Service requested on my Whirlpool front loading washer. It wasn't draining and the door was locked with wet clothes inside. I wasn't able to reset the washer by unplugging, so I called a few appliance repair shops. Since I wrote my first review of Nathan and Accurate Appliance Repair we have had him out twice more, both within the last month. The ice dispenser on the refrigerator he got up and running for us in 2019 hasn't worked since we bought it used. Nathan came out last month and accurately diagnosed the problem on one visit, ordered the part and had it up and working the day after the part arrived. Last night after doing a load of wash, the bottom of our tub, the wash plate, had completely come loose from its mooring and was standing vertically. Not good. I have been working with Nathan for the last 3 years and he is always very quick to respond back, setup a quick visit and comes in with a good reasonable estimate. He will also give you honest feedback if it is worth fixing or just buy a new appliance based on the age, condition and quality of the unit. He is also very patient and allowed me to watch and explained the function of the parts while he was taking apart our dryer to replace the heater elements. He is extremely fast as he repaired our dishwasher and dryer in about a hour so his labor costs to the customer will be low. He runs his own company and is very honest, provides very fair pricing and he will be someone we will use in the future for all appliance repairs. Nathan fixed our Kitchen Aid dishwasher replacing the control console and recently replaced the heater element on our Samsung electric dryer. For the dryer he already had the heater element in stock so we had it fixed in one visit and not need a followup visit to have the part ordered and delivered and then installed on the second visit. Very efficient !!!! For both jobs Nathan let us know his thoughts if it was worth fixing and even gave us thoughts on what brands he would focus on if we wanted to buy new. Nathan was GREAT! On Tuesday we discovered that our 4 yr old Whirlpool clothes dryer stopped heating/drying our clothes. Nathan replied to my request for a quote by text. I told him that our front loading washing machine had developed a leak. He suggested that I inspect the door seal to make sure it didn't have a crack in the rubber gasket which would keep it from making a tight seal. Also, he said to clean the gasket well to get rid of all mineral build-up and dirt. I couldn't find a crack, but did find lots of dirt. I cleaned it well and ran a load of laundry. No leak!
