They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. I guess we're lucky because in the few years we've been here both our units have functioned great. Wasn't sure who to call, but we'd had a great experience with the plumbing side of Hansen, so we reached out. Scheduling was very easy. You can do so online, or a real person answers the phone. They offered to have someone out within a few hours! Our problem wasn't that urgent, but it's comforting to know. Benjamin was our technician, and he was great with communication. He diagnosed the problem (leaking fan motor) very quickly, and gave us options for repair. At no time was he pushy about anything, just factual. We were on the fence with repair vs replace, but decided the unit had enough life in it to repair. Ben also gave us figures on replacing with an eye towards the future. He wrote it all up even knowing that we weren't going to buy anything in the short term. This is really excellent customer service, and you can bet when we're ready we will remember. The repairs were done quickly, we got an email with the invoice and pictures of all the areas worked on. The property was left tidy, and it was an overall excellent experience. That was a week ago, and our AC is working better than it has in the past two years.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half. Will never give Crawford's my business and they're just another auto shop that's dishonest and takes advantage of their customers. Hard to find integrity these days!!

The husky sat and ate grass next to him while he worked on the electrical setup out back. He figured it out and even showed me the issue. No BS. Efficient. Dog-friendly, and a really cool dude. Worth the service fee just to verify what it was to ease my mind. We had an idea, but he solidified it 100% with no guesswork involved - after I threw a ton if new parts on the issue already. Hahaha! I should've called Simple Electric FIRST and saved myself a ton of time, money, pulling my pump apart, researching videos and driving all over town to buy crap to fix it. The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

My disposal backed up one morning and kept going into the other sink every time I turned on the disposal. They were at my house within 2 hours and actually called to see if they could come early as they had finished the other jobs ahead of me! Imagine that, they wanted to come earlier! Matt and Fabian were very quick and effiicient to fix my problem, cleaned up every drop of water - even the ones I spilled on the floor - and left my kitchen looking as though no one had been there! They also told me I shouldn't use drano or anything like that on the pipes because especially with older homes the pipes may be iron (which mine are) and the chemicals will breakdown the inside of the pipes over time which then need to be replaced. I used both Liquid Plummer and Drano before I called so it is not a quick fix and could cost hundreds if not thousands to replace the pipes! I will definitely recommend them to everyone! I called to set up an appointment to have my push/pull shower handle repaired. It was locked up and would not move. I called and Matt picked up immediately. I described the problem and said they could be out the next day at 2pm. Which I felt was very timely since I called at 4pm. Long story short, I described my issue to Matt and he suggested I was on the right path but needed a specific tool that was inexpensive to fix my problem. So even though I solved my issue on my own it would not have been possible without Matt given me a little FREE friendly plumber advice. FYI, I did get quotes for my issue and they ranged from $150-$247. I got it done for $37 thanks to Matt. I was expecting company for my elderly aunt's birthday celebration, and of course, at the last minute possible, encountered an embarrassing bathroom backup. Called MPP in a panic. Matt assured me that the problem would be fixed before the party. He scheduled an emergency visit for the next day, then showed up right when he said he would. Problem solved and disaster averted. Matt and his team have been just great. Earlier in May, I had an under the sink problem and I called first thing in the morning and given an appt time mid afternoon. The repairman was right on time, I mean right on time, gave me a fair price, fixed the problem, and did not leave a mess for us to clean up....great job. Earlier today I had a water heater problem and Matt took the time to have me check and do several things to see if the problem could be resolved over the phone. My hot water heater started leaking out of the bottom. I called Mountain Park Plumbing and they were able to get me an appointment very quickly. They replaced my water heater right away and did a great job. I also appreciated that they didn't charge me unnecessarily. There was a possibility that the pipes would need replacing and it would cost me extra, but when they came to replace my heater, they let me know that I wouldn't need to do that, which saved me over $100! An honest company that I'm so glad I've found and will continue to use them whenever we have plumbing needs. read more

Highly recommend this company! They return phone calls promptly OR even better yet, they usually answer the phone right away, they arrived on time as scheduled (as reviewer below noted not a 3 hour window!) and are very professional. We called them for a suspected plumbing issue (they had to cut into our drywall thinking we had a leak) but turns out issue was coming from unit upstairs. When I called in to give a credit card to pay for the service call, Matt waived our fee as he said "we really didn't do any work"! How unusual is that today! read more

Can't say enough good things about these guys. We've used them for years for regular plumbing work and issues, always professional, reasonably priced, and excellent work. We had them do the plumbing work this year when we updated four bathrooms. All the work was done perfectly, including a rather difficult job of replacing all of the fixtures on our Roman tub, which required hoisting the tub and re-fitting it to get at the fixtures. You can't find better people than MPR to do your plumbing work, highly recommended. read more

We had the on/off spigot to our bathtub snap off. I called and was told the earliest they could come fix it was in 4 days. The tub water would not turn off so we turned of the water to the house. Great Service!! Had an issue with our Kitchen sink and gave them a call. Their first step was to try to walk us through some simple self-fixes before determining if they needed to come out or now. Pretty surprising as other companies want to immediately book a service call. When we determined we couldn't fix it quickly on our own, they came out and took care of the issue in short order. I called late on a Tuesday evening with a plumbing emergency. He picked up the phone and promised to be at my home in an hour, but he did better and showed up sooner. They needed to come out before quoting but there was no charge. Spencer came out and looked over the equipment and agreed with the suggestions but the cost was $1000 less. He would be able to return the next day, Saturday, to do the work at no additional weekend charge. I got discounts because I was a senior citizen and for the multiple items I needed. He showed up right about the time he had estimated the day before and got right to work. He was able to get everything done without completely shutting off our water. Spencer has a great personality, was efficient and the work looked great. Now I remember why I used them initially to install the water heaters.

They provided a clear description and pricing details so we could make an informed decision. Once accepting the bid, they were able to get us on the schedule for Monday, which exceeded our expectations. The plumber gave us a heads-up when on the way with an ETA, and showed up on time, within the provided time slot that we were given on Friday. Once the work was completed, they walked my husband through what was done and they even painted it to make it look cohesive and finished, which I very much appreciate it considering it's on a visible side of our home.
