In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

He sent his staff out to our house, worked with the Techs for this particular hot tub based in California. Monday, they installed a new pump and after experiencing air-lock since purchasing this brand of hot tub. Humberto and Jerome were fantastic and our tub works now without any airlock issues. They provided excellent customer service and made us feel like we now have a great resource in the Las Vegas area to help us moving forward with our current hot tub. We've been jumping through hoops to try and get the part needed. It's been two weeks and still nothing. We've been throwing away chemicals into a pool that doesn't have a usable pump. Not only does Polytec Pools refuse to take back the pump but they refuse to even help us with the manufacturer. This company, for all we know, sold us a pump that they knew was bad. I would not order anything from them. Not necessarily because the product didn't work but because they refuse to stand behind it. Most companies would take a faulty product back. Reputable companies would have their customer's back...not Polytec!

Last time I come in, they charge me 2 of the wrong product by some new employee. No biggie, I will try to come in again to get a refund. But they complained I needed to bring in the giant boxes of chlorine. I am not hauling that back for the small refund. for the difference Eventually gave it to me as this one time "courtesy". Should be obvious since I never buy the other product and consistently buy the other. The courtesy would of been not to screw up in the first place. The service dispatch then had a comedy of errors over the following 5 days with miscommunication between the tech, dispatch center and local store. It took 2 weeks between the initial Call and when the tech was finally onsite to do the work. The tech (Robert) was great. Did the work, cleaned up, and came in under budget. Overall not a bad experience but the dispatch center is not very good.
