ZERO STARS. This is by far the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I fell for the drill bit scam like many others have. The bits weren't anything special, and way overpriced. Fair enough, they got one over on me. But now I'm dealing with a whole new version of hell with this company. Constant harassing phone calls, horribly rude salesmen, can't get off of their call list no matter how many times I ask. The sales people act nice while they are giving their sales pitch, but as soon as you turn them down they get super rude. One of the guys is so unprofessional, it's mind boggling to me that he even has a job. Opens with crude jokes (which might be funny in a casual setting between friends, but not on a sales call), won't let you get a word in edgeways, extremely pushy, shady about pricing, ect. On one occasion I was even called a "fu**ing loser" because I turned down whatever overpriced garbage he was trying to sell me that day. I've tried multiple times to be removed off of their call list, blocked their call numbers, even called their customer service in an attempt to speak to someone in a managerial position to try and stop the harassment. We just had our local sheriff come out because one of their "collectors" called us over 50 times in 45 minutes, the man on the line was cursing, yelling, screaming and refused to give us his name or number. Please save yourself the trouble and just say NO when they call... Wow, I am not sure where to begin. For a business that has been around for 35 years, I would struggle to see them in business much longer, they still work on old style pressure tactics for sales followed by underhanded collections that might have worked 20 yrs ago. I should have known better when they called. We agreed to try three of the cutting discs and if they didn't work out we wouldn't have to buy them. After one use, two of our departments said they were not worth it. Now granted I didn't call right away and let ACE know and that's on me. Do not answer their calls if they actually show up on caller ID. They are hard sell and continue to call. Ace Industrial called and offered a drill bit set at 299 dollars and some flap discs to try for free. I've paid close to that for good bits so I agreed. I received ONE 1/4" drill bit, 4 flap discs and two tiny sample spray lubricants. I assumed the single drill bit was a mistake so waited for the call to get my payment and it came today. She asked for my payment info and I told her I was confused because I received just one drill bit and four discs and she said...yes. It's 318 dollars. I verified, "For one drill bit and 4 flap discs?" She said the flap discs are free, the drill bit is 318.
