I was spending the week in Tucson and ate a ton of Acai while here and went to Orange County and ate a lot of Acai there. After a hot day at the AFB Airshow we needed a way to cool off with a refreshing treat. Açaí Paradise is just the right spot for not only açaí bowls but also for your smoothie needs. We loved the unique menu with many variations to satisfy different palates. Some of the items we had included the rainbow paradise one with an açaí base and the other with a dragon fruit base. The fruit was diced so nicely so that you can taste it in every spoonful. Our littles were huge fans of both and almost finished them (regular size but still shareable portions IMO). We also had a smoothie that had PB, coconut sherbet, banana and cinnamon. It was refreshing and for me it was perfect, one of our littles would've liked it sweeter but I think it was just the right balance so it doesn't leave you craving water afterwards. For one of the bowls we had a choice of mango or pineapple, I asked which fruit seemed to be ripe that day and the person handling the fruit reached out and gave us their suggestion which was great. Lastly, if you're DF this is the spot! So many options that do not include dairy (I believe they use coconut milk). Overall we would definitely come back to this spot and recommend you should too. A solid 3.5/5. This açaí bowl is situated in the same space as flaps and racks with open seating and has cute neon signs. There are two separate counters to order at for the two different restaurants. Happy hour is 3pm-5pm and you can snag $2 off your bowl! The bowls are fairly priced and is loaded with fruit and toppings. I will say, I do wish there was more açaí blend in the bowl because I finished it all with half my toppings left. It also wasn't blended all the way because there were some frozen chunks in the bowl. Either way, I'll be back to try their other bowls! read more

Their bowls are some of my favorite in town. The acai sorbet is the perfect sweetness and the fruit toppings are always tasty and fresh. Their sunshine bliss is my go to and a close second is the chocolate heaven. They've added a few new items like soups and mac and cheese to their menu but I've yet to try them because the bowls steal the show for me. This place is tucked inside of Flaps and Racks but don't be fooled... this gem deserves its own recognition. They have a nice happy hour deal (3 PM - 5 PM) and they do $2 off bowls. My family went there yesterday and I highly recommend it! We had lunch at Flaps and Racks, which is in the same location as Acai Paradise. I had the fish and chips, with the sweet potatoes French fries. My husband ordered the wings and were both very happy with our orders! The menu includes good options for kids so it is a good place to eat for a family with children. Acai Paradise is right next to Flaps and Racks, which makes it very convenient when you want to get lunch and then a want to order an acaí bowl or a smoothie. I had the pumpkin shake and it I loved it! We also ordered a Rainbow in Paradise, and it was loaded with fruit and toppings. It was very good and it was also a good price. What a great place in a restaurant-underserved part of Tucson!! This place is a combo venture with Flaps and Racks bar and restaurant, lending to a fun and unique atmosphere! The vibe is young and eclectic, and somewhat NYC-ish. This particular time I tried Açaí Paradise and let me tell you, this is worth the stop if you're on this side of town! I'm a smoothie/açaí bowl girl, and for YEARS I've been hoping for a place like this near the airport... Finally one had arrived! The options are great and varied, ingredients fresh and delicious, and the environment is a welcome respite from the oncoming summer heat!! Stopped by Acai Paradise shortly after it opened awhile ago. Now I've been multiple times both eating at site and bringing home. Very nice people and good explanations on the menu of what each name contains. My favorite that I haven't strayed from yet is the Rainbow In Paradise. You have the option of either pineapple or mango and I end up with pineapple more but either option is great. I highly recommend this place for your acai or fruity needs. read more

I ordered the Caribbean smoothie and wow, super fresh and refreshing. My friend ordered the Acai bowl and also said it was really good. It was so delicious that we came back for lunch and ordered wings and ribs. The lemon pepper, Korean BBQ sauce, green Chile are a must try. Very unique flavors for shakes. I recommend every person to try their pumpkin shake at least once;. Absolutely life changing. Just wish they had a better rewards program. Tried out this acai place on my work commute yesterday. It was fine. No line, location was convenient for me, etc. but 1) the menu is so high that if I were to stand and read it, I'm sure my neck would hurt. So I randomly chose a smoothie. Got two of them. Regular size was just fine. Every bite had toppings; I got almost a whole banana (which is great, if you like banana). Two complaints: I couldn't really taste the acai in the grand scheme of things. Also, something was salty in the bowl..maybe the kiwi? Maybe the granola had salt? Unsure but both bowls had the salty flavor. My sister liked it, but I didn't enjoy that part of it as I try to stay away from extra salt Summary: it's great to have another acai place in town, and I'm glad I finally tried it. I think the picture explains it all. Paid $10 dollars a bowl for açaí, in the photo you'll notice the lack there of. We called to let them know we didn't get what we paid for and the customer service repped argued stating that it's measured and "all stuck in the middle" and there's "nothing they can do about it." Definitely will not be a returning customer and will be spreading the word about the shrinking portions and lack of customer service. read more

This was our first time trying Acai Bowls and Acai Paradise definitely made this a great experience! We originally were there to get some wings and pork belly at Flaps & Racks, which shares the building with Acai Paradise. After our meal we wanted something sweet. We got the Romantic Daze Acai Bowl, which came with Acai sorbet, coconut oil, granola, banana, strawberry, cacao nibs, nutella and coconut flakes.
