Exceptional customer service, the girls that worked there were super friendly & personable. I ordered the São Paulo with cacao & peanut butter it was so tasty and all the fruit was fresh and delicious. They have promotions all the time & the store is clean & nice inside. Parking: There is plenty but it does share a lot with a grocery store & other businesses so it might get busy during peak times. Location: Same parking lot as Black Bear Diner. Açaí Republic is AMAZINGGGGGG!! Their açaí bowls are never a miss, always fantastic, and so are their smoothies. Their atmosphere is so friendly and cozy! But I really wanted to get into the service today. Last night, I went to go get a Hawaiian Açaí Bowl and I saw another costumer who fainted after ordering. My mom and her mom helped her up on a seat and she was alert. The worker, Thai (i believe thats how you spell it?) came in so calmly and had water prepared and gave her a little cup of honey to raise her sugar level. She absolutely deserved a shoutout because she helped the girl immediately and calmly. WILL FOREVER BE RETURNING! read more

I just dont get it. We order from this place at least once a week and every damn time, with the exception of maybe two times, you completely forget the empanadas or just toss something else in there. You dont let door dash or I know that we aren't getting them so we still get charged.... but I can clearly see them on the receit attached to the bag. It might seem small but its really starting to get old and frustrating when we are ordering a smoothie and an empanada or two for dinner and to constantly be shorted and left hungry searching for snacks we clearly didn't want. Not to mention not one number you have connects to a live person and just promises a txt that never gets sent. We are literally talking about hundreds of dollars in empanadas that are ordered and never received. Hoping each time will be different, only to be left hungry. Our whole house loves your smoothies and empanadas but its starting to be a serious waist of time and energy Even your contact us link on the official acai website won't let me submit this. So I figured here was the next best thing. read more

Came on a Friday at around 3pm. Place was DEAD. A one of the girls working there asked if I had cash because there system was down. Whatever I decided to use the app. Three middle school girls came in after I did. The girl asked the three middle school girls the same thing. She ALSO asks them what they would like so they can start making the order BEFORE me when I clearly came first. The middle school girl says "oh I don't even know if my payment will go through" lol She then asks me the same question and u was still thinking of what I wanted to order. I said I'm not sure yet and she has the audacity to chuckle. LOL I place my order WAY before the three middle school girls and then shortly after I notice HER order gets made FIRST WTF I go up to ask the two employees if they "started" on my order and their too busy texting LMAOOOO They don't even bother to notice I was trying to get their attention. 10 MINUTES LATER I HAVE TO GET HER ATTENTION AND SAY DID YOU GET MY ORDER SHE SAYS FOR SOME REASON IT WASNT PRINTING WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK LIKE I WAS F*CMONG THERE FOR 20 MINUTES DID A THOUGHT NEVER FOME TO YOU THAT I F*CKING ORDERED LOL sad to say the bowl was prepared in 2 MINUTES AND I PAID FOR A MEDIUM. THIS IS THE SIZE OF A MEDIUM HAHA FOR $11 Never coming back here again. Pathetic waste of my time read more

What a great way to end working out at the Fullerton Stairs. Head down to Acai Republic!!! Located in a strip mall with lots of parking. Very clean space. CUTE lounge area great for your social media feed. Outside seating is available. The staff members are very nice, patient with our orders... there's 5 of us, and very informative. I'm very selective with açaí bowls and I saw that this place opened up very recently and is also a chain across Southern California. I stopped by today, January 18, 2020, at approximately 11:50 AM and there was one party of three inside. As I made my way inside, I was greeted right away, which is always a huge plus especially for a new business. I went ahead and ordered their large, "The Real Brazilian" bowl. It was $9.95 and $10.72 with tax, which isn't too bad, but ANY ADDITIONAL toppings costs anywhere from $0.50 to $1.50 extra. As i'm waiting, a family of three comes in and a different person working there offers them a couple pastries while they wait. I wasn't offered any, but that's totally fine. The girl making my bowl took about 5 minutes and it was ready to go. I took it to go and took it home, which is only about 3 minutes away. I base my review on the price, quality of their açaí blend, freshness and quantity of fruits, quality and quantity of granola, and the overall service: -Their açaí blend is certainly not the best I've had. Actually, it may be the worst that I've ever had. I've had authentic Brazilian açaí bowls before and the consistency was icier, as your regular American açaí blends are much smoother. The blend at this spot was really smooth and overbearingly sweet. It was really watered down as well, along with an aftertaste that wasn't too pleasant. -I wasn't a fan of their granola. The pieces are really small and they were very soggy as well. I like a good crunch for my granola and this was very disappointing. Along with the pieces being really small, I had a small layer right on top of my açaí blend. -The one good thing were the bananas. They were freshly prepared and got a good amount as well. -The service was average. The girl was on the quiet side, as she just greeted me and took my order, but no complaints there. Overall, the bowl was quite underwhelming, mainly for their açaí blend and their granola. This place is quite new and would like to try it out again after some kinks, but that won't be any time soon. There are so many açaí bowl spots around and the competition is real. read more

