The food is excellent and reasonably priced, staff is friendly and very nice. I came on a rainy day so I couldn't eat the food here but taking it home didn't ruin the freshness or the quality. The Burger: The bottom bun of the burger did get a little soggy but I mean come on that only happens to food cooked extremely well. The patty tastes like it has a blend of chorizo and kinda like a frita and the sauces are an extra explosion of flavor followed by the sweetness of the maduros. I got it with the yuca fries which I've never had before and are really really good. They're crispy on the outside but super soft and fluffy on the inside. They pair the yuca fries with a side of cilantro sauce that's delicious. 10/10 Tostone Relleno: I wanted to try the pork tostones but my wife isn't a fan of pork so we got chicken instead and let me say I was not disappointed. The tostones were crispy and the chicken on top was nicely shredded with sauce and an Avacado. 8/10 If you're in the area looking for a food truck spot and it's too late to go to Sergio's or Casavana this is definitely a 9/10 spot to try. I have to try the rest of the menu to give it the 10/10 that i feel like it deserves but so far so great!

What a gem!!! We actually stumbled upon this by accident, best accident ever! We were at first discouraged by the location as it's in the middle of a trailer park, but decided to give it a go since we were there. Once you enter the premise of the food truck, you wouldn't even notice the area you are in. The food truck is in a secluded area and has a nice seating area with chickens roaming around the place. The food is some of the best Cuban food I've had. I had the Birria taco (lamb tacos with dip) and other people in my group had the fish tacos, plantains, Cuban burrito, conch fritters, and yuca fries. Everything was amazing, perfection I dare say as everything was stellar and no negatives, and made to order, which is why it took about 15-20 minutes for our food but was absolutely worth the wait. This place is newer and is opened by a husband and wife team. They were super nice and we had a good chat with the husband, Otto. Definitely check this place out, we would absolutely go back to try other things as they have an extensive menu and good variety!

Has a weird location but great food! The pork tostones were great, loved the sauce it came with on top! The chicken burrito was good as well I just personally didn't like the salsas that came with it.

Ever since I tried their steak Caesar salad I've been obsessed. That was my usual from there for 5 years. 2 nights ago we ordered from uptown and when we got our order I was so angry I didn't want to even eat my food. 1. Steak literally looked like wet dog food 2. They no longer do the frisée salad instead It's just plain old Romaine lettuce 3. For some reason they stopped giving their salsa now which was the highlight of my order 4. The container is so small and the egg was so hot that it melted all the Parmesan cheese and it was just a nasty glob 5. The eggs were so over boiled that they had that grey tint on the yolk and smelled horrible 6. 2 salads cost almost $50 so jokes on us Never again!!! I've literally banned uptown from our house. The audacity to charge so much for a mid salad topped with nasty dog food looking "steak"

We are very disappointed that the chicken and steak burritos were not seasoned very well (bland) and both were so dry. I couldn't even taste any cheese in the chicken burrito either. I took a few bites and had to give the rest to our dogs. What a shame. My daughter couldn't finish her burrito either. I tasted her steak burrito and it didn't taste like any steak that I have ever tried. So disappointing. The guac and chips were good but they were like a little side dish. So, there went a wasted $50 for lunch. We were still hungry. Since it was a to-go order, we didn't feel like going back all that way again. It was a very hot day. Service was strange. I sat in the car but my daughter went up to the counter to pick up our order. She stood there for a long time in the hot sun and no one helped her. There was a bag sitting on the counter already. Finally when she was helped, the guy said that the bag sitting there was ours!! She was highly irritated fir the poor service. He should have checked to see if his customer was there to pick up the only bag on the counter. In retrospect, we should have tasted our burritos before driving home to taste them but we trusted them. Sorry to say, we won't be going back.

My dinner plans changed last minute due to the weather, which was heavily raining and decided on Lolita despite not having reservations. Upon arrival we were instructed to go upstairs where the very young and inexperienced host could not figure out the system and said sorry there was no availability to accommodate us. We left disappointed and while going downstairs I decided to pull uo their booking site to confirm availability. The system reflected several available time slots for dinner. Kudos to the downstairs host that accommodated us immediately once I showed her the system reflected availability. The servers were truly incredible downstairs and I appreciate the very attentive and charming service provided throughout the evening! I ordered a beet salad which was almost perfect but was lacking feta or goat cheese which I highly recommend they consider having in the kitchen. The oxtails tacos were delicious and very filing. I also enjoyed the brown dessert. Thank you for a yummy evening with fantastic service!
