Had planned to move my daughter, with the help of a friend, into her new apartment on the 3rd floor. Was going to pick up a rental truck at noon. However, after lugging a few boxes we had brought in our personal vehicles up 3 flights of stairs, I realized we weren't up to the job. I had knee surgery about 2 weeks prior and my daughter is about as big as a minute. Several local movers had previously responded on Yelp to my request for a quote. Some were as high as $1100 even though we only had 2 bedroom suites, a sofa and two chairs and a few boxes. That was why we decided to do it ourselves. And most said they would not be able to help until next week. I reached out to Ace because of the tone of his reply when he asked for more details about what we needed moved. They just seemed like genuine people who wanted to help. The kicker was we needed help immediately. He asked me to give him some time to get a crew together. He did and was able to meet us at the storage facility and complete our move in about 3.5 hours. The price was just over $400 which was very reasonable for what they did. Well, that was me over the last week and of course, I was internally panicking at the thought of no availability last minute. LUCKILY, I stumbled across Ace Plus Services after getting quotes from multiple Houston-area moving companies! Andrew was super responsive even with me asking delayed questions on this app, and was super helpful in providing quotes quickly and validate what the services consisted of. He was able to get me booked quickly with the time-frame I wanted. Today, I moved and was pleasantly surprised with the help I received from Javy & Saul! They were quick to pack up their trailer (they bring literally everything.... furniture pads, dollies, saran wrap, etc.! A LIFE SAVER!) and were very friendly. I was a bit paranoid that items will get damaged after my last moving experience, but these two gentlemen got the job done with NOTHING damaged in-transit - woohoo! I'm retired military and have moved way more times than I can list and I have had a ton of experiences with movers. I contacted Andrew with a short-notice move for my college student who's attending A&M--he was super responsive, straight to the point and we established our goals with time and price quickly. He showed up on time, quickly reviewed the items, wrapped the things that needed it, and got it done in a very quick but professional manner. I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with ACE Plus Services. Andrew and Javi worked tirelessly to move the contents of my 4BR house to another city within TX. Javi did a great job of packing up the kitchen, closets, etc. as I live in LA. Their full service met all my needs and I cannot recommend them enough. Amazing crew!! My original movers cancelled on me 1 day before my appointment, and I had to scramble to find someone that could come through at the last minute. Ace Plus Services came out the next day (8:00 AM) with their own truck, tools, and equipment. Super cool guys with EXCEPTIONAL hustle/stamina, very respectful, and delicate with furniture.
