Love having a "real" hardware store close by. Reggie is amazing; brought in a key that was old as heck and he managed to find a blank x2 and get my keys made. HEY ACE THIS GUY DESERVES A RAISE. The customer service and more importantly the genuine greetings as you come through the door and the offer to assist are worth their weight in gold. It's refreshing after being out in the South Bay and greeted with phones in faces and little or no eye contact with store employees. Keep up the great work ya'll see you sooner than later. read more

This by far is the best hardware store around! Their customer service is beyond fantastic! We bought a BBQ for our son and not only did they have the best price but they assembled it and delivered it in time for his birthday at no extra charge! Horrible front entrance. No clear way to get in. The front doors are locked during business hours and their main back door is COVERED in junk and random items. Couldn't even tell they were open. I'm sure if I were to get into the store, inside would have been just the same nightmare. Way better at Home Depot. Great staff willing to go the extra mile to serve you. If they don't have it they will find it. Stephanie helped me find what I needed and made sure I had everything to complete the job. I like this Ace Hardware location it was clean spacious things was included everywhere and things were easy to find. The ladies restroom was even clean as well. The manager of the store where I believe is the manager the store was so friendly and informative. He even signed me up for my rewards card. I will revisit this location even though it's a distance away from my home location. I'm such a traveler so I'll be back around. read more

While I do use Yelp to make decisions on what restaurant or small business to visit, I do not normally write a review. But, this time, I just have to... Last Thursday, June 9, 2016, we were in the car talking about going to one of the orange or blue big-box hardware stores. But, as we mentioned it, we just happened to be approaching the new Ace Hardware store on PCH at Narbonne (across the street from CVS). And, thank goodness !! We stopped there and found out,... Ace really IS the place with the helpful hardware woman !! And, her name is Stephanie !! :) From start to finish, she helped me get my project started. She listened to my needs and was knowledgeable about their products. What more can you ask !! Obviously, we plan to return on a regular basis. read more

I had a custom screen made at Ace in West LA and it needed to be a tad shorter & narrower and Joshua at Ace Lomita was the kindest soul ever to fix it immediately after his shift ended. i love this store... i do some shopping for some arts and crafts that i love doing. i was having a problem finding something for a project i was doing. this young wonderful gentelman by the name Peter was a big help. since we couldnt find the right piece i was looking for, he suggested some great ideas and it worked perfectly. its always nice to know a man like him can be knowledgeable in home improvement all the way down to arts and crafts. also the cashier damon was great.. wonderful service.. thanks guys.. read more

We have an antique / used furniture store down the street and Ace has become the place for virtually all of our hardware etc. needs. This was my first visit to this new Ace Hardware store in Lomita. Stephanie, the Assistant Manager, provided terrific personal service helping me find the various items I needed, much appreciated! Looking around prior to departure, it appears this particular store is extremely well-stocked with attention paid to tidy displays of their merchandise. All in all, this Ace store appears to be superior than other hardware stores with far better service than found in the "big box" stores. Based on today's visit, this store is now my "go to" hardware store in time of need. read more

This location is clean, well organized and staffed by wonderful people. Not only have they assisted me in finding hard to find items but they truly care about the customer. I have been in there with my four year old and every visit after they remember her and ask how she is doing. They have helpful suggestions on how to do my projects in the most cost effective matter. Also they have really good prices on cleaning supplies. This is the place that is the place for helpful people, cleaning supplies, paint, gardening, tools and random household needs. My Dad's Ace used to be in Carson. He's gone, and so is Carson Ace. I like the "New" Ace. Still able to "find" someone to help you, but it's "younger". I was looking for paint for my teenage daughter. The Assistant Manager Stephanie helped us find the color, and showed us some Quality paints.
