What a breath of fresh air, The customer service here is exceptional. Josh, Verified the website was accurate and in fact there was one item left I wanted ( corded Stihl hedge trimmer) As I was driving 40 minutes, I wanted verification the stock was correct. Thank you Josh. While I was there i splurged on an extendable Stihl gas tree trimmer. Josh set me up with a spare chain, chain file, bar oil, premixed gas, as well,as some other product support items. The other sahes clerks I interacted with were also positive. Have been a customer for 3 years I purchased a Stihl Battery trimmer and blower. I used the hedge trimmer 3 times and then it stopped working. I brought it in and they charged $35 to look at it and I was told I would get it taken off after they repair. I got machine back and it was covered under warranty. Now a year later and trimmer stopped working. I brought it in and they charged the $35 to look at it and was told it would come off the total repair. So Its ready and I go in and it was the same problem they replaced the same part and charged my $174 for the repair and said the $35 would not be refunded because it was not in Warranty? So now it's over $200 dollars? I could have bought a new one for $279 dollars. I felt like I was taken advantage of. Doesn't Ace stand behind there repairs? I definitely and upset and will probably not return to this store. read more

I don't know why Ace says that something is available, then when you go to the store they really don't want to help you and blow you off, then they don't even have the thing you were looking for. The real problem there is the fact that the employees not giving a shit and not even try to look on the computer see if they can have it brought or if I can go to another one to get it, I know Home Depot does that. Needed a battery for my garage opener. I prefer Ace because the are a local store, over a HD or Lowe's. My first time visiting this store, and the customer service was OUTSTANDING! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I'm staying in a VRBO, so I had no tools nor knowledge of how to get the opener working. The guys were friendly and helpful. They had the special tool to open the opener, and helped me located the batteries to purchase, and helped me put the new ones on. Never would you get that kind of help at the big stores... once again ACE is the place! Again great service all around!! Good people... read more

We ordered a ladder on line on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, with a projected delivery date from the Coachella Ace Hardware store of Friday, October 9. That Thursday, a day early, the Coachella Ace contacted us and said they could deliver the ladder in the next 20-30 minutes, which they did. The delivery cost was $10 (which is waived if you are an "Ace Rewards" member). This is a bargain. In my opinion, this was a great sales and service experience with Ace in general and the Coachella Ace in particular. We had a terrible (and continuing) problem with Amazon several months ago when we ordered a ladder from them. It was never delivered, even though Amazon said it was. Clearly, we should have gone with Ace in the first place, which would have avoided the hassle created by Amazon. read more

I went several places looking for a specific item with no luck... as soon as I entered the store Jaime greeted me as soon as I came in and walked me over to find what I needed. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He even gave me extra tips that will come in very helpful. I would highly recommend the store to any and everyone. The store is really clean and organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, I purchased 3 cans of ACE brand white spray paint and none of the cans were good. Even after thoroughly shaking, the first can only spray crumbing droplets, the second sprayed ok but droplets were all over the surrounding area and the third sprayed at a weird angle and the paint was watery so it just dripped all over my fingers. Worst spray paint I have ever used. This was the ACE brand white spray paint- very poor quality. Do not recommend. read more
