Ruined my haircut and didn't seem to care at all. Will never come here again. Terrible service and no attempt to make things right.

No frills service or upscale design & space but I've been here a few times and believe they provide a great service and value!

Normally I'm satisfied with this place. Be careful with Sunny. She'll cut first and ask your preference later or ignore it altogether. I told her I wanted a low fade and just a little off the top. She took the fade much higher than I wanted and took twice as much off the top as I wanted. She kept my back to the mirror the entire time so I didn't catch it in time. Moved to the area in 2018 and found them online based on reviews and haven't been disappointed! Had my hair cut by several of their barbers and never had a bad cut. They listen to what you want and don't just buzz your head short. They finish the cut with a razor trim and a hot towel for a nice touch these days. Would recommend giving them a try! read more

I got my hair cut today Saturday 6/15/24 by the lady name Lee. She is rough and she doesn't prepare you what's coming next what she is about to do to you. First, when she cut your back hair she put her hand on top of your head and press down real hard, like I have control to shrink down my neck. Then when she is about to put a hot towel on you she didn't prepared you or tell you the towel is hot. Don't get me wrong the hot towel is find but I do think you should let people know first. Stay awake from the lady Lee if you don't want to get man handle. read more

Wow this place is terrific. Clean and with a very comfortable environment where you can lounge on comfy sofas or help yourself to a complimentary water. I went here for the first time last week and was referred by my oldest son whose haircut I liked. I had my hair cut by the woman up front with glasses and and extremely pleased. She really took her time and did a terrific job. Since then my other two sons have had her cut their hair and we all all very happy. I will no longer go to Rooster or the barber by Dicks (sorry). As I'm sitting in this chair while my boyfriend is getting a cut. This place is very clean, affordable, and every barber is taking their time. Myself is a barber too, but my boyfriend gets very picky about his haircut, this place is only place he's been going for a while. Only two barbers are working, but they are detailed oriented. Found this place about one month ago and my Husband and son tried it. The ladies are nice and skilled on just about any hair. My husband really liked the after care touch with the damp wash rag to the skin. The price is very good compared to other places. We plan to go back. I don't have small children but it is nice that they have a play area for the kids. read more

Stick to the ladies! I walked out on the male barber extremely shortly into the cut. Firstly he put what felt like a really wide paper towel around my neck and shoved a ton of extra material down the front of my neck which was scratchy, secondly I also asked to look in a mirror to explain what I wanted to do, instead of turning me around he brings out a tiny mirror holds it a foot from my face pointed at my chest I kept having to duck and said "I can't see" at least 4 times before I turned the chair around to see myself in the big mirror, I said I wanted a 3 on the sides and back and showed him how much off the top (keep in mind the sides and back of my hair are buzzed and the hair on the top is way too long to buzz) but he began to ask me what I wanted to do on the left side of my head... 'oh please shave that side completely off I have an ear surgery tomorrow' I should've told him but instead I explained my cut a couple more times and he could not understand I wanted both sides of my head a 3, then he starts to cut my hair and doesn't wet the top then just mats it down with his hand (so the hairs will fall down and get cut, also he won't be able to get a straight line cause his hand was in the way) so I asked him to pin it down or tie it up, he looked around for 2 min then comes back and says "I'm a barber I don't have pins or anything like that" what?... so I asked to leave since I couldn't get the gown thing off and he tried to convince me to stay before taking it off, then before I stood up he looked at me and said "I'm the barber I know what to do," well it's my hair and money, I know what I want. On a side note, the main lady said sorry on the way out, she just sat someone and there were two more people sitting so I didn't decide to step in front of them, even though I already was... but she gives an amazing hair cut! The shop is clean with TVs for the adults and big kids, and a whole kids corner with toys to entertain the little kids while you get your haircut. The stylist was courteous, professional and took her time in paying great attention to detail. The barber I had been going to in Purcellville closed her shop a while ago and, until now, I have not found a good barber.
