Pretty surprised to see such bad reviews here as we had a great experience! We had a small get together for my fiancé's birthday with friends at our house and didn't want to have to cook for the group. My fiance has ordered from here in the past and had a good experience, so I decided to order here as well. You can place orders ahead of the time on their website but we were having service issues so we called and placed the order over the phone for two taco boxes. Service was friendly over the phone and at pickup, and the taco boxes are a crazy deal! For $50 you get a large side of rice, beans, and tortilla chips alongside 20 street tacos of your choice. One box we did all carne asada, and one box we did 10 chicken and 10 carnitas. I can't speak too much to authenticity, but I can say they were delicious and all our guests were happy with the food! Overall a steal for some good, simple party food and we'll most likely order from them again in the future.

The food here can be a hit or miss. The drive thru employees are always friendly. The beans are either really good or really dry. It costs too much for me to take a gamble on whether it is going to be good or not.

The restaurant is located conveniently along Meridian. Portion sizes are very small compared to similar places. No limes, just onions and cilantro with much smaller tortillas. Window person was nice. Food was very bland, not much flavor

Service was very polite, friendly and helpful. The food was so good and we will definitely be returning. Large restaurant quality for reasonable prices.

I've heard of this restaurant from the Orting location bit had never had their food. Today I was in the area and decided to go through their drive thru and order some dinner. I got their special fries with carne asada, 5 tacos de lengua and a quesadilla. Total was around $34 and it took a while so I figured it would be fresh. I have to admit the bag they handed me surprised me because it seemed...small. I get home and am surprised by the small size of the tacos and how scarce the fries look. I am basing this on other places like Antojitos, Los Amigos and El Rinconcito. Those are all infinitely better. Better taste, bigger portions, more quantity for $ etc. My husband loves lengua and he had to ask what meat it was because it was so dry. My fries were seasoned, salty and devoid of any other ingredients besides crumbly meat and some squirts of sour cream and a scoop of avocado smash. The quesadilla was bland. Honestly forgettable and disappointing. Worker at the window was very nice and polite so there are your two stars. Big meh.

The food needs major improvement. I enjoy Mexican food and would not recommend this place. Canned dog food has better texture and flavor. Not joking , not real meat or if it was it was dehydrated and water must've been added. But place is very clean very and staff is not bad. Brought this up to the staff and they replaced it with chicken and pork with no issues. I wasn't even looking for a replacement or a refund. Just asked if it was dehydrated near or not.

    2 Super Nachos

Paid 30 dollars for 2 super nachos. Bag was 1 pound and 3 ounces. Not worth it! Food wasn't fresh either. Take the drive out to Memo's.

Very bland no flavor, if you get a burrito it will be mostly rice and beans lite on the meat.

Between me & my girl we tried a bunch of different things -- the Texas smoked sausage, guacamole, arroz de la casa, esquite, quesadillas, fish tacos, the 8 oz filet mignon, and the American wagyu burger. Honestly there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The filet was cooked perfectly & came out on a hot plate. It will continue to cook if you leave it on the plate but they disclose that & give you an extra plate to transfer it to (some people complain about their steak being overcooked but in my opinion that's their own fault lol). The esquite and arroz de la casa were amazing, I'll order both sides every time I come back. Overall it was just a really solid meal. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're in the Sumner area.

I saw the large white truck outside the corner grocery gas mart and swooped in to try it on a whim. I ordered 3 tacos: asada, pollo and carnitas. Delicious!!!! My husband and I both got the birria tacos with consome, a side of rice and beans, and guacamole. Everything was packaged up well and was still warm considering it's kind of far from us. Only bummer was that they didn't send along our side of chips & guac. :( The tacos themselves are pretty dang big, and with us each getting two, it was a lot of food. Overall I thought they were really good, but the downside was that we got a lottt of fatty, squishy meat in our tacos which really grosses me out. The parts that weren't super fatty were delicious though!! The consomé was also absolutely fire and I definitely straight up just drank some of it - zero shame. Rice and beans were tasty, but that's hard to mess up. We also really enjoyed the salsas they provided - they both had a good kick that wasn't painful and the flavor was on point. I personally loved the green one the most! Their little food truck setup looks super cute and I definitely want to visit in person to give the tacos a second chance.

Bottom Line Up Front...One star for the cleanliness, easy parking and the thoughtful decor. Steven missed on this one big time. The fact that they didn't have customers when he visited them could have been one of three issues (food quality, poor service, inflated prices). In my case, it was all 3. There were older white folks who saw Steven's article and did mention it to the wait staff. Some of those tables received chips and salsa, most didn't, not sure what goes into their criteria for who gets it and who doesn't. I chitchatted with the wait staff and asked them their specials and what they would want me to tell the Yelpers about them. They wanted me to give the community my honest opinion and said their best sellers are the Quesabirria and ramen (what what?) . Well we decided on neither of those and ordered the $17.95 Chicken Enchilada mole and the $12.90 Chicken Mulitas (each $6.45, staff did not ask if I wanted one or two). To be brutally honest...the Enchiladas were "lean" & dreadful. The mole sauce tasted like mud. The rice and beans was barely palatable (La Preferida from Safeway might have been better!). The Mulitas was ok but not something that I would miss. The red and green salsa from those plastic bottles was salty...as were all of the dishes...saltier... The plates were small, the price tag was hefty, paid extra for mole sauce (this was NOT a side order but something that is supposed to be the core dish sauce), extra for credit card use (3%). Nickel and diming...what next...clean your own table... quarter for restroom use! Of course, none of these upcharges were mentioned or listed anywhere that I could see... Service was just ok...they didn't talk about any specials or drinks...so we didn't order one. And the biggest kicker...no complimentary chips and salsa unlike those other hardworking Mexican joints awaiting your business. There was no hook; all sinker...Somehow, they think of themselves as "Cactus" but lack the basics of competing for your business. I ended up with an upset stomach later that evening. Don't take my word only...read the other reviewers observations in a bit more detail while ignoring the stars and judge for yourself. Sorry if my review sounds too brutal, which I hate to do knowing how hard it is to run a restaurant. I greatly respect the hard working folks in the restaurant industry.
