I've been to various Park Dental clinics over the years, and while they've all generally been good,…read moremy favorite provider--Dr. Wolfe at the Eagan clinic, recently left for a private practice. Total bummer! Finding a new provider can be tough, but I had a midmorning appointment with Dr. Ross Erickson and ended up having a really great experience. I arrived a little early and was warmly greeted by Andrea at the front desk. She was welcoming and professional, which set a positive tone right away. Shortly after checking in, Maria, the dental hygienist, called me back. She was just as kind and welcoming. Maria took the time to go over everything and clearly explained what would be happening during the visit. Dr. Erickson came in within just a couple of minutes after Maria finished. He introduced himself, asked if I had any specific concerns, and made sure to walk me through everything during the exam. I really appreciated how thorough and communicative he was....it helped ease any nerves I had about seeing someone new. The clinic itself is very clean, bright, and well-organized. Overall, a smooth, professional, and comfortable experience. While I'll always miss seeing Dr. Wolfe, I feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. Erickson and the team at Park Dental Salem Square clinic.

Considering it's a dentist, where it may never be fun to attend, this place does everything it can…read moreto try to make you comfortable and the experience as painless as possible. I've had my teeth cleaned here twice and plan for it to be my new regular location. I went here the first time seeking a third opinion on a crown recommendation that I had received two conflicting opinions about; I made it clear that I really didn't want one unless absolutely necessary (as in, I will be in pain without one). The dentist here was realistic with me about what could happen with or without the crown, and I felt like she was treating me like an adult but also being real about potential consequences. I trust her to be honest with me especially because she seemed to respect that I was honest with her too. If you're feeling anxious when you get there, let them know that when they ask how you are. There are ways they can try to help--even if it just means handling you a little gentler. The second time I went I asked for a pillow because my headphones kept falling down and the hygienist was super sweet and accommodated me. I trust this place to not take the most extreme solutions and to be realistic with me, which is not something I've easily found at other dental offices.

Great people and I love how much they care and pay attention to what you ask of them. I'm…read moredefinitely making this my dentist location.
