Was in Anaheim looking to print some papers out for work and knew that libraries are the way to go. Went to a library on Euclid Street in Anaheim and asked for a guest pass. They wanted me to fill out a form, give them my identification to copy. It was too much hassle so I went to the Fullerton Library! What a breath of fresh air! This library was at least two times bigger and when I asked for a guest pass the librarian at the information desk passed me a piece of paper with a numberical code that lets me use the computers. I logged on, found the paperwork I needed, hit print and went to the printer dropped in some coins to get a copy. Easy and so fast. There was a lot of people in the library, a community board and cafe. I didn't order anything to eat or drink this time but will the next time I'm in town. The venue was clean, bright and great. We had to stop by this wonderful library because they got Snoopy theme library card. I love the bookstore they had. The librarians were so sweet they show me everything I need to know about the library they had food for the Mind. I've been meaning to visit the Fullerton Library Cafe for a while. I was impressed with their wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and Vietnamese cuisine selections. (This cafe even serves pho.) I had two fresh spring rolls (meat) ($3.99/each). These were indeed cooked fresh. The contents inside the spring rolls included pork, noodles, lettuce, and a thin fried egg roll. These made for fine and filling snacks. I asked for chopsticks and dipped the spring rolls in their sauce provided. It was a mix of sweet, tangy, and nutty flavors. The ambience was enjoyable and relaxing. I brought a newspaper from the library and read it while waiting for the spring rolls. Radio music played in the background, and sunlight shined through the windows. I will definitely come back again to support. Their diverse food is affordable, and I can find some relaxing time to read a book or the newspaper. read more

I love that this is here for visitors to the library. I wanted to grab something healthy and get lost in a good book for a few hours. The ambience is great. Nice comfy seats, quiet place to work or read. I ordered the green turmeric smoothie and the chia pudding. Lemme back up and say there are great prices for everything on the menu. That said, I loved my smoothie but the chia pudding is what brings my review score down. Anyone that knows chia pudding knows it's not a quick fix. The chia seeds are usually soaked hours in advance or overnight at the least to thicken the liquid and make it a pudding. That's not what happened here. I was given the cup, with the fruit and seeds mixed in with granola on top. This was more of a drink than a pudding. You can't make chia pudding on the spot and I should've known by the time the cashier was taking. I'd certainly come back for anything else tho. read more

If you want a peaceful lunch or snack after a day studying or perusing the library- this is the place. It's not fancy but the price point is well worth it. I'm so thankful that they have a whole selection for vegan meals and drinks. It really is a hidden gem. It makes me want to go study at the library just so I can have study breaks drinking smoothies and having a healthy lunch. You have to bus your used plates/cutlery but it's so worth it considering how wasteful single use plastics/disposable plates are. The lady who made our lunch was very sweet. I will definitely be back- this library is further than the one near me but due to this cafe, now Fullerton library may be my go to library. Also, I didn't check out the portion of the store selling hello kitty products but for folks who like trinkets and hello kitty products there may be some goodies you may like. read more

OK, hear me out. This is a legit hidden treasure like I was not expecting it to be this good and have that many vegan options. It's your typical library Café nothing fancy in it. You pick up your food most if it's already premade, you can just heat it up, but it's so yummy. It's also very affordable too for like what I would normally get at a restaurant I pay like $10 less here. read more

Outstanding! The food here is fresh and delicious. I am amazed at how big the menu is and yet every item is still prepared with care. The owner is incredibly kind and patient. She told me about how she created the broth for her vegan pho from scratch - absolutely incredible. And food is served on non-disposable plates - rare for a cafe but it really makes the experience more enjoyable and makes the cafe that much cozier. This is a lovely cafe for a snack or even a full meal. There are tons of vegan and vegetarian options and there's something here for everyone. Very highly recommended. read more

Hello everyone I've been DYING to tell everyone about this hidden gem I found! I'm always going to the library when I'm in town for my Orthodontic appointments because I have to pass time due to me always coming down from Lancaster on the train. So I was hungry and wanted to eat before heading in and I noticed they had a cafe and I was skeptical at first but when I walked in I was amazed to see so much stuff available. So many snacks and drinks and other stuff like pens and notebooks you know writing and study materials. There is also a very good variety of a menu for cooked foods and drinks. I was in the mood for a smoothie that day and so I came across the berry one and surprise surprise you can also create your own smoothie which I love that as an option. The lady is very nice and answered my questions about what comes in the smoothies due to me not trying to eat a lot of dairy she had dairy free options for Milk which I appreciated. I definitely will be coming here every chance I get. It's a great study place due to it being so calm and peaceful. For being connected to the library this place was clean Basic little coffee shop with coffee, juice, etc. A few baked goods and a cold case with bottled/canned stuff. Chips and cookies and stuff. Walked to the library with my son to check out some books. I had never been to the Library Cafe and thought I would give it a try especially since I hade a free cup of coffee coupon. My son wanted a strawberry smoothie. For $3.50 it was the worst smoothie he had ever had, it was basically strawberry syrup and ice. I don't think any real fruit was used he threw it away after a few sips I am not happy about throwing away money. And not sure how there are all 5 star reviews??
