After all that waiting and stress, she finally got in -- only to be dropped after missing a few appointments. What's most upsetting is that there was no clear warning. We continued receiving text messages saying we still had services, with no indication we were in danger of being discharged. There was no heads-up, no conversation, and no opportunity to fix the issue. One day, we simply received an email saying she had missed what they consider "too many" appointments -- and that was it. After months of waiting and advocating for my child, there was no flexibility, no grace, and no understanding. Just a final decision with no chance to appeal. For families already navigating so much, this kind of system feels punishing rather than supportive.

The staff are incredibly friendly and inviting to both the kiddos and the adults. It's so nice to have such great resources locally in HVL. Also, the indoor play space, The Grove, is such a welcome addition to the community. Our only hope is that they extend the hours to include some weekend hours.

My father was a patient there for about a month last July to August. We placed him on hospice and…read morehe was arranged to be moved to a home care facility for end-of-life care, we were not present for the transport. The company that was booked arrived in a commercial vehicle and they claim Park View refused to give them a wheelchair to transport him. At this point my father was barely speaking and experienced drops in blood pressure whenever not in a laying position. They did not call my mother to inform her that he was being transported in what I would describe as a medically unsafe manor. In my opinion they never should have allowed him to leave their facility in such a way. He arrived extremely disoriented and weak and fainted once he arrived at the new home care facility. I would hope no ones loved one would experience something similar.

It was my first time to this facility of Providence. Right from the time we parked, till entering…read morethe facility, interacting with the front desk and other team members, the vibe is of peace and calm. The staff is helpful, the place is spotless & generally gave a feeling of "all will be well" :) I know one seldom can get a feeling like that when at a hospital/health care facility with all the anxiety one maybe going through, but at times it's alright to feel positive, pick a book and relax while one waits for one's service provider. Also, there is ample parking available outside.
