I just got back from this business...I bought a wall mount for a monitor and stripped all the…read morescrews and needed help installing it on dry wall...I walked down to here since it's the only local hardware store we have. a little embarrassed having to admit I was having trouble with such a simple task...I was welcomed by the owner who gave me such welcoming and non judge-mental energy, he walked with me to the isles and listened and gave me the best affordable option...when we got to the register it was literally only $2 which I bring up because the gentleman truly treated me as if I was going to make a huge purchase...these types of businesses are going instinct and we need to protect and support them...I got home and installed it with such an ease compare to the trouble I had the night before simply from getting some re assurance from a pro ! ... honestly it was family vibes and that's priceless!!! By the way yes it's cash only with purchases under $5 or $10 but if you're complaining about that I can tell you don't support mom and pop shops because that's literally the standard!

So I was expected to sit in my car for 45 min and wait while the checkout gal let her friend come in w take out food, or drive all the way back in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. I normally shop there for items for home and recently bought a dead bolt for my front door. They…read moresold me the wrong item, requiring a key both inside and out. This is a very dangerous deadbolt since i can't get out without a key in my own place in an emergency. I want to replace it with another but they said they only sell one type. I asked to use their restroom and the cashier said it's only for customers. I am a customer. I found out later they had a change of ownership two years ago and the new management does not allow customers to use their rest room. I have never encountered any hardware store that does not have a restroom for customers. I think it's a big mistake for them to not allow a customer to n use the RM. i will never go recommend this store again. Keep your restroom to ourselves and in fact keep your merchandise to ourselves. I hope this Is not the policy of the new owner.

Absolutely disgraceful and unpatriotic display of American flags!…read moreI visited the garden section of the San Pedro Home Depot today and was shocked and offended to see dozens of packaged American flags stacked directly on the dirty concrete floor like cheap merchandise. These are symbols of our nation, not floor mats or clearance junk! The U.S. Flag Code clearly states that the flag should never touch the ground, yet here they are piled up in a dusty corner, completely disregarded. This level of disrespect is unacceptable from a major American company like Home Depot. It sends a terrible message about how little they value patriotism and the sacrifices made by our veterans and service members. Management clearly doesn't care, and the employees who set up this display should be ashamed. I won't be shopping here again until they issue a public apology and commit to treating the American flag with the respect it deserves. Do better, Home Depot. This is an embarrassment.

We contacted their head a guy called Charles Kubach. They sent us their catalog and we chose the items we liked. because these items require "manufacturing" we paid them a deposit in advance. 1.5 months later they contact us saying items are ready and we should pay the rest. We pay the rest and get the shipment only to find out after we received it that only one machine was made by them. The rest were generic machines made by other companies that they falsly advertise on their own and they sell them for double the price. We contacted them saying that this is false advertising (they advertised them as their own) and also the items received were not fully functional. Charles was extremely rude on the phone saying they were under no obligation to tell us the origin of the machine they send us (I buy an apple computer then realize later it is a chinese cheap fake), and also he said for the machines to work we need to pay one of his enginers to come fix them. If you are buying machine and engineering equipment stay away from this company. We are preparing a lawsuit now for the amount we paid + shipping both ways+ all fees associated and all damages. Most likely they will not last for long. So please buy from other companies and stay away from these people. What is even more troubling is that Charles Kubach (Manager) was insulting us over the phone and told us this is the way he does business and there is nothing else we can do. This company lives by scamming resellers and consumers mostly in other countries. here is what we bought: Catalog No: 010E-026 (F.C bond lab ball mill), we received a different model not like the one in the catalog and it was from BICO's company ( Different technical data). Catalog No: 0160A-001 (Standard Duty Magnetic Davis Tube Tester) came from Eriez Mfg company and it does nt function as described. Catalog No:050C-044 (Lab Concentrating Table) , we received the item but from Wilfley's Company and it does not work. Catalog No:050G-017 9''16" (Selective Mineral Jig) This one was fine and it was the only machine manufactured by them.

I received 4 baby plants as a party favor at a networking event I went to in San Pedro. I was a…read morelittle scared about caring for them since I never had plants before. Luckily I was told that they are low maintenance and dog friendly since I have a little fur baby at home. A bonus was that they are a family small business in the area so I definitely wanted to check them out. I received one baby that was in a tube of water that has not yet sprouted roots. I had no idea what to do with and I was able to consult with the staff via instagram and got guidance on when it was time to pot and how to properly care for it. My favorite baby is the heart leaf hoya and I recently noticed that it has outgrown it's little pot. I decided to take it in person to have it re-plotted. The store is a cute little plant boutique and I was greet by one of the owners. She took care an replotted my hoya and answered all of my questions as a novice plant mom. She even showed me examples of what my plants are gonna grow into be once they get bigger. I never once felt belittle for my lack of experience with plants. I hope to come back to get more plants once I get the hang of my current babies. I'll be sure to be back in the future with my questions.
