I was extremely happy with the service and the work they did on my front bumper. I had a huge dent in the drivers side and the front was bent. Gerson was friendly, helpful and got my car back a day earlier than expected for a good price (I had to get a whole new bumper). Three months later the bumper got torn off after attachment pieces broke off when it got stuck in a cement buckle and Gerson reattached it gratis. They also followed up immediately after my repair and offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off service. If you do need to rent a car - Hertz right door next them started at $20 a day. My insurance company actually referred me to go elsewhere however No Way, Not a Chance! I have had work done at Ace Tech previously and the work has always been/is meticulous. When you walk into the center Stephanie Meza, their very pretty receptionist and go-to girl is there warmly welcoming and seems to know instinctively how to calm any anxiousness. Diana Garcia, my service advisor is fabulous! She is diligent, knowledgeable and thorough. I walked away from my initial meeting with her extremely content that she would ensure that my precious classic Mercedes, "Chamois" would be handled with care and would be returned in perfect condition ~ and it was. My neighbor accidentally side swiped me and did some damage to my car. Her insurance company was Geico. I called in a claim and they asked me go to one of their special all-in-one centers where I could get an estimate, approval, rental car and body work all handled at one place. I was a little skeptical until I met the Service Manager Heras. He was so helpful and re-assuring. He really took care of me and gave me some great advice. The Geico agent was on time and quick which I really appreciated. And then he introduced me to Montana. Yes, that is his name, who got me into a rental car with Enterprise right while I waited. It was really a super hassle free experience. And then they did excellent work on my car. They even held onto my car for a couple of extra days while I was out of town. I had to get a dent removed from the quarter-panel of my nearly-new Mini Cooper. These guys are BMW certified, and were able to match the paint with the original colors that were used at the factory. Not only did they do a flawless repair job, they touched up some scratch spots on the door that I didn't even ask them to do, and detailed the car. This is a mercury insurance authorized repair center and the only reason why I brought my car here instead of to my regular mechanic. I needed to bring it in because someone stole the Catalytic Converter. The first red flag was when I brought the car in the sales rep Edwin walked me around the car and pointed out a bunch of old dents and scrapes and asked if I wanted to add those to the insurance claim. I told him that it was old damage. The rep didn't push the issue but it did make me question their ethics. They fixed the converter in 1 day but then said that the battery would not hold a charge and they submitted that to the insurance claim. But they pressured me to pay for this out of pocket. Sure the battery was old but it was working prior to the converter being stolen. It just didn't make sense that the battery would have died while in their shop. Finally once I got it cleared that the insurance would not cover the battery I decided not to have ace tech replaced the battery as I felt it was suspicious. My plan was if it needed to be replaced I would take it to my own mechanic. I let them know this and they told me what time to come in to pick up the car. When I arrived at the time they said the car was not ready and they also told me it was not holding a charge or turning on. I asked why they had me come in then and they said they did not know at the time. And they said I'd have to wait 20 minutes while the jumper recharged I said I had cables in the car that they could use instead. Once I had paid for the other work and came out the car was suddenly working again. I just found this whole business to be very fishy. Ha! I just parked at home and noticed the interior light was on in the back. *shakes head* read more

I was very satisfied with the service I received at ACE Tech! Edwin is so courteous, professional, and competent. He regularly communicated with me to keep me updated on the progress of the work on my car. Adriana (I think that's her name?) at the front desk is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. This is my second experience with AceTech. I worked with this guy named Heras this time and he was exceptional. Not only was he informative and a pleasure to work with, but he also let me know that I could have my deductible discounted. He saved me $250 out of pocket. I had pretty significant paint damage with minor dents. He told me that they could buffer out the paint for some of them and that move would save me my deductible. He did warn me that it might not be perfect, but if I didn't mind, it would at least save me that amount. I agreed to do it his way and save my money. He gave me a one week estimate, but as always, these guys get the job done pretty quickly. After four days, it was done, I got my car back and amazing. Heras showed me my car and let me know that it came out better than he expected. He was right. They did amazing work and they exceeded my expectations for a second time. Hopefully there won't be a third time, but if there is, these are my guys. read more

