I wouldn't let these guys install a battery in my smoke detector! They quoted me $250 for a semi-complex install and was told it would take approximately 2.5 hours. What did took 20 minutes. They wired red and a ground and that's it. They returned 80% of the installation wiring leaving the job 80% undone. Most of the functions of my installation were never completed or even attempted. They do not have skill set to do much more than change a light bulb if even that. They have made no attempt to rectify the joke of an installation or refund my money. They give mom and pop shops a bad name; STEER CLEAR! A 5 year old could do a better job! In response to your lame response, NO!!! The backlight function that should work when the car is on, using low or high beams was not installed or functioning. Not really sure what the installer has 25 years of experience in but certainly not what the job requires. Since your joke of attempt to perform the required services I've received consultation and quotes from reputable installers, they are surprised you're still in business. Zero stars. The quality of service was horrible. Took car and was told it would take 3-4 hours to install new stereo and subwoofer. After 7 hours I was told they couldn't connect due to a problem with a battery. Returned the next day after fixing the problem with the battery to be told, "I'll see what I can do for you". Underqualified employee could not do the work but one of the owners also wasn't sure if he could complete simple connexon. read more

I am disappointed in the installation quality of a Blackvue Dashcam. Setting aside the misinformation from the owner Jeff Carmona, the half-hearted (a--) installation is NOT acceptable. If you have a nice car and expect proper care and a clean installation - you won't find it here. I discussed where and how I would like the installation. Jeff doesn't care what the customer asks for. He does what is easiest, never called to discuss making changes. He damaged the headline and didn't even clean the dirt they left incl. headliner. He had the car for more than 5 hours. His estimate bring it in at 10am - give me two hours. I picked up the car after 3PM. He charged a premium price to install ($200) $420 camera and provided a low level poor job. Never take a nice car to this schlock house. You will regret it. The power supply was placed in the passenger foot area where it would be stepped on, kicked and dislodged. I made him change it before I left the shop. The wires to the camera were left hanging instead of neatly tucked into the guides provided in the box by the manufacture. They damaged the headliner which cost more to replace than the cost of install. I had an important appointment and did not have any more time to waste with this frustrating owner who has nothing but excuses, not responsibility, and no accountability of a professional - which he is not, and neither are his installers. If you care about a clean and professional installation- Don't trust this shop. read more

Absolutely do not take take you vehicle to this shop... My new vehicle holes drilled in trim pieces after I specifically told them not to before install ($450) to get replaced. Two major stock functions of my vehicle not working ( dealer repair $$???) can't get in yet. Sub box does not fit!! Seats sit on speaker!!! REALLY. Spending 2k more to have another shop fix... ok the last one, I requested a ground from the battery not the frame, was told yes that's what was done.... NOPE grounded to my aluminum body.. Absolutely terrible customer service , Jeff can barely move and just sits down behind a counter , they messed up my vehicle and refuse to correct the issue . I am convinced the man has no idea what he is doing what so ever. Upon closer inspection of the facility it looks like a big shop but don't be fooled. The large indoor shop is for the 4 Wheeler Shop in back. His people work all the way in the back under an exposed canopy so cars are never indoors. I could go on but won't. Just please read all the post because this guy can't be trusted. Went to big electronics store (I won't say which one because it wasn't their fault, just an incompetent technician) to get a viper remote start system installed, was done incorrectly so I headed to Precision. Good customer service; explained the issue to me and didn't talk down to me for being a woman (major points in my book!) there was a small delay but the actual service was very quick and Jeff made sure I was comfortable while I waited. My only complaint is that it's not the cleanest place. But I'm sure most ppl drop off their cars instead of waiting. Bottom line: fixed my problem for a very fair price. read more

My husband took his vehicle to check his radio speakers and was told he needed a new amplifier. Once it was installed my husband noticed that the pink wires were hanging over and the amplifier was not bolted. He was not happy with the work that was done he called Jeff and he said to bring it back. When he did they only fixed one speaker he was very unsatisfied with their work and will not go back. This place has gone downhill would not recommend it to anyone. We called Desire Audio who had to rewire the speakers n bolt down the amplifier. $150 later to fix the mess that Precision Auto Sound did. read more

