I never expected Accessory Geeks to be on Yelp, but here we are. I've purchased from them over the years and never had a problem they didn't fix quickly. I always got a response if I asked questions. The pricing has always been good and I got what I paid for. That's not to say their products are the best of the best, but they aren't charging you best of the best prices either. Why pay more at Best Buy? I had been using Amazon a lot, but lately Amazon service has been spotty. I understand Covid 19 is an issue, but now they're making it needlessly difficult to get refunds. So I'm back to use Accessory Geeks again. One problem, their website is down. After all these years, has Covid 19 been the thing that finished them off? I don't know. I'll keep trying, but in the meantime I thought I'd give them 5 stars. And if they are gone, good luck to everyone that was there! read more

My hubby bought me a selfie stick for the holidays cause I really wanted one. There were 2 problems with it: 1. Because my Note 4 was so big, the stick kept swiveling to the side. 2. The bluetooth Moda button was incompatible with the Note 4's native camera, they make you use their camera app. So I called them up and Anna was super nice and helpful. She told me to come in since I was so close and didn't want to wait. When I came in, they looked at the items and tried to connect and fix it. Her manager Karen came in and said that the stick swivels because it wasn't tightened enough, but I wanted something that wasn't so fiddly so she approved the return and Anna brought me another model with the bluetooth built in. She said it was new and helped set me up and did a quick exchange, it was a few bucks more but I really liked it. Great customer service. When I was there, people kept coming in to check and share candies and it was a really nice workplace. :) read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered 3 phone cases on Sept 2nd, 2020 and after a week I decided to call and check on the status. No response so I left a message then sent an email to inquire of my package. No response to the email either. As of today, it's been 2 weeks and 2 days and after 4 calls/ voicemails & several emails, there's still no response. Terrible customer service, I can't see how they treat customers like this and still stay in business. To me, no response means - I don't care about you, we don't even care if you purchase our product, why don't go somewhere else and purchase from them. This is what no response means. As a member of the military, I learned respect is earned through hard work and service. This means Accessory Geeks doesn't respect its customers. Shame on them!! 11 days ago I bought my teens new phones. I also immediately went online and ordered cases from this company I added the faster shipping so when the phones got here they would have the cases and be able to start enjoying their gift. I received 1 email confirming my purchase and nothing since. I've had no updates on the status and of course no return phone calls or emails. The order status on the site says it hasn't been updated since day 3. So my best guess is I got ripped off. $57! As of this morning I went through Amazon and baught my children cases and paid extra for shipping again. This is a lot of money wasted. I'm very disappointed. All it would have taken was some kind of update or response on the status of my order. I will be contacting BBB in hopes of a refund. This is the worst business I've had online. Bought my Mountain High Lift Tickets from here. Pretty good deal. The only thing is you have to come pick it up yourself if you want to save $10 more dollars. This place is a warehouse, so when you go in the building, you have to ring the bell on the table if the receptionist is not there. Someone will come down and assist you. My lift ticket purchase comes with 5 hand warmers. I bought 5 tickets and should get 25 hand warmers. The guy did not give me 25 unless I didn't know how to count. I really had a bad experience with my first purchase with them. I shop online a lot, I always compare prices but customer service is very important especially if you are counting on getting your stuff in the mail. I know when a company is just not set out to be customer friendly or trying to do return business. I bought a iRoot monitor riser, the thing is useless, horrible. I wanted to return it, but first, you have to email them for a RA (return authorization number), and remember, there is no customer service over the weekend. So, I waited 2 days for a reply, instead of a simple RA code, the person responded offered to instead replace the item or send me something similar. No, I wanted to return it, not pay 2x shipping again. Annoyed. I write back, no answer, great. So, I call, and of course, the RA is the order number, but they couldn't just tell you that at first. when i bought my moto g4 I found a case for $14 00 it was shipped the next day. Then my phone went crazy so I ordered a different case and drove to city of industry. and picked up the 17.00 case It worked fine, but the moto g4 sucked and crashed again. so im going to the city of industry tomorrow 5 25 17 to see if i can return to old casecause they said 90 return and ill buy a case for the new motog 5 plus.Ill keep you posted, but Ive had great success with accessory geeks. The screen protector and "rubberized" hard case I ordered from Accessory Geeks are of extremely low quality. The profit margin on these must be 1000% or more. I'm sure they're made in China for pennies, but I paid $4.99 and $9.99 respectively. What irks me about the screen protector is the industrial strength Chinese adhesive used to affix the "remove this sticker after applying to your screen" sticker that I spent an hour trying to completely remove. I didn't want to use an industrial strength solvent to remove the excess gummy residue because it's a phone that you really shouldn't get anything liquid near. Also, the screen protector says it won't leave a sticky residue, or film, on the screen when you remove it, but when I tried to remove it to get rid of the gummy residue of the sticker I couldn't completely remove, there was a film on the screen. Guess I won't be removing the screen protector anytime soon. Also, the "rubberized" hard case doesn't seem to contain any rubber at all. It's just a hard black plastic that I hope will cushion my phone in the event that I drop it. I've seen other people's "rubberized" hard cases, and the case I received from Accessory Geeks is decidedly 'not' rubberized at all. On a positive note, the delivery was quick and the ordering process was simple. The quality of their products is sub-par; at least the two items I received. Oh well, they will do the job they were intended for, it seems. Caveat Emptor. read more

