Went searching on Yelp for alterations and came across Ace Cleaners. Loved all the positive comments for alterations and cleaning. My husband needed his suit altered so we stopped in one afternoon. The owner greeted us warmly and after examining the garment, she said she could have it ready the following Friday. I was pleasantly surprised she could do the work so quickly. Amy is honest and will tell you what she can and cannot do. She did a beautiful job on my husband's suit. The total she charged was reasonable as well. We are appreciative of her kind, friendly and helpful demeanor and I know I will be dropping off any dry cleaning to her in the future. I noticed she advertises organic dry cleaning. I'm not sure what exactly that means but I like that they are committed to organic cleaning practices since dry cleaning can use some harsh chemicals. Open 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, closed on Sundays. I am impressed with the super job on pressing my linen dress. My iron didn't make a dent in all the wrinkles but Ace Cleaners sure did!

I was in a car accident the day after I dropped my suits off. Without a car, I couldn't pick them up as scheduled. They called to check in on me since I hadn't picked them up and, after hearing about my accident, offered to deliver them for no additional charge. My suits were delivered just a few hours later! The wedding was 2 days away and they were so kind to squeeze me in and didn't overcharge me just because they could. The price was reasonable and they did a great job. Ace Cleaners in Rohnert Park has been my dry cleaning service and shirt laundry service for most of the 20 years I've lived in my home here (I lived in other locations for certain years for work at the same time). In all these many years of bringing hundreds of garments and dozens of blankets and other items in for dry cleaning, only once has there been a mistake or problem. Early in the '90s, I brought a wool blanket to be dry cleaned and somehow someone put it into the wet laundry. My queen size wool blanket ended up a twin size. The owner, Linda, did not even question my word and immediately offered a store credit for the cost of the blanket (which I think was $100). Linda's husband, James, is also there working every day but does not always work at the counter. Linda's English is much better (I believe they are originally from Korea). They have two lovely daughters both attending at a different University of California campus. As I mentioned, I maintained a second residence for a while close to work where I had to find another dry cleaner closer to that location in silicon valley. I had thought that Ace Cleaners' prices were on the high side, but after dry cleaning clothes down the peninsula I realized that ACE actually has very competitive prices. I am pleased that ACE uses environmentally and clothes fiber friendly solutions. I am always treated warmly and with recognition from both Linda and James. Bottom line---my dry cleaning and laundered shirts are always cleaned well, all spots removed, and ironed/steamed nicely. This place is great! I was freaking out because I needed to get my skirt suit dry cleaned for work. But I only had one day.. so that scared me. Most places I've been to take at least 3 days. I took my two piece suite, a blouse and my pea coat in around 3 and they were still able to guaranty it for next day. I picked it up today and everything looks great. Other places I called acted like it was a huge favor to do it next day.. and I would have to pick up super later the next place. Ace Cleaners took my stuff with a smile! I've been going to Ace for a long time. They are courteous and do a good job. When I get some clothes back with some remnants of a stain that didn't come off, they always try again at no additional cost. This place was a total life saver! I had accidentally washed my new teddy jacket with a fur sweater and it was covered in lint. I tried my best to get it off with no luck. I took it in worried that they wouldn't be able to fix it. However they were able to get all the lint off and had my jacket looking brand new! I was so happy and it was only $10.
