This review is long overdue, but I love this place! I live in Santa Rosa and work in Rohnert Park, so it's super convenient that they have multiple locations. I come here regularly because the food quality is consistently great. They have so many options, everything tastes fresh, and their ranch is amazing. I always get the double turkey burger -- one is definitely enough, especially if it's a double. It's always super juicy and satisfying. The garlic fries are also so good and pair perfectly with it. My boyfriend has gotten the ahi tuna burger, and it's amazing -- really fresh for fish, and he loves it every time. They also sell beer, and the service is always fast, which is a big plus. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but honestly it's worth it. I keep coming back because they never disappoint. Highly recommend! read more

I was told by a friend to try their seasonal strawberry milkshake that uses strawberries from the local L&N stand here in Santa Rosa and it did not disappoint! We usually go to Acme Burger in Cotati, and we love it! We have been going there since the day they opened, so our expectations were pretty high, and the Santa Rosa location did not disappoint! The food was delicious. I got a Sonoma Mountain beef company burger with pepper jack, raw onion, and mushrooms, plus a side of coleslaw. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. Absolutely amazing! My husband's sweet potato fries were also outstanding. Everything was worth the price, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food came out quickly. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, was clean. You can tell the staff really takes care of the place. We came as a group of four, and it was our friends' first time dining at Acme. First time at the new location in Santa Rosa on Yulupa ave. I asked our greeter that the team was good. She said amazing. It is cooked perfectly rare So I ordered the ahi tuna It was not cooked rare. It was way overcooked. It was more on the medium side. Not med rare, medium way over cooked Great flavor but bummed !!!! Just cannot stand overcooked fish. It was dry and chewy. Love this spot, the burgers are juicy, the fried chicken is crispy and delicious in a sandwich or on a salad. The Chocolate shakes are to die for! The service is friendly and fast. The manager was nice enough to notice my military ID when I was paying and made sure I knew about their 10% military discount. The beers are not over priced & there's a Happy Hour on Beer & Wine from 4-6pm ($2 off). The Cajun fries are fire & the Garlic fries are perfect and still crunchy. I really, really want to like this place, but you guys make it hard... my burger isn't cooked, it's cremated! Pretty dry, but very greasy, you can see all the grease in my picture. It glows. More lettuce than hamburger & the tomato is sliced thinner than a finger nail. The fries look great, but think they were cooked in borderline "old" grease that needs to be replaced. Not a very good flavor. On an up note... I got the Lunch Special, good price. My drink, Raspberry Ice Tea was ok, and everyone that works here is very pleasant and accommodating. The Acme Burger was delicious, the patty had a lot of juice and was so flavorful. (Ask for that awesome sauce to put on it!) The onion rings were my favorite! So crispy and delicious. Chili cheese fries were good but not my favorite. I'd go without it next time. The fish and chips were also surprisingly good. The fish had a calamari like battering and the fish was so delicious. The environment of the restaurant itself is laid-back and has plenty of seating. We tend to do more takeout than eat in. The menu is very fun and diverse. Most burger joints are generally fairly one note. Acme offers: grass fed burgers, turkey, tuna, Beyond burger and fried chicken sandwich. They also do pulled pork, fried fish and other lovely mains. For me, their stand out side options are the biggest reason we go there. Fried in rice bran oil, giving them a totally lighter texture and crispy! All of the tots are handmade, not frozen. You can totally tell the difference. Their onion rings are very good and their barbecue sauce is pretty fantastic! Overall, their food is just simply delicious and feels less processed. read more

Everyone always likes acme burger because of their burgers but their chicken Sando's are amazing. I think they're probably the best ones around town. The spicy chicken sandwhich is so flavorful. It's legit my fave. Also their Carmel milkshake is amazing as well!!! Definitely try it. I like that after eating here you don't feel like you're in a food coma like at some other burger spots. Everything here is fresh and it shows because you can still function after eating here. Service is spot on, the staff are super nice and accommodating. The actual restaurant is mellow and has a bunch of random posters everywhere which I personally enjoy. I normally have pictures for my reviews however I always eat my food too fast here and forget. I think these are some of the best burgers in town! I went strictly with the Acme Burger, and it was delicious. Moist inside, not greasy, great toppings and a very fresh bun. Next time I will try the Ahi burger, as I am not so much a meat eater anymore, but I just had to try this beef burger here! Now I know to come back and try other items. The burgers are quite good, the shoestring fries are delicious, but for me what really sets this place apart is the self serve pickles!! I eat them until my mouth hurts. I knew instantly the food was going to be great. The chicken breast was hand breaded, tender and juicy. The amount of heat given off by the chicken was just right.
