I scheduled a plumbing service with Accent Plumbing after speaking with Jessica on June 2, 2026. She told me the earliest available appointment was June 7 between 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that I had a medical appointment at 3:00 p.m. and would not be available during that window. Jessica then offered June 8 between 1:00-3:00 p.m., which I accepted. On June 7, I unexpectedly received a text at 1:30 p.m. stating that technician Hyrum Hatch was on the way. I didn't see the text until about 1:50 p.m., so I immediately called Accent Plumbing. Jessica answered, and I reminded her that my appointment had been moved to June 8 between 1:00-3:00 p.m. She said she remembered our conversation and that I had been unavailable from 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that was exactly why we had rescheduled for the following day. She placed me on hold to contact the technician and then confirmed that we would keep the agreed-upon June 8 appointment between 1:00-3:00 p.m. On June 8, I waited until 2:45 p.m. without receiving any notification that the technician was on the way, so I called Accent Plumbing for an update. Jessica answered again and told me, in a dismissive tone, that the technician would not arrive until 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that I had another appointment from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and asked why no one had contacted me to let me know the appointment window had changed. Rather than addressing my concern, she simply repeated multiple times that the technician would arrive between 3:00-5:00 p.m. and eventually offered to reschedule me for Friday. I rescheduled for Friday between 1:00-3:00 p.m., but was then told that the technician still might not arrive until 3:00-5:00 p.m., making the scheduled appointment window essentially meaningless. At this point, it has taken over a week just to get someone scheduled to come to my home. Communication has been poor, appointment windows have not been honored, and I had to repeatedly call the company myself to find out what was happening. If you're scheduling with Accent Plumbing, plan on keeping your entire afternoon open because the appointment window does not appear to be reliable. I was also disappointed with the customer service I received from Jessica. I found her communication to be dismissive and unprofessional, especially when I was simply trying to understand why my scheduled appointment had changed without any notice. I informed Jessica that I would be leaving this review. I ended up going with a whole new plumbing company only based off of Jessica's extremely poor customer service. Update 06/13/2026: The owner, Steve, personally called me the following Tuesday regarding my review to apologize for how the situation was handled. Before reaching out, he took the time to listen to the phone calls between Jessica and me. He explained that the issue stemmed from a scheduling error on their end that was not properly communicated to me, which ultimately caused the entire situation. Steve also acknowledged that the calls were not handled appropriately and shared that he had addressed the matter with Jessica as a learning opportunity to help ensure a similar situation doesn't happen again in the future. He also asked if there was anything else he could do to assist me, which I genuinely appreciated. I wanted to update my review because Steve's willingness to personally investigate the issue, take accountability, and follow up with me speaks volumes about his character and leadership as the owner. While my initial experience was frustrating, I truly appreciate the way he handled the situation and his commitment to making things right. read more

We noticed a leak under our water heater today (it's only four years old!) - anyway, they came out right away to assess the issue, found us a warranty replacement and came back to install it same day. Our big-box Rheem water heater died on Friday (after only 8 years of light use), but by Monday, I had a brand spanking new Bradford White 50 gallon gas water heater up and running. Master plumber Kevin, and his able assistant John, did a meticulous job on the installation, which had its challenges: my home was built in '59, with the water heater squeezed into a tight alcove. I also have an ECOsmarte water descaler sharing the same tight quarters. But Kevin and John got it done. Also, shout-out to Steve Faller Jr for helping me get an extended 10 year warranty which even covers a cracked tank -- which 90% of the time is how these things fail. My 9 year warranty on the Rheem, in hindsight, was a complete joke -- fully covered only for the first 2 years and replaceable parts only for the next 7 years. read more

