He also patiently worked with us to help decide which composite to use for the staircase surface. Wasili then send us a very fair bid. After he sent us photos of other houses for which he did similar work, we accepted his bid. Wasili came out to our house the very next day, dropping supplies off and starting demo. When he did that, he also went above and beyond. He suggested two upgrades to the work he bid on, offering for free to provide am additional cross-brace and to use composite for the risers as well. Naturally we accepted the upgrades. He got the work completed in 2 1/2 days. Everyone who's seen the work has complimented it. If we have future projects, we'll reach out to Vertex first.

The workmanship of the…read morefinished deck exceeded our expectations, and every person we encountered was pleasant to work with. Our project was the installation of an 8' x 11' elevated attached deck. I had whittled my initial list of contractors down to six before choosing All Decks. Cost was competitive but was not the lowest bid. This was the third deck in this location. The previous two were wood. This time we chose to have a composite deck installed, to not have a stairway, and to have the area underneath the deck protected from rain. As this was an elevated deck, it was covered by municipal code requirements more stringent than when the previous two decks were built. We worked with Adam during our initial contact, and in designing the deck. We chose Dekorator planking, Trex handrails, and the Trex RainEscape system. We wanted to minimize supporting posts, as a competing bid would have used 6 posts, and we had seen decks on houses like ours that had 5 to 6 posts. All Decks was able to use only 2 posts by having larger-size (6"x6") posts and by attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor. The All Decks showroom was extremely helpful in choosing materials and colors, and in evaluating the RainEscape system relative to alternative underdeck rain coverings. Kendall did thorough work when he visited to do the detailed yard survey required by code. The level of detail in the resulting documents was unexpected and illuminating. The three-man team led by Chris who put up the deck was professional and unobtrusive. A special challenge was attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor as the current municipal code requires an exceptionally robust connection. Installing this connection required removing several plank-and-tongue grooves from under the overhang of the cantilevered 2nd floor, which is very difficult without causing damage. I was skeptical that it could be done and was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent appearance of the re-installed planking. (As expected, I repainted the reinstalled planks myself.) As for the steel-bar-reinforced concrete footings, Chris meticulously set their height so as to enable the potential future installation of a ground-level deck made from pavers. The gentleman who delivered and picked up materials and the portable toilet was discreet and careful. Crystle ensured smooth communications for scheduling, billing, etc. We are very satisfied with the All Decks team and their work.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

Orca was NOT the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, they ended up being middle of the road. I decided to go with them because Chris was VERY THOROUGH and explained EVERYTHING to me. The crew came out and knocked it out of the park, literally took them 2.5 days and it was done. This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. The entire process took about 2 days and literally 3 days after they were done we had a crazy rain storm. Once again, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES. Here's why: - Vitaliy was exceptionally clear, punctual, and spoke in facts (he was not at all sales-y). - He did what he said he'd do (call me back, or prepare an estimate) when he said he'd do it. From the first interaction, it was clear he has high integrity. - Vitaliy noticed critical details (such as the fact that none of my windows had flashing!) that nobody else documented in quotes or discussed with me. - And, his responses to my questions were patient and thorough. Vitaliy helped me understand all the aspects of the project and design choices, which helped me feel confident and supported. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt. It is beautiful. They even noticed that the original staircase had a weird drop off from the interior floor and corrected that so there's now a seamless landing that is much safer and easier to use. The work Slavic and Alex did on this part of the build is as high quality as their siding work. - The work site was always SUPER tidy. Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. Review We had a…read moresection of rotten siding and a sill plate uncovered that was supporting our garage wall and potentially posed a structural concern, since the wall was also retaining part of the roof. The Rot Doctor did an excellent job from start to finish. They carefully removed the rotten siding, boards, and supports while temporarily supporting the wall, then installed a new pressure-treated sill, water-resistant siding, flashing, and belly band, with everything properly caulked and sealed. The workmanship was very high quality. All the cuts were precise, with clean lines, no gaps, and everything felt sturdy and well-built. They also went above and beyond by replacing and reinforcing some warped supports that weren't originally part of the scope. They were experienced and clearly knew how to approach the job, and they were great to work with throughout. Communication and customer service were excellent--we were able to discuss the work as it progressed and adjust the scope when needed. They were punctual, worked efficiently, and completed the entire job in just three days. The pricing was also competitive. Overall, we're very satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend The Rot Doctor.

I reached out on Yelp for a project regarding cost to vault a ceiling of a potential house I was considering to buy. Someone on the team said that they could come at 11am for a site visit. I asked once again on Yelp to confirm they were coming. I had heard that I would need advice from a structural engineer, and they said yes. Then, I called them directly again, to verify if the manager would be able to speak on the structural feasibility of the project. After calling the manager's number provided by the receptionist multiple times, there was no answer - maybe he was on the job. However, when my husband called AD Master again, he was able to reach someone and when he asked about the site visit, they said they didn't have our appointment on the books. We had to schedule once again on the phone. Long story short, someone did come (at 10am, not the agreed time) and they thought they were there for a deck repair. To be honest, he just seemed uncomfortable to have showed up to the wrong job site and didn't contribute much - no estimate of cost or work was shared by him. I liked the quality of work I saw on the photos, but would not likely hire them due to the poor communication so far. Edit response to AD Master: After speaking with your customer service agent, Viky, she shared that many of your employees do not speak English as a first language, causing the miscommunications. We had a fairly large project involving different fence types, four different gates, and also…read morelogistically difficult due to our hill and delicate plants. We worked with Jacob to make a plan and work out details and needs. Jacob assured us the plants would be avoided as best as possible, and went over what should be moved or tied back to help ensure they were protected. Inevitably a couple of plants were just too in the way, but overall the team took lots of care around them. There was a little delay with the posts we went with and Jacob communicated wonderfully about this, and worked to get us in immediately once the posts were finished with the fabricator. Cristian led the work crew and was an excellent communicator throughout. We ran into a couple of underground wires that were not properly marked by the marking company, he was extremely remorseful and one of the guys ran out to get parts immediately to put in a temporary fix. Again, this was not their fault, yet they took responsibility. The team worked hard for several days, always communicating what was happening. They were respectful, and not loud (except for power tools as needed).
