissatisfied. Very unprofessional and wish this company would hire more so that clients can experience one on one face to face customer service. My service in office should have been done in office and NOT OVER THE PHONE by another representative that had to help out due to lack of employment or time. read more
