July 2026-New owners have turned a wonderful salon into a sweatshop! So disappointing. Worst manicure I've ever had in my life.

Just got a pedicure done with my wife. I got a classic pedicure and she got an ultimate pedicure. All I have to say, is that this place was very unsanitary and unprofessional. My pedicure was simple, however my toes feel really weird afterwards. It might be, because of the bowl itself didn't have any liners and wasn't thoroughly clean and the jet fell off midway. Now for my wife, the lady doing it, filed her toe nails way too short and crooked, however prior to filing her nails, she confirmed if she wanted round or square my wife said square, and she proceeded to still do round. Now the work itself that was done is hideous. During this process, she was way too rough and ended up hurting her skin. She kept telling her that, she was hurting her, but the lady kept dismissing it. Considering the fact my wife is a licensed nail technician that works at a Forbes 5-star salon. The lady was nervous and was looking around at the customers entering, not fully focusing on my wife's nails. She also kept touching her face, as well as the trash can, even though it was a step to open trash can she kept opening it with her hands, my wife had to tell her to switch out her gloves for new ones. The polish work on her toes are not at all clean, there is polish around her skin and over exposure of UV light. Her toes are still aching and her skin around them are very sensitive now. Overall the experience was Very unprofessional and not relaxing for my wife. I would not go back and encourage you all to find a better salon. read more

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO SAY THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OKAY BUT THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS AND OVERCHARGE. I went in on 1/14/2024 on a Tuesday..not a busy day even while I was in there for TWO WHOLE HOURS FOR MY FEET. I've had my feet down before at many places under many conditions and never had a two hour appointment for feet. Then my real com is the asian girl in the front charging me $70 dollars for my feet. $70 is absurd for feet and not only that I don't mind paying the bill but the service wasn't worth $70 dollars. Without tip. Because she chose to cheat me for some reason. I would have gladly gave a $20 tip on a $50 job. The whole two hours she didn't even attend to me. She would go back and forth to eat and do other things. Hence why it took so long. I just wanted to put this out there. Would give zero stars if I could. I am so hurt and offended by my last experience there. I used to go here every week for YEARS and YEARS (my house is behind the salon). I always had my nails done by Miley (or Maile). I even had her do my nails before my wedding. I stopped getting my nails done because I was injured in a motorcycle crash and now use a wheelchair so it's really hard to keep a mani looking good even for a few days. One day, I went in with my elderly father to get his nails cleaned up and went ahead and had my nails done too. The tech (not Miley) was done but I was still there drying my nails in front of the fans at that station. I'll note here that I was not there for an inordinate amount of time and there were no people waiting anyway. Miley came over to me, told me I was done, and actually leaned over me with no warning, unlocked my wheels, and told me I could finish drying outside in 100+ degree weather. Then she proceeded to roll me out the door to the sidewalk in front of the salon. Needless to say, my nails got wrecked because obviously I have to use my hands roughly to wheel myself around. It has taken me awhile to even make this review because I'm just so very hurt. The shop owner is really sweet and I don't want it to reflect on the salon as a whole but I finally decided I could not let it go. For my first time getting acrylic nails, my expectations were pretty high. During this pandemic, the procedure was very well executed. Although a little rough with my hands as well as my sister's hands, the outcome was pretty nice. There are things we think they could've fixed. The lady that did my sister's nails failed to be consistent in making the shape she asked for, which was coffin. On two of my nails the nail polish was patchy. They did get nail polish on our cuticles. Also, I paid $35 for the regular full set, and my sister paid $37 because she got a different color on each finger. read more