Most recently as to come to my home and pick up truck and keep it until it was right. There is no one in valley that can come close to the "Precision" work he and his crew strive to preform on a daily basis. Trust me I dont waste my time writing testimonials for anyone. He gave us a great price on it too and the finally price even came up less than he quoted. He even gave us a large package of locally grown dates, which are normally very expensive. Jeff at Precision AutoSound is a liar. He gave me a price to install a 5-speaker complete sound system into my Can-Am Maverick x3 Max of $300 plus his "cost" for equipment of $2500. Then I asked him if he'd install my equipment for the same price. He said he'd have to charge $340 labor to install my equipment IF the equipment was custom made for my ride-if not he'd charge more to customize it. I purchased a fully customized 5-speaker sound system with custom harnesses, wiring, fuses and amps-to fit my ride exactly-no modifications necessary- basically plug n play. Called and made the appointment with Jeff and gave him the full specs. On THE DAY of my appointment he called and said that his charge was going to be $600 and he wouldn't be able to get it done the same day, like he originally said he could. When I reminded him of what he quoted me, he said "things change"- no other explanation. Bottom line is he knew I wanted it done and he THOUGHT he was talking to a sucker. Joke's on this creep, he's not the only game in town. He just lost a very loyal client for good. Don't mess with this place-even once. Find ANYONE else. Save yourself from dealing with a rude liar who thinks he's the best in his field-he's definitely not. They called us letting us know that forgot some items there at their shop for the boat. Thank God for the call. BADDD DIRTY BUSINESS!!!! I own a Plumbing Business W. 6 custom trucks, we stand behind our work, medium priced, Reliable & Honest. We Had Jeff the owner way over charge me, give me the run around for a system w alarm, blue tooth, remote start, back-up camera & touch screen radio, I had to bring it back 7 times, the only thing that worked was the radio, he has no problem at all wasting your time or us paying our guy to wait 3-4 hours at a time. After so many excuses & wasting our time, told him how bad of a business man he is & how good reputable companies get a bad rap because of guys like him, he handed me the keys & walked away into his office & left us hanging big time. We paid him $1900. For this system "Them same one you can get installed @ best buy for $1,100. @ least there's accountability @ best buy. I just paid Mark @ Vessco $645. To fix everything, I can give a whole list of what they did wrong, I'll just say this 1 thing "don't run the RC CABLES FOR THE BACK UP CAMERA ALONG THE EXHAUST PIPE!!", Completely Melted cables-no signal. I also paid an additional $270. 2 weeks ago to my mechanic because the kill switch wouldn't deactivate. Wow !, an $1,100. System cost me $2,815. Plus man hrs. & loss of work opportunity. I hired Jeff and his guys to come out to my RV at MCCC to remove my Pioneer NAV/Radio system that went bad and replace it with a Pioneer Radio/DVD/Sat Radio system. They arrived on time, worked through some issues connecting the new system up and completed as scheduled. Unfortunately Pioneer did not include the plastic molding that goes around the outside of the unit and hides the metal bracket. Jeff had his guys fabricate one up and complete a professional job. That is the true test of a great company, How do they handle problems when things go wrong, and in this case they did it right. read more

Recently bought a used car and it had a bad CD player in it. Every time I turned on or off the engine the CD player would go through gymnastics trying to locate the CD. It was very annoying and loud, but my main concern was that it would run down the battery because it would continue to search after the motor was turned off. Auto Zone recommended a stereo shop in Cathedral City, so I took it there. I told them I simply wanted it disconnected, for now. After they took a look at it I was given a quote of $45 to disconnect it because it would take at least 30 minutes of labor. I thought this was a high price to disconnect a wire or two. Went online and found Precision Autosound, and am I glad I did. The owner told me to bring it in and he would help me. I found the owner to be polite, professional and friendly. He took my car around back and 5 minutes later brought it back. Problem Solved! He charged me NOTHING! Service extraordinaire.