I ordered a new OEM battery for my phone. When it arrived, I found that it wasn't even as good as my old one. I left a bad review, expecting to just chalk it up to bad products. Within a day, I received an email from the Customer Channel Manager, asking me if they could make good on it. They sent me a new battery which is just like the one I had in the phone when it was new. They sent it even before I sent the old one back! I was really taken aback by the excellent response. It is unusual to experience this kind of customer service from Internet suppliers. Accessory Geeks has very low prices, usually free and fast shipping. I gave a bad product review on their website and they personally reached out to me to try to fix the error. It was my mistake to order the wrong part. Double check the model numbers very carefully as there are many different versions of the same phone. Accessory Geeks customer service rep, offered to replace the screen cover and make the issue right, even though it was my fault for ordering the wrong product. My bro and I just got LG Leon phones, that are newly released phones just barely offered at Best Buy this week. As of yet, phone cases for LG Leon can only be ordered online, but I hate ordering things, having to wait, and maybe having an order get lost in the mail or misdelivered. I did not want to pay the ridiculous prices of $19.99-$24.99 for the cases offered at the T-Mobile store. I found Accessorygeeks.com, which happened to be very close to where I live. Although they don't advertise that they have will-call service, I called to check and they were happily willing to help us. We both got Silicone TPU skin covers for our phones. I got the Crystal and he got the green. The fit is perfect and seems to be of good quality. Granted, we did not pay the lowest price to be found online, but it is still reasonable considering the instant gratification. Amazon's free shipping would get your order to your home in about 8 days even though your items are in stock, but you would have to order $35 or more of qualifying product. In conclusion, we are both so happy with our cases. Jennifer was super friendly and was a pleasure in completing our purchase. We are likely to purchase from them again in the future. read more

I ordered a cell phone case from Accessory Geeks. The price seemed good but after waiting nearly a month, I had still not received my case. I went back to their site to check the status and, after pasting in my order number and filling in the zip code it told me that my order had been cancelled about 5 days after I placed it. Of course no money was refunded to me nor was I notified that my order had been cancelled. I called the customer service number 4 separate times, each time, having to leave a message which they said they would return. Of course they didn't. And the "live chat" that they also touted was impossible to find on the website (I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist). So they essentially stole my money without sending me any product. read more

I ordered an item that was listed as "ready to be shipped within 24-48 hours!" I paid extra for the 2 day shipping because i needed the item ASAP!! I order the item on a Friday and when I went to check the status on Monday it was listed as "Back Ordered" so i called to get an ETA.(They were not in the office at there listed starting time and nobody even answered the phone until 45 minutes after the listed business hours) The lady I was finally able to get through to said there was no ETA but back ordered Items typically ship in a couple days and that it would probably ship on Wednesday of that week. I inquired about cancelling my order and the lady said "I just got another update and your item will ship out tomorrow"(Tuesday). I continued to check the status daily all week and it continued to say back ordered until Friday when I received and email: "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience but unfortunately, the item(s) you ordered below are discontinued and no longer available:" So now it is a week later and I had expected to have my item and it has not even been shipped and never will be. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the transaction so I replied to there email... Unfortunately they have chosen to not even reply to me. I recently ordered an item from Accessory Geeks online website. I received free shipping with my order and it listed 3-10 business days as a delivery window. I live in the Midwest (Illinois) and I tracked the package with the link they sent with my order. I placed the order on the evening of 2/3 and it was shipped on 2/4. Pretty good I thought. DHL then picked it up from their location on 2/4 and it delivered to Des Plaines, IL at 5:37am on 2/6. I waited until 2/10 and the status on the order had not changed. So, being a Distribution and Logistics professional myself, I was concerned and I called their office and left a message. They returned my call with a voice mail stating that they had 10 days to get the shipment here and to call them back if it had not delivered by then. This upset me, so I called them earlier with the time difference and caught someone live and explained that my package was sitting at DHL for 5 days and she tried to tell me some BS story about a snowstorm causing the delay. Meanwhile, the package has been within 15 miles of it's final destination for the last 5 days now and still remains there and there was no damn snowstorm. I informed her of this and I was told if it gets past 10 days to call back and get an update. I asked her why she cold not call and check with DHL as to why the package was sitting in one place within 15 miles of it's destination and she said she would be glad to do this if it was after 10 day delivery window. RIDICULOUS!!! This will be the LAST TIME I purchase from Accessory Geeks and their customer service would be the reason. I ordered an item from Best Buy online that shipped from CA the same day as this order and it also had free shipping. I have it already and did not have to call to check on it. I ordered one product online from accessorygeeks.com. It was a car charger that was supposed to be compatible with my iPod. When I plugged it in, my iPod said that the accessory was not compatible. I sent a message to accessorygeeks.com asking about that and never got any response. The device retailed for $20+ but they sold it for $5. Not worth me taking any more time.