So I've been to this nail shop twice. The first time I got a fill and a pedi, my second time I just went in for a fill. I've had four different people work with me but unfortunately I know none of the individuals names. Both visits were good, I walked in and was helped within 10 minutes. My first visit I had a man do my pedicure, the massage chairs and spa tub were great!! The woman who did my nails did not speak english so we didn't have much to talk about. But I enjoyed my first visit. My second visit was not so great. I went in for a fill and worked with a woman who was fluent in english, she was very nice and we talked the whole time I was in the shop. Now aside from her personality, which was great her nail work was not. She didn't ask me if I wanted them rounded or squared nor did she file them correctly. My nails were crooked :/ I had to ask her to refile them. Also, this was in December so I wanted to be seasonal and get a Christmas design, nothing fancy just a simple red bow on two of my nails. I knew this was going to be a train wreck in slow motion when she asked me what a red Christmas bow looked like :/ I drew the bow on a napkin and she assured me that she knew how to do it. I asked for a red bow, she gave me a florescent pink bow with four neon green lines that made it look like a present. The bow was square and sadly I was very disappointed. No. Just no. The lady who did my full set was rough. So polite, but rough. And then I told her a nice round shape, she did what she wanted. I like the price, 27.00, but not a fan of the roughness. She didn't cut my cuticles or clip my nails before placing the acrylic on. So here I am, cuticles grown out and nails misshapen. They say Joy is amazing here! I have been coming to this Salon for over a year and never had a big issue until yesterday. I went in to get 4 nails repaired by appointment. There is a man who works the front desk when Ann is not there who 2 times previously was extremely rude to me but yesterday was plain discrimination. I usually never have a problem with my nail tech Joy but yesterday I believe she was rude to me because she told me that the man at the front desk overbooked her for not just my appointment but two others before me. She went up to ask him if she had time to just do a fill since 4 of my nails were broken and he told her no so they started arguing about him not being aware of the time it takes to perform certain services so she came back to finish my nails and started accusing me of picking somthing up using my nails and that , that was the reason they were broke which should not matter if I am paying for the repairs. A series of other things were said that were minute to the bigger issue. When she completed my nails, I thanked her as always and said ok Joy lets go pay as we walked up to pay the man in the front yells at me "YOU ARE PAYING FOR YOUR NAILS"!! I said I fully intend to ,I always pay for my services. He starts yelling again " YOU ALWAYS WALK OUT AND NEVER PAY WE DONT WANT YOU HERE YOU SEE HOW YOU PEOPLE ACT"..I was completely baffled and looked at Joy to see if she was going to comminicate to him that I always pay and she did not. I had to verbally ask her "Joy dont I always pay"? She THEN said " yes she always pays" but walked away and left me there with this screaming hostile man who was then yelling to her " HOW MUCH ARE WE GOING TO CHARGE HER? COME CHARGE HER NOW" Joy completely ignored him so I asked her " Joy can you please come take my payment so I can go" she ignored me . I told the man just take my payment, as he is still yelling and insulting me he snatches my card hands me my receipt and yells " SIGN IT" I told him please hand me my card back and I will sign. The payment was already made so he had no reason at all to hold my card. He then grabs my wrist briefly to try and make me sign the receipt. I had to tell him not to touch me. He ran to the cordless phone and threatens to call the police on me after I already paid, after he physically grabbed MY arm and yelling that they have cameras and witnesses, which he was right that clearly show him in essence verbally and physically assaulting me. At that point I , was so upset and completely embarresed, that I signd the receipt just to get my card back and be able to leave. The way I was treated after over a year of being a loyal paying customer was unjust and unneccesary. It was very clear to me from his choice of words " we dont want you here" and " you see how YOU PEOPLE ACT" And the two previous times before this, that he obviously has a problem with people of color and that he also had me possibly confused with somebody else of color which is unnacceptable. I was also so very dissappointed in Joy for allowing him to humiliate me in that way when she knows that I am a trustworthy customer. I was the manager at CVS for 2 years right down the walk way from the shop and all the nail techs know me from there . I have a great rapport with all of them each time I come in but the way I was treated was clearly very discriminatory and for Joy to allow that, shows her integrity as well. I am honestly very hurt and embarresed by this situation and fully plan on making every valid complaint possible against this man and shedding as much light as possible on