We've gone to Fogo de Chao in the past, and my parents loved the salad bar there, and they were able to just pay for that. Green Field used to have an option for that too, but not anymore, I guess. I used to go here all the time, and it was great, but that was like 10 years ago. Reading the reviews, it seems like the customer service and quality has really declined. I've even brought a cake before to celebrate my wife's birthday, and I was shocked to read reviews that say they now charge $1 per slice to slice your own cake! How ridiculous and petty. Since Fogo de Chao is only a couple bucks more for the dinner, and they have a "salad bar only" price, it looks like we'll be going there.

As soon as I tasted the food, I was immediately sold. The rice, beans, and mushrooms were all cooked perfectly. Everything had great flavor and the right amount of salt. Their salads were so good, and they had an endless supply of delicious cheeses and olive oil. They also served one of my favorite coffee brands, Lavazza, which made me very happy. On top of that, they brought out some amazing appetizers, including fries, cheesy bread, and plantains. The only downside is that the restaurant does not allow you to take food to go. I was honestly bummed because this is one of those places where the food is so good that you want to take some home and enjoy it later. Still, I absolutely fell in love with this place and always try to visit whenever possible.

Ribs - The ribs were mostly plain, and I could barely taste the sauce that it had on the outside, but the meat was tender and came off the bone easily. Falnk Steak - i got it thinly sliced, and it was tender and nicely seasoned. It tasted good, although it did seem similar to some of the other cuts that were served Salad Bar: - The salad bar has a good variety of hot and cold items. I liked the potatoes and the lobster bisque. Sides: When you first start out, they give you some Sides at your table. French Fries - The fries were crispy, but a bit dry and they could use some more seasoning or flavor. I think they would be better with some sauce, but fries are fries! Mashed Potatoes - they were light, buttery, and paird well with all of the meats. Cheese Bread - THey were served fresh and had a nice texture. These were probably my favorite sides during the visit! Brazilian cheese bread was one of our favorites. Hubby's steak was a bit overcooked so the server sliced a few pieces of rare picanha for him to make it up. We liked the thoughtful gesture very much. The rare steak was exactly how hubby liked it and very delicious! We also had a bottle of sparking wine to go with our brunch food. We were impressed by this local steakhouse.
