I have been trying to find the best breakfast burrito in the IE, and after reading so many Reddit comments hyping this place up, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the all meat breakfast burrito with chorizo, sausage, and bacon. The wait was not long, which I appreciated, and I was really looking forward to the handmade flour tortillas. Since it was a bit of a drive for me, I ate it in my car in the parking lot so I could try it fresh. The burrito is huge, but they only give you two small containers of salsa, which is not nearly enough for something that size. The tortilla itself was really good. That might have been my favorite part. The burrito overall just did not hit for me. The chorizo flavor overpowered everything else, so it was hard to taste the sausage or bacon. Texture wise, everything leaned very soft and kind of blended together. The crispy bacon helped break that up a little, but I wish there was more contrast instead of everything being the same consistency. Well again I decided to stop in Acevedo's Market in Fontana, due to coming across a Video from the Foodie guy Joel Greene from the Inland Empire. I have not been here in years, even though I pass by it almost every day as I go to and from work. I used to go to Acevedo's on a regular basis before work many many years ago. I don't really know why I stopped going there. I would always stop and pick up a couple of Chile Verde Burrito's for me and my Boss. One big Burrito Filled with lots of big chunks of tender Pork and Green Sauce. Today I stopped in and got me the All-Meat Breakfast Burrito. Never had their Breakfast Burrito before today. Filled with plenty of Eggs, Bean, Chorizo, Cheese, Bacon, Sausage, Hash Browns. Let me tell you this Burrito didn't Disappoint. Very Filling. Looks like I will have to get back into my routine of stopping by Acevedo's more often. Funny thing driving by it you would not realize what a Nice little store is hiding inside this small Building. Unfortunately, I JUST went here for the last time. My dad found this place back in 1986. Since then it's gone through various owners but the burritos have always been spot on. Throughout the changes, all the ladies who work in the kitchen have always been so nice! Until now. They are so unpleasant. As they made my order they were talking amongst themselves and laughing in my direction. Was it about me? Idk. When one of them took my order, she was rushing me. I tried to tell her slowly to give her time to write but she just kept asking is that it? Is that it? So I just told her everything. Then as they were making them, she had to ask about one of the burritos to make sure she got it right (she didn't). Go figure. Then, as one of them gave me my food, another one was just staring at me. So I was a bit petty and stared right back. I should have told the guy who mans the register as he might be the owner but I hadn't made my mind up if I would return despite their attitude. I was worried they would do something to my food next time. I wouldn't put it past them. If the owner sees this, maybe have the ladies at least fake that they're nice. I won't be returning here again, which probably doesn't matter to them. But considering my family has been going here since '86, it's heartbreaking to me. I'll miss the burritos !