this unfortunate situation. For the ladies who were in the shop while this took place, I truly hope you took away from the situation, exactly what it was and are truthful about it. Very sad day. I do not recommend anyone to go here. See pictures below of what I asked for and see what my nails turned out to be. Don't miss my green infected cuticle the next day. I asked David if he could at least connect the white lines from one side to another. He told me "no because when you go into an art gallery, everything is different like when you go into the forest all trees are different." These are my nails that I have to look at for the next few weeks not an art gallery or trees. I wanted one finger like shown in the picture and it turned into a kindergarten drawing. A co worker of mine had recommended this nail salon to me because she really liked it and because it's close to where I live, so i decided to give it a shot. I was fairly impressed the first time I went because of the friendliness of the staff and that they remembered who I was when I came back a few times after that. I am a fan of their pedicures, what I am NOT a fan of is when I go for an eye brow wax and the response is " yeah you kinda need it" and they try to pressure me into a lip wax for the same reason. Bumped into this place last week as its near to my daughter's dance studio. It's not the prettiest, place but they are friendly and do speak mostly English to you which is always nice. I had my gel manicure ($35) done by Vanessa -- she was pleasant and did a great job on my nails. She clipped away at my cuticles without hurting me which is always a bonus as well. My nails look great -- it's been over a week and still no chips! Very easy in and out -- I had 40 minutes and she said 'no problem'. They are busy though, so an appointment would be recommended. I was there on a Tuesday at 4 and there were other regulars in there, I was just lucky to have been there as one was finishing up! I am a fan, I am definitely going back again!! I went in because it's by my new place. First visit, they gave me an older guy that didn't say hi or talk at all. That's fine, my gel nails were good n lasted long. I prefer good work over conversation. Second visit, I told them I only have time for one or the other. They said don't worry it won't take long. They assigned me to an older woman. She wrapped my fingers in aluminum foil for at least an hour and a half. I was there for over 3 hours for a gel manicure and pedicure. The gel started falling off 3 days later usually it lasts 10 days to 21 days. She must have put at least 6 coats on. I'm not kidding! I can't sit in the nail salon for four hours. I'm not going back because they aren't very friendly and they didn't do a very good job. Too bad, because it's so close. read more

This is only for the pedicures. I have only gone to one other place to get a pedi, it was absolutely atrocious and I never went anywhere after that! This place is super close to my house and one day I decided to pamper my tootsies. Upon entering you are greeted and asked to sign in. After you go look at the nail polishes they offer, including OPI and others, choose your color, and go sit in the warm water and luxurious massaging chair!! The previous 2 times I went the man did my pedis, hes great and actually talks!! I expected a quick pedi, but here a pedi takes about an hour. I was in heaven! He clipped my little nails, squared at the top bc rounded look gross, and filed my feets. The big difference here is the quality of the pedi. He really took his time and assured I was comfy and that was before the massage on my legs!! After he was done painting my toes, he took a brush and made sure there was no remaining polish, I was seriously impressed!! Pedis are 25 and a combo of mani pedi is 35. I will never go to this place anymore. I asked for a full set on my toes and my fingers, that is what is ask for when I go to an other nails salon. And usually they charge me $35 and it lasts one month. I tried this place because it is close to my house. So they did a pedicure + what they call "full set" (actually just an acrylic with regular nail polish, NOTHINg else so it won't last more than one week) for $60!!!!! For my nails she did the same powder so I guess it is acrylic and just regular nail polish on top. Something that won't last more than a week. For $25. She had an other client after me and she was not even done she left me with no explications, nothing, I just had to wait until my nails dry. Before I left the salon one of my nails was already messed up. I told her and she said it is because I messed it up. I didn't even move! So I told them you charged me $85 for that?!!!!? And they said yes that is what you asked for so I explained to them what they usually do for that much money. They didn't even want to understand so I just left the place so so UPSET.
