I sat on a waitlist for months, constantly having to follow up just to find out when my daughter…read moremight finally get services. After all that waiting and stress, she finally got in -- only to be dropped after missing a few appointments. What's most upsetting is that there was no clear warning. We continued receiving text messages saying we still had services, with no indication we were in danger of being discharged. There was no heads-up, no conversation, and no opportunity to fix the issue. One day, we simply received an email saying she had missed what they consider "too many" appointments -- and that was it. After months of waiting and advocating for my child, there was no flexibility, no grace, and no understanding. Just a final decision with no chance to appeal. For families already navigating so much, this kind of system feels punishing rather than supportive.

The staff are incredibly friendly and inviting to both the kiddos and the adults. It's so nice to have such great resources locally in HVL. Also, the indoor play space, The Grove, is such a welcome addition to the community. Our only hope is that they extend the hours to include some weekend hours.

Santa Rosa Post Acute Skilled Nursing Facility was a wonderful surprise for Me. I didn't know what…read moreto expect, but my brother received tremendous care at the facility. Every staff member was kind and helpful. No matter who I asked a question of, If they didn't Know the answer, they would stop what they were doing and find someone to help me. Jim was at the facility for nearly 3 months, and I was able to visit him nearly every day. Never did I ever see anyone treat him with anything other than great care and compassion. On the morning that Jim transitioned, When I got the call to see him for the last time, His nurse was waiting for me in the lobby. She was in tears as we walked down to his room. I have never been around so many caring compassionate people in my life. Joe Graber

This place is still open? I gave 1 star only because there is no choice for 0 stars. Look closely…read moreat those comments with 5 stars. Those are planted comments and ratings. If you want your loved one to go here, make sure it is only because you do not like your loved one. One of the main nurses looks and acts like a gangsta. He actually tried to start a fight with me. The main Dr. is a little idiot with small man syndrome. This is my 2nd time writing a comment here. For some reason my 1st comment got removed. So, I repeat, look closely at the comments and ratings. They are managed from both directions to make this awful place seem not so bad. I think they write their own positive comments and get removed the worst comments and ratings. During my time there only one or two patients seemed to enjoy being there. I suspect those individuals personally paid staff extra money for special treatment. Who can miss the smell of rancid pee and poop? In my room the toilet riser thing had dried poo rings. I don't know, but maybe this kind of place is being normalized. That might explain why it has not been shut down with criminal charges brought against staff and management. Let me say this clear and plain. Only let someone go to this place if you hate that person, or maybe if the person you put in is a convicted felon. For those already there, Plan your escape. Call a cab. or better yet, plan a mass escape. Then have the cab take you to the California state offices on D street in Santa Rosa. Tell them you had to escape, and that for each of you there are like to be 2 to 4 in no condition to escape or are too doped to escape. See? Should have just left my original comment. I replaced it now with a comment encouraging others to escape. When I did, others wanted to escape with me. For them, hey guys, still thinking about your plights. I'm sorry I didn't plan it as a mass escape.
