So this silly Little Rock decides to hit my windshield thus giving me a little crack which spread into a bigger crack and so I called my insurance and they gave my several options but I decided to go to Ace because all the great reviews and then I found out that they work close with my Dearlship, so YAY! This company was easy to book although there was a small snapfue about how long to get my windshield but they got it from my dealership which took a week so that was great. My day of arrival was quick and they told me it would take 1 1/2 hours but within an hour it was finished so again I say YAY! It was close to lunch so again searching my Yelp I found a great lunch place Asian Fusion Grindz around the corner which I really enjoyed, shout out to the Grindz.....lol! Anywho got my car licky split and it was GOLDEN! Wonderful lady in the office was so understanding in my craziness when I first called and even when I came in! I can't say thank you enough for Ace Auto Glass! They truly are so awesome!! My car got broken into and I needed repair ASAP. Called Ace and they were able to give me a quote immediately and take my car in. Unfortunately they were booked for the day and didn't have an opening the next morning. Informed Ace that I didn't have a garage to park my car and they were gracious enough to let me leave my car in their warehouse overnight (thank god because the weather has been rainy!). Passenger side window was broken. My insurance recommended safelite and they quoted me with 350+ for the service. I called Ace and they were able to fix it with much less then that. Went in and the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. It took about an hour to get it done. Had to wait outside because of COVID-19 to eliminate gathering in an enclosed area. The glass was replaced with no indication that it never happened besides the manufacturer of the glass itself. Tested the window to make sure it was installed correctly and it was. Now i have to do my own tint. Great job and thank you. read more

I had a passenger rear window busted during a surf session. Ace Auto Glass in Pearl City was quick in giving a quote via yelp and email. After booked my appointment Ace took an hour to replace my shattered remanent-of-a-window. Since service was received during the pandemic there's little to no contact. This meant calling when I arrived, exchanging documents and money on a clip board and no waiting room (I read in the park across the street). The quote I got was the lowest when I did a price comparison but it was a non-brand window. The price might be more should you need a dealership/brand window. It should already be known to never leave bags/purses in the car unattended! I let my brother borrow my car and he did the exact opposite, left his back pack in the front passenger seat while at work and someone broke into my front passenger window. We called around and this location was able to get us an appointment for the next day! The receptionist, Shandell, was very nice the entire time from making the appointment, dropping off my car, and even to call for pick up. I dropped off my car at 12:50 for my appointment at 1:00 and they took it immediately. They told me the estimated time was about an hour to an hour and a half depending on if they run into difficulties, the service was done within 1 hour and 10 minutes! When my boyfriend called Ace Auto Glass on Kamehameha Highway they were telling us it would take about 3 hours... Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend! read more

Well they get the job done so if there's no where else available at least know that you will get your car fixed. I had a pebble lodged in my windshield and the only place I could find in the phone book that seemed reputable was Ace (this was before I started using Yelp a lot). Well soon as I scheduled the appointment I started hearing horror stories but I thought well my safety inspection is due and I can't get to work without my stickers on my car so.... Don't really have a choice since it's last minute. Here are the rumors I heard: They charge exorbitant prices They have horrible customer service They never finish on time and sometimes they turn you away because they didn't order the parts. Okay here's what I experienced. They are overly expensive. I think it's because a lot of insurance companies use them so they're basically just playing the system. The prices aren't exorbitant but they aren't exactly reasonable. They do have horrible customer service. The receptionists were on their phones talking to friends, family, and boyfriends the whole time and when they weren't doing that they were gossiping together. I know a little bit of this happens at every job but the work to non work related percentages were about 95 to 5 respectively. But they do get the bare bones done. Okay as for the last rumor. They didn't have my part so they did reschedule me, thankfully not after I already showed up. So this is true sometimes those girls are too busy gossiping to order your parts but they do eventually get them. So I had to miss a day of work to come down on a different day then I'd planned. Luckily, my work wasn't too PO-ed about it. However, one guy wasn't so lucky. As I was waiting for about 4 hours (they said it'd take 2 hours). One of the guys that was in the waiting area (has 2 chairs and is about 2 feet wide), started screaming and eventually stormed out to scream at his insurance company. Turns out this was his third time showing up for his appointment only to have them not have the part and try and make him wait while they got it or reschedule him again. He was livid. Another customer came in while I was there and was screaming because they wanted to keep his car overnight and I think even charge him for it since they didn't finish anywhere near the quoted time. And I can't remember why the lady was screaming. Basically, they get the job done and there is nothing wrong with the quality of work done on the car (I've had no issues with my windshield since) but they really need to work on their prices and customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place unless your insurance company won't let you go elsewhere or like me it was the only place that could take you short notice. read more

