They also had Lowe's Professional Installation team, which is a 3rd party contract service provided by Seattle Blinds and they came out and did all the measurements prior to consultation and then once my products arrived at home, I just had to schedule them to come out and install them in. All payments done thru Lowe's and it was hassle-free for me. I like that Lowe's provide free consultation and estimates for various home improvements projects such as HVAC, plumbing that can be pricey, you can ask about different products and whether you feel their service price is high/average, it still gives you good starting point what to expect for estimate. Lastly, they have good selection of DIY projects tools here, so after you watch YouTube, you can browse here for tools in person instead of scrolling thru Amazon.

Bought a glass shower door to replace the old one. When I got home I opened the box and learned the entire frame was missing. Boxed it all up and returned it. After explaining what was missing, was asked for the receipt, then my drivers license again. Strange procedures, but maybe lots of illegal stuff happening. I'm thinking the boxed shower door was ordered by someone, they took the frame, and returned it to Home Depot, who placed it on the shelf for sale. Just a thought. Big waste of time for me.

I keep coming back and I don't know why. If you're only picking up one item, and have 30 minutes to stand in lines waiting for other people to get their crap together, then McLennans hardware is for you. As for me, I will take the extra 10 minutes instead of standing in line and drive to Home Depot or Lowe's.

I don't know who hired the security guard but he in no way should be communicating with the public. You can get farm supplies, dog toys, boots, tools, snacks, etc. Parking can be rough when it's a busy day, however, it doesn't seem to be as busy following the grand opening weekend. The staff is courteous, but not particularly helpful, so they get marked down for that. I walked past three staff members during my last trip, but none of them asked if I needed help. However, when I checked out, the cashier gave me a $10 off coupon. That was pretty nice!

We got a massive tree at a very reasonable price. Customer service was excellent and it had the same smell as the hardware store I used to go to for popcorn when I was a kid. The only down side, and it isn't much of one, is I wish they trimmed the tree when you bought it. When we got home we had to do a little snipping in our apartment to take care of stray branches. It is now, looking amazing and probably one of the best trees I have ever gotten . Thanks wilco!