Okay... this review may be just a personal preference than anything. I love my acai grainy and simple and this (even the most simple base) was kind of too smoothie like for me. I got the chia pudding with the sao paulo base. It was probably 50% acai and 50% chia pudding if that helps anyone. Unfortunately the toppings I generally like such as almond butter was $1.50 extra! I normally prefer dry toppings vs fruit toppings since acai is already a lot of fruit for me, but unfortunately everything else was extra $$. I would probably only recommend for people who love the fruity bowls. The fruit was abundant and pretty fresh. No issues there. Service was good (a bit slow). I probably won't be back unless they make a "nutty" bowl option that's less fruit based. read more

I was looking for a place to get a smoothie from after my walk at the stairs in Fullerton. Luckily, this place is right across the street. The lady who was working was very helpful and patient with us as it was out first time there. Even let us sample a few things to help us decide what we wanted to order. Everything we got was good. A nice healthy treat for a hot day and a workout cool down. The price wasn't as enjoyable as the acia bowls... two small bowls and two turmeric shots were about $23 dollars. They also have some small food items that I'd love to try on my next visit. They also have a few small tables and a comfortable lounge like area with a TV playing in case you want to hang out for a bit. Overall, I definitely recommend this place and will be back. read more

Acai Republic has Acai in the name, but many other items on their menu. I stopped by interested in the acai bowls, but plan to go back and try other food items. For their acai bowls, there are certain combos to select from, or the option to make your own and pay for each topping you want. I was most interested in having mango fruit on top, so I selected The Madly Mango in large size. The base blend had acai with other fruits, such as peach and passionfruit. It was flavorful and unique from other places. It came with granola, mango, pineapple, and coconut as toppings. These pair well with the base, a solid acai bowl with healthy toppings. I like to pretend that is a healthier alternative to ice cream with natural sugar instead of added sugar. I also picked up a small Mr Green juice and had them hold the agave. I expected that both apple and pineapple would provide sufficient sweetness, but without the agave it was a dilute flavor, a stereotypical green juice flavor. If I were to get it again I would go with a medium level of agave. The cucumber was a clearly identifiable taste, with the pineapple being the second most dominant flavor. read more

Bowls: The acai is mediocre not to mention that each topping is additional charge. They have set fruit that comes on the bowls but each topping such as peanut butter, almonds, cacao nibs is extra charge. The bowls don't start at a cheap price either, for two bowls (with NO added toppings) came out to $20 and some change. At this price you can go to any competitor acai place and toppings would be INCLUDED. The acai is sweet and not too thick of a base. (so depending on your preference) **On Tuesday's they have 3 free toppings included in your bowl so I recommend taking up that offer if you decide to try this place out.** Service: I've been to Acai Republic multiple times and each time is a hit or miss with customer service. Their team is either friendly or, most of the time, very bland and bored to be there. This time I visited Acai Republic I spoke to Yareth who was welcoming, extremely helpful, and energetic. read more

I recently discovered the health benefits of acai so I've been trying a new spot weekly. I found Acai Republic nearby so I wanted to check it out. The interior is small but they have a lounge area with a couch, bar seating and tables. There is plenty of seating outdoor if you wish to get some fresh air. They are located in the same plaza as Ralph's. Parking is pretty easy and there are designated pick up only spaces. I arrived in the early afternoon for my acai fix. It was quite empty with one other customer in the store. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered a medium Hawaiian acai bowl with chia pudding. The acai is blended with strawberry, pineapple and guarana. It's topped with banana, shredded coconut, granola and strawberries. I swapped the the strawberries for blueberry instead. I also added sliced almonds and a light drizzle of honey. The acai bowl was just ok. The blend was not as thick and creamy than what I like. It was on the sweet side. I also got the madly mango acai smoothie which is a blend of acai, mango, strawberry, passion fruit and guarana. I thought the smoothie was very tasty. I wasn't too thrilled with my acai bowl. I think everyone has a personal preference. I didn't like their version that much. I'm uncertain if there will be a return visit! read more

So everything to their choices are really good but their açaí is soooo crap compared to what I've had at TRU Bowl and zooks Kitchen theirs acai is pure 100% açaí no mixture with anything but cane sugar to give the base a bit of sweetness knowing açaí berries are bitter in pure form I recommend this place to anyone but if your a try acai enthusiast then this place is not great is damn near looks over quality there acai is melting quickly and that itself is very annoying, like all these great choices but you guys can't serve the people the best quality you can go ahead and charge more that means we get better quality im very disappointed in this supposed açaí place read more

Service should be a ZERO! Staff needs to be retrained to have good customer service. I tried using this coupon at the Fullerton store, and they would NOT allow it! At first, the cashier Fatima told me it only works if I order online even though it clearly states "Valid in-store". Anyways, I tried it online & it says, "Discount coupon not found". You would think the staff would try to assist me but no...Fatima was NOT helpful at all so I asked for her supervisor who she stated "she's not here & I can't give you the discount!" I left without ordering & very disappointed. I've been coming to your store for quite a few years now and never have I had such terrible customer service. With that kind of insensitive service, you just lost a good customer. read more
