Agree, Stan is the Man. My washer latch locked and I had wet clothes sitting overnight. I called Stan (received his information from a friend), 8:30AM and he said he could be here the same day between 12-2. He explained in detail the 2 issues it could be, getting a new lock was the best case scenario. He called to see where he could get the part, left immediately and drove to Van Nuys in rush hour. When he returned he installed the lock and it worked. I feel that Stan is extremely dependable, clean, kind and most importantly, honest. Stan actually was able to show up 2 hours earlier than our agreed upon time. He was totally professional. Gave me the lowdown on my options when he discovered that the circuit board on my washer unit was fried. Since he was already at the house, I had him look at my fridge that was having cooling issues. I called in to ACDC after closing hours on a Saturday and I figured I would get their answering machine but Stan answered the phone. After I told him what our issue was, he said that he could come by in about an hour or so. I was very happy to hear this because I was visiting my mom at the time and the problem was with her built in oven. When Stan came over, he quickly diagnosed the issue and luckily, he had the part that was needed in his truck! Awesome job! Called in the morning and he came out in the afternoon and fixed my oven. I would highly recommend.

Call ACDC on Sunday, talked to Stan and got a appointment for Monday. Explained that our washing machine was not draining properly. He came over right on time and explained what our options were. We went ahead and had Stan check our drain hose and "catch" on it and it was completely packed with coins, dirt and a face mask that had somehow lodge itself which was blocking the flow of water. Stan cleaned it all up and reassembled the washer and ran a few rinse cycles on it. It worked like it was brand new again. And then after he was done with the washer, I had him look at our stove which had a bad burner on it. He was able to fix that also. We are so glad we called ACDC and would highly recommend Stan and crew! read more

Dean, the owner and guy who fixes what is broken, came out on a Friday afternoon to check out my dishwasher which was making a high pitched noise when I tried to turn it on. Dean had fixed my electric oven so I had confidence in his judgement. Sure enough, some small expensive and hard to source part was broken and needed replacing. It was then about 5:15. By the way, he needed to turn off the kitchen power so he had to go in and out of the house to the circuit board and turn on and off the power to find the correct breaker for the dishwasher. After he identified the part, he called around to find it and went out in rush hour traffic to pick it up. About 3 hours later he was back, put the part in, tested the dishwasher, got paid and was off to his next job! Wow! Thank you Dean! read more

STAN IS THE MAN! I called him at 12:10pm with a error code on my non-working washing machine. It was full of wanted and not draining! He said he would come by and do a service call to confirm the issue. He was at my house by 1pm and by 2pm I had a fully functioning washing machine again! Absolutely the best! The gas company identified a gas leak in our stove. ACDC did the repair only to find out the gas company got it wrong. ACDC then took apart the stove, eliminated the stove as the source of the leak and narrowed it to the main gas line. Gas company will make the fix. ACDC goes out of their way to provide the best service for fair prices. We will be using them in the future and give our highest possible recommendation! read more

Our Samsung washer was leaking and we did a search on Yelp and found AC/DC with 5-start reviews. I looked at a few others. I ended up leaving a message with 1 that had more reviews (but never called back). When I called AC/DC, Stan responded and from there we managed to book a repair visit for the same day on a Saturday! Stan showed up on time! He managed to diagnose the issue quickly and gave a reasonable estimate. The part was not available and he promised that it would either be here Sunday or Monday. I was thinking that there was no way to get this fixed Sunday, but I was surprised again! Stan called me in the evening and told me the part was in. He gave me the option to install Sunday or Monday. This review is so late! First, Stan is the man! Just hire him already and then read the rest of this review. Ok you've hired him, good job! So my dryer was rattling like crazy. We had no idea why. My wife told me that i better get it fixed ASAP so I jumped on it. I called a couple places and they weren't so great to speak to on the phone. Stan is different though. I told him my situation and my weird schedule that day and he said he would be over in 20 min. He came on time, gave me his assessment, and I told him I'd ask my wife. I texted him an hour later that we wanted to do the work and he came back at the end of his day, past working hours for him I believe, came and did the repair. We were also talking about my fridge and he told me to clean this area in the back that I had never cleaned before. He said if I did that every year or so my fridge would have a longer life. He even gave me some cleaning supplies to do it. He didn't have to tell me this because if it does break, I'll probably call him, but now it won't at least for awhile. Pretty cool guy right? I am extremely satisfied with Stan's work on both our refrigerator and dryer. My 'fridge had been having wide temperature swings (from 38' to 48'). Stuff just wasn't as cold as it should be. Also, the dryer had been making this horrible squealing noise. Stan came and removing an incredible amount of dust from both appliances (who knew I was supposed to have the units cleaned!!!) and replaced a part on the dryer that caused the squealing. Now the refrigerator works perfectly (I keep a thermometer inside the unit to test the temperature). Also, the dryer is so quiet now, I don't even know it's on. Yes, I very pleased. read more
