I was referred to Wes and Acquabella Pools by my brother in law who had his pool built by them. Wes gave us a beautiful design incorporating everything we wanted done including: Spa, outdoor BBQ island, fire pit, fire bowls deck jets, landscaping, lighting and a pergola cover. It took just under 3 months to complete and the finished product was beautiful. The reason I gave 5 stars is not just the pool construction, but Wes responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. He had 6 or 7 different crews working on the project, each picked by Wes because they knew what they were doing and did it well. The City Inspections were no problem as everything was in order. We had our pool done by Wes started around May 2021 and completed October 2021. We experienced a bunch of hiccups during the process so it took longer than the promised date of completion. For instance, him not putting the automatic cleaner that's why he had to redo it. Despite all the headaches and mistakes done we proceeded and finished the project with him. Until we discovered during our pool maintenance for a standard fill and re-polishing. We found that our plaster was done incorrectly. We've had inspector come check and they said it was not done right that's why there's holes on the plaster. We reached out to him since it should be under warranty and for weeks, he would reply with "I'll reach out to my guy", "I haven't heard back, we'll contact you". Basically a lot of brushing off. And to this day, he's still has not reached out to fix the problem. I want to share this with everyone so you can beware of the lifespan of your pool done with this company. You maybe saving some money for now, but you'll end up having to spend more than you should to fix all the errors down the road. read more

Acquabella installed the pool at my home about 3 years ago. There is a pretty significant rust spot that is growing at the bottom of the pool. I've been trying to contact Wes now for a few months and he kept telling that the plaster guy will call to set up a time to come look at it to get it repaired under warranty. Never heard from a plaster guy or Wes. It's now been two weeks and Wes stopped answering his phone completely. I'm not sure if they went of business but if they didn't then I'd absolutely recommend not using this company. Wes installed our pool about 3 years ago. We told him last year our plastic didn't look right and is scratching (nothing has touched it make it look that way) told my husband he would fix it. Sent a guy to acid wash it. Still looks terrible! Now he's saying that the plastic warranty we had with them is only for physical damage? Whatever you do don't use them! He also did a horrible job on my mother's pool after she spent over $100k with them and she had so many problems! read more

I rarely post a review on a certain service on the other hand Acqua Bella Pools need some good attention. Wes Thaxton is the owner and he is great to work with. He is always a text away and the response is always immediate. All the pool and other added work was all contract with him. Pergola Patio covers, pavers, extension of my retaining walls, built in BBQ PIT and FIRE PIT. I am glad all the project was all contracted with him, instead of multiple contractors I have to deal with. Romualdo is his right hand and deserves a well mentioned. Although thru the project process was not all smooth and understandable, our pool was completed and all added projects. With the exception of my pool heater is still not working remotely. This is not Acqua Bella Pools. This is on MURPHY ELECTRIC INC. and I honestly believe Wes Thaxton. He had been trying to contact them for 3 weeks now and counting. How hard it is to send someone to connect 2 wires from the pool heater to power interconnect. I know what to do but this will void my warranty if I touch it. We just completed our pool/spa back in November 2020 and it turned out even better than we had hoped for. We had 3 bids total and Acqua Bella pools outshined the rest. Wes was very professional, took our thoughts and brought it to life. Customer service was important to us because we would be dealing with him personally for the next couple of months. The process was seamless, he takes care of HOA and city permits. We hit a snag when the excavators found caliche (sedimentary rock) while digging but nothing that couldn't be resolved. The whole process is like buying a house, you choose everything from tile to plaster to colors of cool deck and all the above. I would say that's the fun stuff! It was really nice to work with a team that gets tasks done because there are so many moving parts and if you want to make changes along the way that's ok too. Another cool feature is you can access your pool features such as heating and lighting through an app on your phone. We are beyond excited and can't wait to utilize the backyard for entertaining this upcoming year! Give Wes a call, you won't be disappointed! Upon arrival of the sales person (Wesley) we noticed how arrogant he seemed, but I looked past it. We received a quote and decided we needed some changes in the quote and invited them back out to discuss. I told Wesley they had the job, I just needed a revised quote. They never followed up and never sent a new quote. We called and spoke to the Owner (father) and explained to him what had transpired and still nothing. With pools being as expensive as they are I want to give my business to companies that want it. Maybe at 60k-70k wasn't a job worth doing. At any rate, I would not recommend them purely on customer service alone. read more
