The food was actually good, but we will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! EVER!!. Ate here on Saturday afternoon at 230pm. Sat near a large group who were incredibly loud, and very clearly drunk (based on all the empty beer and shot glasses at the table.) At least several dozen times we were subjected to hearing a barrage of swearing (F*ck, sh!t, etc.,), listening to the group yelling about sexually explicit things, using words like "p*ssy," and "f*cking" etc., all in the earshot of several families. One woman looked over to me clearly angry, and said how the group had been acting like that the entire time they had been eating and she was shocked nobody from management or waitstaff had said anything to the loud group. One family near the group had three small children who obviously could hear the cursing and sexually explicit subject matter but were trying to ignore it. I asked to speak to the manager to express my concerns of their language and being over served alcohol, however the manager simply responded, " I can't control what they say, I'm not going to ask them to leave." He showed no acknowledgment of their out of control behavior or that the group was being over served alcohol. During our meal, we watched their waitress continue to repeatedly serve the group beer and other mixed drinks, even though they were already slurrying their speech, and clearly intoxicated. One of the men at the table, also slurring his speech, stumbling and talking loudly, left Ace's when he got into his car and drove away! When we paid our bill, we also relayed our concerns to the waitress how the group was being over served and what an unpleasant experience it had been due to this group's out of control behavior and offensive language, the waitress wouldn't even look at us and stated, "I'm not involved in this and they're regulars here." I'm shocked at the lack of care the management and waitstaff showed for the law when it comes to over serving alcohol and for the public's safety. They were so dismissive with their attitudes that I would suspect this is NOT the first time this type of scenario has happened at Ace's. It's despicable that Ace's prioritizes their "regulars" desire to get drunk in the middle of the day, over the safety of this community. They knowingly serve alcohol to excess resulting in their patrons driving drunk when they leave Ace's endangering everyone in our community. They will NEVER get our business again. I refuse to support a business with ZERO moral or legal conscience. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this and encourage them to eat elsewhere. Shameful. read more

The food and service was very good. Had the club sandwich and it was very good and huge. This thing had a mountain of meat on it. Would definitely have it again. Our server was very friendly and food came out quick. This place has greatly improved in all areas and we don't hesitate to go there anymore. read more

Another off the beaten path visit while in Superior provided a good meal and ambiance. This sports bar offers a good variety of food and drinks. It looks much smaller than it is, so if the decent size parking lot is full, still stop as there were plenty of space for our family to sit immediately. There isn't a sign that says such but you seat yourself. The service was efficient even though they were pretty busy. The food was enjoyable and not too highly priced. I have been to Aces several times over the years, it used to be a regular spot. Unfortunately over the last few years the service has become unbearable. Today was the last time I will visit. My family and I sat ourselves, and waited for over 15 min for service, servers very aware we were there, and blatantly ignoring us. At least acknowledge you have a new table and let them know you'll be with them when you can. read more

I think this place is great. No one here commits hate crimes. Plus I'm gay, so I would know. I know a guy named Mark O and he is weird. One time, he said the N word. Hard R. I totally heard him. Also, I think he has a MAGA hat. I cannot be sure. But I think so. I probably wouldn't trust him. I like the salmon. read more

Terrible service, very hard to get a hold of your server let alone a drink. When you walk in if it says please seat yourself, be ready to wait a good 20 minutes. When I sat down, I saw three servers standing around the bar while a customer who was ready to leave was actually raising his hand trying to get his bill. Though the service isn't great, the food is good and a popular spot on volleyball nights. The atmosphere is really cool with old looking pictures and good lighting. Large gathering for which there wasn't proper staffing. Orders were forgotten and then what was served wasn't what was ordered. The food all tasted like it came out of the freezer then heated in the microwave. Will never come again. read more

The staff was super friendly and attentive even with the volleyball games going strong. I ordered a burger and it was fantastic! Cooked just the way I liked it and the flavor combinations were phenomenal. Their sweet potato fries are a nice addition to the burger. Went for lunch the other day. Had a burger that was dry and bland. Was supposed to have bacon on it, but they forgot. At least the waitress took a couple bucks off the bill. She also messed up my drink order. She was not very attentive. Wasn't terribly busy either. Somewhat of a hidden treasure! Menu is rather limited, but food is great. Chicken wings are the best in town and if you order the nachos you better be ready to share! We had a group of 4 eat and all their food was mediocre. 3 of us had burgers that were over done, bacon burnt, fried onions that were black and hard, cheap Burger King buns, and fries that were soggy and old. The other person had a chicken wrap that was deep fried chicken strips cut and put into a wrap with a bad attempt at buffalo sauce. The service was basic and the atmosphere was mainly a sports bar in Superior. I wouldn't recommend eating at Ace's at all. read more

Went to this restaurant for Sunday morning breakfast, sat down for 20 mins until we were asked if we wanted drinks, then we were told it would be another 30 mins at least if we were going to order food. It appeared to be 1-2 waitresses working and only about 10-15 patrons. Horrible service, disappointing trip. We ended up going elsewhere. read more

I have been here twice neither time was what one might call enjoyable, drinks take about 10 minutes to get to the table, then the server takes another 10 minutes to comeback and take your order, then another 20 to 30 minutes for food (burgers both times). The food does taste good i'm not saying the food is bad if you get what you actually ordered. But if its not what you ordered then it will be cold by the time the server comes to check on you in 20 minutes. By which time the server will say "well you should have hunted me down." As a server I can tell you those words should never be said and that I understand being busy but 5 tables should not be considered by any server ever. read more

Went there last night for drinks and supper. Charlie did an excellant job on our food, adding his special touch to the meats flavor and the potatoes. I meet the new manager a couple weeks ago and he had some great ideas and samples an excellent beef product for the menu that he brought with him. He had a cool idea of a wine and beer night. A week later he was gone. I guess the stupid owners drove out a good manager. I will go to where ever he ends up and pull everyone I can out of this dump with me. Did anyone catch his name? I think he came from SD or ND? If this place thinks the "Char" burger is so great they have not been up the road to the Anchor Bar. read more
