I do not normally leave negative reviews, but after this experience I feel others should be aware before spending their money here. I visited Acqua Nail Salon on 6/9/26 and paid $60 for a black and red cat-eye no-chip manicure. Initially, I was pleased with how my nails looked, but within two days (6/11/26) the polish began peeling off. Unfortunately, I had dinner reservations that evening and could not return to the salon. I went back on 6/13/26, which was my birthday, to have the peeling polish corrected. Later that same day, after simply putting my hand into my back pocket, the polish peeled again. The manicure looked terrible. I returned a third time on 6/16/26, and a different technician repaired the nails. Now, on 6/18/26, the polish has peeled yet again. I have been getting no-chip manicures for years and have never experienced anything like this. The issue wasn't just one bad nail--it was repeated failures requiring multiple correction visits. What makes this even more frustrating is that the salon is approximately 30 minutes from my home. I only chose this location because I was already in the area returning Amazon purchases at Whole Foods. Between the original appointment and two correction visits, I have spent far more time and gas than should be required for a basic no-chip manicure. Today I called and requested a refund because I now need to pay another salon to completely redo my nails. I was told refunds are not given due to salon policy. However, I did not see any posted or documented no-refund policy in the salon. At this point, I have made every reasonable effort to allow the salon to correct the problem, and the manicure continues to fail. I will not be returning, nor can I recommend this business to others. If you choose to come here, be aware that if your nails have issues, you may find yourself making multiple trips for repairs or paying another salon to fix them, while receiving no refund. read more

I was a walk in late in the evening, I got seated right away, things were clean, people were ok. FF to pedi I requested no polish so it would be quick, too quick as it turns out, my toenails were trimmed straight across so basically I had claws on each side of the nails, then my heels were no smoother than what I can do myself!! So disappointed. Almost forgot the guy cut my toe also , probably because he was paying attention to the conversation going on instead of what he was getting paid to do. read more

Customer service is lacking. Owner is rude and has a bad attitude. I understand owning a business is challenging but the fact is building relationships and having great customer service is needed to have a successful business. Typically a full house is a great sign but this shop most definitely gave me mixed signals. Walking in one of the nail techs bumped right into me and kept going without the common courtesy excuse me. Red flag #1. My lovely nail lady filed my nails to death and two of my fingers are still sore nearly 24 hours later. My French design looks different on nearly every nail (some way thicker, others thinner more sharp defining lines). I was a walk in and smy lovely nail tech definitely started rushing mid service when her client arrived which totally decreased the service level. $45+ tip for a gel mani . I'm certain there are more efficient salons I have to roll the dice on another. read more

Well, it has been a long time since I've had a pedicure (maybe a year) so my feet were in some desperate need of some TLC. I called Sunday afternoon to schedule two pedicure appointments for the latest appointments on Tuesday night. The lady on the phone scheduled me for 6:45, perfect. My friend arrived earlier than me and was initially told they weren't taking anyone because they close at 7, she arrived at 6:36. A lady from the back yelled to the guy in the front that we had appointments and from what my friend told me, some arguing ensued between the workers possibly about the late appointment time. Anyway, I arrived ten minutes later and the lady started on me. We both asked for the classic/basic pedicure but as I was watching both of our services, mine was a lot better. Unfortunately the man was rushing through my friend's appointment while the lady took her time with me and gave me a good service. My friends service was actually more than mine because she did gel and then was told the gel color she chose was $5 more on top of the already ridiculously high price for the gel polish. $25 extra just for gel is insane to me. I know I've been to places where there was no charge for gel or the extra charge was $5-$10, NEVER $20. Honestly, just off of that alone I could never go back to this salon. I chose to do regular polish because I couldn't justify the $20 extra, I was trying a new color, and I want to change my color in a few weeks so regular polish just made sense for me tonight. The basic pedicure is $30 dollars so in my mind the bill should have been $30 + $30 + $20(gel) + $5(special gel) for both my friend and I, equaling $85 but my bill was $90. I know the service wasn't taxed so just confused on where the extra $5 came into play. Not too much money but still feels shady. However, I did still tip for the service. I am satisfied with my basic pedicure but I am mostly upset that my friend and I did not get equal service for the same service just because the shop didn't communicate to expect a later appointment. Service shouldn't be rushed or lacking because of a later appointment, especially when she came earlier than our appointment! EDIT - 5/17/23 (next day): My friend texted me today and let me know that the man that did her pedicure most have forgotten to put her top coat on one of her feet because everything was sticking to the gel polish. She went back today to have it fixed. Luckily, they didn't give her any problems. But this is why services shouldn't be rushed! It wasn't done correctly the first time and had to make another trip to the salon. read more

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! I've been coming here for almost 4 years! I will never come here again! I don't like when they don't speak English when they are clearly talking about you. I have been going through something personally and haven't gotten my feet done in a few months. Well as soon as I sat down the chatter began! The two women weee going back in forth in Vietnamese/Chinese (I'm not sure). Then the owner looked up and said you haven't been here in a long time (as she keeps on chattering and looking at my feet. I really don't want to give a low star review but if it can help someone before going, then I would want to help that person out by giving them my review. I got a gel manicure that costed $40. I immediately noticed the the job was not up to par but I didn't really mind it. Two days later, the polish already started chipping. On the third day, some of the nails even broke. I figured it's because it looks like the layers of polish are so thin. Maybe it's just dependent on who you go to there. But I would just be careful and make sure you get a good tech if you go here. read more

