Sadly, this used to be my go-to spot but I don't know that I'll be going back. They hired a new guy who is apparently a heavy smoker, and I was choking to death and getting a headache the whole time. I also asked for a skin fade but he didn't shave it to the skin, and he used some comb that was like digging painfully into my head the whole time. An old coworker of mine recommended this place, so we all went there before taking a boys trip and I've gone there ever since, and that was over 6 years ago. Out of all the haircuts I've gotten there, only 2 I haven't been super pleased about, but I also always go to whoever is available. Some are more talented than others. I have to give it to them, they have good marketing based on pics in this yelp review, but I received one of the worst haircuts in my life here. I checked out a lot of reviews on yelp to determine where I might go and this place has good ratings. Maybe the other barbers are better, but I chose Alex who seemed to have the highest number of shoutouts. I'm still confused who had worse eyesight, the reviewers or Alex, but I walked away with the most lopsided fade ever. I asked for some texture on top, to which he replied "I did" and to this day I'm walking around like I slept with a plate on my head. Choppy, uneven on both sides, I had to ask my girlfriend to attempt to repair it. This is the first bad haircut I've had that only got worse as it grew out. Congratulations on that milestone. I walked in and got a barber right away. They seemed nice and polite. As soon as I walked in, I asked if they accept credit cards, Masine (one of the barbers there) told me yes, but when it was time to pay my bill, she told me "Sorry, we don't take credit cards". This place is literally the best barber shop in the are! I have been bringing my 2 year old and 5 year old since they were a year old and they do an incredible job! We get asked everywhere we go about our buys haircuts! They are so sweet and caring with the boys and sometimes Kevin even makes them a balloon animal at the end!!! So glad we found this place! Went here twice. First time was decent. The guy running the register knew what he was doing. The second time was a nightmare. I asked for a fade with a small trim on the top. The guy had no idea what he was doing. (Chair in back left corner when you walk in). Took off way too much, no fade, ivener sidburns and uneven on top. And when I got home I noticed he missed a huge rift of hair in the back. Never going back. read more

Only giving one star because you can not leave none. try to always go to the same barber shop but was out of the area; decided to stop here. Save your time and hair and go somewhere else. I asked for a pompadour hair style and showed the lady a picture of how I wanted it. Before yesterday, I would have given this barber shop 4 stars. However, I received possibly one of the worst haircuts I have ever received even after I explicitly detailed how I wanted my haircut. The barber communicated to me what he was going to do and I trusted him because up until now I had no reason not to. My trust was misplaced because he absolutely butchered my hairstyle and cut it how he wanted it to look. Other than that the customer service has always been great, usually a short wait if any at all. I always notice the owner going out of his way to make people feel welcome for instance when he makes balloon animals for the younger kids that come in for a haircut. Also, another negative downside is that they only accept cash payment. I would not recommend going here unless you want a buzz cut or a crew cut. read more

This place is new and it is true that the staff is welcoming, but I don't believe that its all that it is cracked up to be...yet. I believe that they have room to improve and they will continue to get better and become a reliable place to cut hair. I miss Mike being in there, he cut my hair the first few times but I believe he's gone for good. I've been here about 15 times since its opened because of the convenience of how close it is to where I live. I will say that I'm impressed with the hot shaving cream and the straight razor to clean up the neck, but they have had such high turnover and I get fairly different results every time. I'm not sure if I'm just used to consistency or if this is how all barber shops are in the area. I haven't bothered to ask for a specific person each time because I am usually in a hurry during the week. The hair cuts are $16 and they prefer cash for tips but do have a machine to swipe cards. There is a small language barrier with some of the barbers but for the most part, they are able to understand what you are saying. There are two large TV's, they offer drinks (water/soda) and yes, they are very nice. Customer service is great. They are awesome with kids and also do women's hair.