I recently got my BMW fixed at Ace Tech Collision Center suggested by a friend. Repairs got done quicker than I anticipated. When I got my car back, it looked as good as new, I was extremely happy with their final detail work, I could not tell any trace of damage. The car looked so much better than when I first got it, the people were very friendly and the manager who handled my repair was straight forward and honest. I thought the service was excellent !!! I went to this shop because it was close to my work, and Mercury Insurance insists on having all estimates done at their "designated" body shops. I rear ended someone on 6/3/13 in my BMW X5. I drove my car here on 6/4/13, and was given an estimate of $1100. I thought that was low, and I insisted they look deeper. Once they got my bumper off they found more damages...to the tune of $2300, stating I needed a new stabilizer bar and a new auxiliary fan. I still thought that was low, and questioned it again, but was told there was nothing else wrong. I paid my $1000 deductible, rented a car, and had the work done there as they already had my bumper and all kinds of other parts pulled. Fast forward to 8/30/13. I'm getting gas and a man comes up and tells me I am leaking antifreeze all over. I open my hood, and there is a crack in the radiator shroud, and of course my car started overheating right away. I towed the car to my mechanic (Auto Matters in Burbank. They're awesome!). He revealed to me that all of the radiator mounts were broken, the A/C condenser was hitting the radiator shroud, I had leaks in several places on the radiator. He then asked me if I had been in a wreck recently, as this damage could have only happened by some kind of impact. I explained that yes, 3 months previously. He noted that most of my car's mechanical damage was due to negligence from wherever I had my work done. It was quite obvious that the damage to the radiator was there, as Ace Tech replaced my fan, and had torn off all the old parts. Ace Tech would have seen this damage, but neglected to work on it. I was quoted nearly $1200 to fix the problems that Ace Tech should have fixed in the first place. Instead of being pissed off about it, I called Mercury Insurance. An investigator came to my mechanic, and ordered that Mercury will pay roughly $750 in additional damages for my car. I still have to pay $430 of my own money because I and the mechanic cannot prove that the water pump and thermostat were damaged in the wreck in June 2013. I asked the Mercury Insurance investigator what now happens to Ace Tech for being negligent and doing slipshod work. I was told NOTHING will be done, and Ace Tech will still continue to work with Mercury Insurance. So Ace Tech gets to screw over customers on a regular basis, knowing that there are no repercussions for lousy work and deceiving customers. You know, I accused the service writer of not doing all for my car that was necessary at the very beginning. I was assured over and over again that they repaired all my damages. Ace Tech lied and cheated, yet they still get to do business with all the insurance companies? Really? read more

Worst place ever!!!!! DON'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. they just buff and shine. My car was in for 8 days or so I had front end damage and I told them when I brought them the car that my Dad did auto body work ever since I can remember and that i know if a job is done right, also I had my Dad inspect it as well. I out of pocketed $1500.00 Lets list the items that needed attention to, again. My instrumentation panel was lit up like a christmas tree, the ac vent still broken, door molding not painted right, cracked head lamp housing, moisture in the other head lamp, the belly pan was never ordered or put on, after I told them i had to rip it off after the accident in order to make the car operable again. They used the same head lamps hence the cracked housing . Fog lamp didn't work, ac doesn't cool. The hood rubs against the bumper cover there should be a quarter of an inch space. wheel well cover missing screws so its hanging a bit. From a distance my car looks good but if you pay attention to details or me point things out you see the imperfections. Next time I will take it to the dealer. read more

Abraham from Ace Tech did a superb job fixing my car and dealing with the insurance company that was very difficult to work with. First off my car came back in a better condition than what it looked like before my accident, this is the second time I have gone there and they always do a great job fixing it. What made me realize just how great they were is how they dealt with the insurance company that was in charge for paying for the damages to my car. I originally went to another body shop that was very close to where I live, and they wanted to charge me and or the insurance company for charges that were not necessary. And because of that they did not know how to deal with the insurance company, saying that that the insurance company has a history of paying too low for the work and that I would have to get a lawyer and sue them- which they suggested one and after talking to the suggested lawyer he felt that I had no case and should pay whatever I can or else the work will not get done. When I went to Ace Tech for another quote to appease the insurance company Abraham assured me that he will take care of it and I will not have to pay for anything. 2 weeks later I got my car back and as mentioned earlier in a better condition than what my car looked like before the accident, and I did not have to pay a cent out of my pocket. It is not too often that you can find a body shop or mechanic that you can trust, but I am lucky to have found Ace Tech and highly recommend them to anyone who wants honest and good work done to their vehicle. read more

I got too close to a pole in my parking garage and messed up the door of my brand new acura. I decided to pay out of pocket instead of using insurance. But i did use the insurance company web site to get recommended body shops. (Disclosure: I work for an insurance company but I did not tell the body shops.) I went to two shops and got estimates at both. Ace Tech was bigger, cleaner, seemed more professionally run. Plus it came in with a lower estimate. They fixed the car as good as new. Matched the paint perfectly. And came in on the estimate, no hidden charges; and they were finished exactly when they said they would be. Manager Lance was polite and honest.