Total rip off. Tried to charge me $100 for what I wanted. Absolutely insane. No price list was available to verify the up charges he kept adding. They will not do ANY LENGTH for less then $85 and I had to really explain how there's no way that makes sense. The tech then changed to another client and I was given someone else for $85. This is the mess I was left with. Not one person was professional. I was pressured and felt uncomfortable my whole time there. The facility is also GROSSSSSSSS! Every station is dirty. It was the worst experience I've ever had getting a pedicure. The lady I had came in, slamming stuff around. She filed my toes so much with the drill like it was acrylic. She was so rough, then she cut my cuticle, then she started to rub in the callus remover and got on the cut, and I was telling her it was burning, and she was saying no. And they are not sanitizing there tools she threw the nipper down and grabbed another one that looked like it had been use. I will not be returning. Honestly the worst experience I've had with getting a pedicure. I arrived as a walk in and was willing to wait if need be. I was told that someone could see me in 5 minutes. After about 5 minutes they set me up in a pedicure chair with water. I waited with my feet in the water for an hour. I was told multiple times someone will be with me in 5 minutes. I should've left at this point but gave them the benefit of the doubt. The "manager" came to service me after she finished someone else's set. I got a regular pedicure with acrylic overlay. She was moving so fast and nicked me multiple times with the cuticle remover. Then the acrylic was so thick & when she was using the drill she burned me multiple times. Also cut me deep on a few toes when she was filing them for shape. At the end my feet hurt and I was bleeding from 4 different toes. It was unacceptable. I tried to explain to her and she told me it was because my nails are small? That's why she cut me? I showed the other lady and she said "you'll feel better tomorrow" I'll never come back here. When I went home to soak them in peroxide it hurt so bad and I realized I had more cuts than shown in these pictures that I took in my car. read more

I went for an existing appointment and had to see someone new. My nails look terrible and I'm so disappointed. I was very disappointed after my pedicure at acqua nail salon. I got one of the $60 pedicures, expecting that it would be better than the regular $30 pedicure. Unfortunately, the nail tech spent only 30 minutes on my pedicure, missed a couple steps that were listed on the description of the pedicure, and did overall an awful job on my nails. She didn't give me a massage or a hot stone massage, which was extremely frustrating, considering that's why I paid extra. I had one nail that was cut at an angle, which I had to go home and cut straight myself. She also smudged one of my nails and when I noticed, I attempted to get literally anyone in the salon's attention, and no one came over to see what I needed. Super disappointed with my experience. The only reason they are getting two starts is because the salon itself was relatively clean and cute. I will unfortunately not be returning though- too many errors for an expensive pedicure. read more

It's as if I never got a manicure , $25+ tip for something I honestly could have done at home. I should have taken it as a sign that it was empty. I've visited this salon several times over the last few years. I returned a few weeks ago for a full set and pedicure. I was thrilled. Came back today for a fill and pedicure. The polish is sloppy and I believe my tech cut corners with prep. Additionally he left my feet dry and sore. Also, these were supposed to be matching polishes. My nails lasted almost a month and prices are reasonable, also my pedicure was cute and lasted a long time as well.

I went in for a gel pedicure and when arriving I was seated and given a menu to select which treatment I'd like. It's important to mention that this salon is under new management and they're offering 10% off on pedicures and 20% off on CBD pedicures. While choosing my service, I believe it was the manager who was showing me my options. The original gel pedicure is set for $40 and the next treatment up that adds more features was listed at $48. She made it apparent that if I got the next treatment up, my price would only be $43 with the 10% off. (keep this in mind). I then asked her, "is that price going to include the gel?" and she said, "yes!" So, of course I agreed and continued to go with the that treatment because to me $3 more for the next treatment up isn't too bad. While getting my service done, I had Mike. He was great! And the only reason I'm giving this review 3 stars. He took his time, noticed both of my big toe nails had chips and fixed them accordingly, and just really made my feet feel soooo great. He also respected that I wanted to relax which I appreciate because I'd prefer not to talk while getting any type of spa treatment done. Fast forward to check out, the new manager (i never got her name) is the one who checked me out and my total was $58 and some change. I asked her why that was my price before tip and she said, "you had an add on (which was never discussed with me) and a gel add on" I then said, "you told me the gel would be included in the price you quoted me" and she says, "no! I never said that". Please keep in mind that I'm not the one to argue over money or anything superficial but I truly feel taken advantage of when business' persuade you to get a service done, let you know the price ahead of time, say yes to all your questions BEFORE committing to the service and then when it's time to pay it's way more expensive. So for that, I won't be returning. I also always tip 20% or more but again due to the manager not being consistent and going against what she said, I only tipped 15%. Which sucks because Mike did GREATTTTT ): So my service and technician were great. I highly recommend Mike if you do go, but don't let the manager persuade you into false prices. What a way to kill a good review I was ready to give. read more

The place was clean and they took good care of my elderly mom. I got the CBD signature pedicure which I highly recommend.
