Withholding Documentation: They scanned my vehicle's data and checked my mileage but refused to provide me with the standard intake ticket given to all other arriving drivers. 50K MAINTENANCE for my perfectly running Toyota is 1.5 hours per the dealership. NOT 'HALF TO A FULL DAY'. That's an ER visit for a human. In Connecticut, automotive businesses must legally provide a written repair or estimate before performing work, and treating a senior consumer unfairly regarding waiting accommodations can be reported directly as an official dealership business violation I asked the shop if I could wait when I made my appointment the week before and was told yes. What a miserable waste of time traveling to and from for ridiculous gaslighting and mistreatment. Above and beyond doesn't even begin to cover it. The car is running perfectly now, but the real takeaway from this experience was the people. Honest, empathetic, good-hearted humans who had every reason to turn us away -- but didn't. They stepped up, and we'll never forget it. We drove the rest of the way to Boston with full hearts. The techs do not have the experience or knowledge of classic Chevy V8 engines nor the replacement parts regarding repairing them. The customer service is excellent. My check engine light came on and needed the code checked. Brandon accommodated me and they were able to check it as soon as I came. He could tell I was quite worried. He took time to listen, he was very reassuring and compassionate. I was told by another shop that I needed my wipes and all tires replaced. He told me my wipes are working fine and 2 of my tires are still good. I really appreciated his honesty. He also offered to drive me to back to work which was close to the shop. He made everything super easy and less stressful. This was the best experience I've ever had at an auto repair shop. I highly recommend this place! read more

Please ask about price for an oil change before you go. I was $83 for an oil change. They are very friendly and helpful. However I had other options that were more affordable, had I taken the moment to ask about the charge. Wow! I am still dumbfounded at the price Now it is about a month later and my car says that the oil needs to be changed. I call the place and they say I have to take the car back they didn't update the sensor. 80 and then some dollars and they couldn't update the sensor, now I have to take time out of my day to get the sensor updated? read more

Then we made an appt to have it fixed the following week, dropped it off in the morning, compressor needed to be replaced, done by 2PM. Price was also reasonable. I made an appointment for 3pm, left work early and got there on time, however was told that they would not service my car because there wasn't enough time in the day. I told the owner that this was the time they scheduled and he just pointed at his ear saying that he misunderstood and that I need to reschedule. I get nervous when I have to go to mechanics - however I brought my car to have a check engine light looked at. They were very prompt and told me what the code meant and that sometimes that code came on by accident. I had a bad experience with this shop. I took my car in for regular tire alignment and when I'm driving out of the shop into East Ave... my back tire falls off! They had not bolted one of my back tires at all and my car fell flat on the road. To make matters worse, there was a fire truck that couldn't pass because of my car being left in the middle of the road. This type of quality control is unacceptable and it could have really turned out far worse for me than it did. After complaining they offered me one free oil change, but they are never touching my car again. read more