I was referred here by Jerry at Cutter Mazda in Waipahu and I was amazed with their service! I called today around 9am to see if they had a windshield for a Mazda 2. Receptionist was on-point and already had the quote ready for me with an estimated time of 2hrs. I made my appointment and 1:30the same day but ended up dropping my car off at 2. My car was finished by 3:15!!! They were even nice enough to remove my military pass and put it on the new windshield for me. Great customer service and the receptionist was very plea sent!! Outstanding service and fast. I had a chunk of asphalt take out my windshield and I wasn't able to drive until it got fixed. Being a hybrid I was getting quotes north of $1000 and 2-3 weeks to get the parts shipped, but Ace had one and was able to get back on the road and making money. Damn flying rock on the H3 hit my windshield and cracked it! My car is only 9 months old! Called my insurance co. and asked for recommendation for auto glass repair shop. Referred Ace Auto Glass. Called them asked for a quote and about mobile service. $351.03 for glass and about 1 1/2 hours to fix. Set up appt. for the next morning between 8:30am-12:30pm. To my surprise I got a call at exactly 8:30am they were downstairs by my car! I lucked out and was the first appointment. Went down and they said it'll take about an hour. After only 40 minutes they were done!! Wow!! Kainoa and Marty are the best!! Kainoa explained the warranty and all the do's and don'ts til the glass is set. So long story short, small ass rock caused a LONG crack on my windshield... Coming from Ewa side, this place was the next closest shop outside of Waipahu. Calling them to schedule an appointment was super easy, and they tend to have openings a few days after calling, or a week later. The girl who helped me over the phone and in person was awesome. I was told it might take about 1.5 hours to complete the replacement, and that's exactly how long it took. I'm glad the wait time was true and not longer than the time given. I paid a $50 deductible for my windshield replacement. So I recommend checking with your car insurance to see if any window cracks or damages are covered under your plan. However, if my insurance didn't pay a portion, the total would've cost me $215 for the window and $148 for labor. Yikes! Also the place is located right next to Marujyu Market and parking wasn't a problem for me. If you ever need help taking care of your window, I recommend coming here! Service was quick as expected, and workers were nice. Hoping I never have to experience a crack in my windshield again, but if I do, I know I'd come back here for service. Thanks again! read more

Went to replace my 2014 RAM windshield after something flew off a semitruck bounced on the freeway up into my windshield. They took me in right away and went to the ends of the Earth to find my specific windshield with a rain sensor, humidity sensor and all the other bells and whistles. It was expensive (Note to self, next vehicle, no unnecessary options on the windshield). Service was great, and they have several places nearby to eat at whole waiting. read more

Best place for windshield replacement. I got a quote emailed to me super quick, and they had the best price out of everyone I contacted. Making an appointment was a breeze and the receptionist was the best, over the phone and when I arrived at the office. Got my windshield replaced in under 2 hours. The waiting area is small, but there's a Starbucks within walking distance. Their site also has coupons/discounts available, was able to use one for my replacement. Everywhere I called before ace did not have the mirror in stock, including the dealer who quoted that it would cost $360 and I'd have to wait a week or more for it to arrive. Thank God for Ace. Given ETA times for sourcing glass was accurate, and I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day that my glass arrived.
