Hidden Gem! If you're looking for meals on the healthy side come here. They're not easy to locate and I had no idea they even existed but I happened to have found them because of the Taste of Glendale event where they made tiny falafel tacos which were delicious. Look for the signs by the main building elevator to find them. They make a killer falafel wrap! And salads are tasty too. The burritos are excellent (shrimp and asada available) already pre-made with their own special salsas. Their breakfast bowls are decent as well. Also note, they make fresh smoothies and juices which you'll see firsthand once you're in the cafe. Keep an eye out for their vegan pastries (not on menu). Exit elevator and walk straight to enter the hallway. Halfway down the hallway Acai Grill is on your left. OKAY now for the actual review: not much seating inside, plays old school music videos, but drinks and food are decent. The superfood coffee is quite coconuty and a little thicker than what I'd like. I would stick with juices/smoothies here rather than the coffee but if they can improve their coffee... Also I wish they had more smoothie options. Sandwiches are not bad. This is an interesting spot in the basement of what looks like an office building. You need to take the elevator down and walk around and follow the signs to get to this spot which looks like it operates from an office cafeteria. I ordered through their website and it was easy and quick. Service was great and they had great covid protocol - separating the pick up from the food area. I had the Chef's Breakfast Burrito with spinach and it was pretty good. Ingredients were fresh - it was a little greasy - I think from the potatoes. But overall, I enjoyed it - I needed a little more spice but the flavors were good. This is the best damn açaí bowl I've ever eaten in my life. Like ...this stuff is legit. The texture of the açaí was not runny and thin like it is at most other places, it's perfectly smooth and soft and melts in your mouth. I've never had anything like it before; but if that's what açaí is supposed to taste like, then I've been missing out my whole life. It was so perfectly blended and textured that it reminded me almost of an açai ice cream. Not only that, but here you can even build your own bowl and choose whatever toppings you want (I got the berry bowl with extra granola, which they were extremely generous with). Not to mention the portion sizes are huge - I ordered the larger size, which was 10 ounces, but I more than could've got away with the smaller 7 ounce size. I see this becoming my regular spot, because the other places just don't compare. I've never tried any of the hot dishes, but they smelled delicious as they were cooking and I cannot wait to go back! I've passed signs for Acai Grill for a few weeks now and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered their chicken pesto panini, which came out to a whopping $15, with no sides. I was a bit skeptical to pay so much but reviews were good. Upon arrival, the cafe is located in the basement level of a near-empty office building. I will say, the second you go down the elevator, the smell is absolutely amazing. I think I will need to try their burgers next time purely based on how great it smelled down there. On that note, I took the sandwich to go back to my office. The sandwich was decently sized with great, chewy crisp bread and filled with a good portion of chicken. I definitely could've used more pesto, cheese, and sun dried tomato though as the chicken was pretty dry. But the flavors when I got the right bite were exceptionally good. If this came with chips or fries, I'd say it would be the best quick lunch in the area. However, it came with a side salad instead which was not good at all. It was heavily dressed in a vinaigrette that was abhorrently sweet and sour and inexplicably covered in shredded cheese. I literally spit out the first mouthful and threw away the rest. This would've been a four star review if the sandwich wasn't ruined by the salad. And a five star review if the sandwich was more balanced (and not $15)! Overall, I wouldn't mind giving Acai Grill another try but not too sure if it was the best first impression. read more

I was surprised by the amount of things on the menu. I ordered 3 steak tacos and an immunity shot. The immunity shot is not as bad as I expected. It included cayenne pepper which gave it some spice but the lemon juice helped cut it down. Over it always good. The steak tacos were pretty good as well. The meat was pretty good. I would have liked a little more seasoning. The avocado sauce gave it some flavor as well as spice. Not as good as some street tacos but because this is a place on the healthier side it makes sense.