We were referred here by a good friend. Unfortunately they were supposed to be here at 1pm. Didnt call or show till 2:30pm. A call would have been nice, but there was nothing. I went and got pizza because we had been waiting for awhile and were hungry. Coming back I couldnt park in my own driveway or on the side of my house and asked them if they could just back up a little so i could park. The way the neighborhood is shaped I couldnt park anywhere else. The comment that one of the guys made was uncalled for. If its such a hassel that they dont wanna be there or do the job we could have gone through someone else. They were fast to tell us whats wrong and which parts to get so they could fix what we needed. We had to reschedule for them to come back because we didnt have everything they needed. They were very knowledgable about everything. Although they did an okay job, I cant recommed them and I dont think we would be using them again. They left us with a leaking shower that wasnt leaking before. We called and the guy sounded inconveniced that we had a drip. He asked us if we wanted him to cancel his other appointments to fix the drip. We said no because we didnt want to take away from someone else who was waiting. He said he would try to fit us in the morning around 8am but he had other appointments. The morning came but he didnt and neither did a call. Finally showed up at 4pm. 2 days wasted sitting and waiting around wondering when they were gonna come. Time managment seems to be very poor along with communication. They didnt spend a whole hour which we paid for the first time and you would think if their work wasnt right they would not have a problem coming back and fixing it or checking before they leave. A customer shouldnt have to make a choice whether they cancel someone elses appointment or not. Putting that on us wasnt right. They should allow enough time to get the work done or if something were to go wrong to fix it. Also if your gonna be 1 hour and 30 minutes over an appointment time at least call. read more

I've used A-Accent plumbing for 10 years. Mainly because they're in the neighborhood. This time they ended a chance I'd ever use them again. I have an upstairs shower that unexplainably started releasing sewer gas after 20 years of service. A-Accent hasn't found the reason for the odor coming from the shower drain after two visits, over a week apart, and then recommended a third visit to do a smoke test. One of the Jims there hung up on me because I told him I was a long time customer and wasn't f%#!happy with their service. Meanwhile, they have left an insoection hole cut in the ceiling for a couple of weeks. That's the plumber if you could recommend a contact for drywall repair, he couldn't. read more

I found A-accent through a referral to do a quick hot water tank issue. They called me right away, came over right away to evaluate my problem. They ended up installing a Mac Daddy tankless system for me which required running a new gas line, installing a condensation line, a much bigger project than any of us anticipated. They had at least 5 guys in and out working to get it done. They were all polite, professional, kept me informed of progress and issues as they came up. The owner also solved my water pressure problem without charging me and unclogged my garbage disposal. Our drains slowed. I attemped to remove the PVC trap under our sink and the old glavanized pipe behind crumbled into my hand. We have a home warranty, but they denied coverage since I was the one who "broke" the pipe. The company they sent out quoted me a price to fix the problem, which didn't include the repairs needed for paint, drywall and reinstalling a bathroom vanity. I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I called Accent and they came out same to day to assess and give me an estimate. The estimate was about 1/2 what the other vendor quoted. I gave them the job. The next morning, Jim was at my house and started work. He worked diligently the whole morning and completed the job in 2 hours less than estimated, which ended up saving me even more money. Additionally, he was able to do the work without having to cause and damage to the walls outside of the sink cabinets/vanities, so I have no additional repair work to do! I needed a new toilet at my retail shop. After seeing that the original toilet from 1952 would not stop leaking and my water bill got up to $78 (usually 15) I bought a new toilet. I called some guys on craigs list and then I called Accent plumbing who I used 4 years ago to install a new TOTO toilet in our home. They also replumbed all the old cast iron pipes to copper in my house back in 2001. I read the bad review but though what the heck...they always did me well so I will give them a call . So long story short they took out the old toilet and perfectly reseated the new Kohler toilet and the whole thing was done in less that 2 hours and they were right in line dollar wise with the quote a gotten from some guys on Craigs list.(who I was not sure about) I also learned that the two bad reviews they got were from an employee who is no longer there. So I waited 5 weeks since they did the install of the new toilet to write the review and all is well and perfect. The plumber who worked on my job was named Shannon.(Irish ) He is older and experienced. Called Accent because they were close to my house at 32nd St and Camelback. I had an issue that my main water line to sewer was blocked- causing back up into my 2 bathrooms. Plumber fixed the issue with 2 toilets not flowing and it was fixed short term. 1 day later the issue has reappeared- so primary issue was not fixed- I have attempted to call them back to see if they will honor the fact I paid them $360 and core issue not addressed ( primary clog in main line that was not properly fixed) Thus far they have not returned my calls. It is Christmas day and I am fully enjoying my family and this special day because Accent was willing to come back on Christmas Eve to get things all wrapped up. This is our second time using them. A slab leak occurred at the end of us updating our house.
