He made sure we new all of our options, was patient with all of our questions, and made sure we stayed informed every step of the way. Jose was our construction guy. He and his team went to work quickly on our yard. From start to finish, we were impressed with the process. Jose also did all of our inspections and made sure we knew what to expect every step of the way. After the pool was completed, he came back out and gave us a full tutorial on our pump, how to clean the pool, how to use our bolt down pool cover, etc. Chilo and his crew did our decking and concrete. We added a little more decking than what comes the pool, and gave him creative control to make it fit asthecially with the yard. He knocked it out of the park!! During all of this, I was also corresponding with Tommi in the office. She kept us informed of the next steps in the process, what to expect, and when payments were due for each phase. Always friendly, and responsive when I would email with any questions or concerns. After our pool was completed, I went back down to Renaissance to pick up our final packet from Charlie. It was bittersweet because at the end he gave me a great big hug, and it honestly felt like I was saying goodbye to a good friend. He always made me & my husband feel like we were his friend, not just a sale or a transaction. After working in customer service and management for over 25 years, that type of client relationship goes a long way! We bought our home 18 years ago with the intention of putting a pool in our yard. Charlie made our dream a reality! All in all, I would highly recommend seeing Charlie and the Renaissance team if you are in the market for a beautiful pool that will be installed way quicker than a concrete pool!

Aside from having poor business acumen, they are unresponsiveness, inaccurate, self-centered, predatory, and just plain rude. After litigation, we were able to redeem a portion of our payment due to their poor performance! It took nearly 2 years for our pool to be completed. If only I had done more research, I would have never entered a contract with this company.

He always follows through on every instruction I provide, and week after week, the service is thorough and reliable. I've worked with two other pool service companies in the past, and neither comes close. They usually started off strong, but their quality quickly declined over time. In previous years, poor maintenance even caused my pool to turn completely green. Since switching to Priority Pools, I haven't had that issue once. I don't often go out of my way to recommend companies, but Priority Pools--and especially Alejandro--have absolutely earned my trust.

We've used Priority Pools since our brand-new pool was completed three years ago, and the…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

He came, explained how to repair the issue and assured my husband that if there truly was any plaster issue he would address it through the warranty. They worked everything out to my husbands satisfaction (he can be even more critical than me). If anything changes I will update accordingly but as of now our issues are resolved pending an acid wash. If you have any issues- reach out to the office directly.

I worked closely with Ben, who really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life. What I appreciated most was how honest and straightforward he was throughout the process. There was never any pressure or upselling. Just genuine guidance and expertise. The entire team was responsive, communicative, and made everything feel seamless. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work delivered. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Pools R Us to anyone looking to build a pool. Truly a great experience all around!

Although the other pool designers/builders did reply and some actually showed up to take photos, measurements and do a mock up design, Jason Jolfs of Xterior Creations took the cake on this one. Jason was very thorough and listened to everything I showed and explained to him about my backyard ideas. When I received the renderings back from Jason we had a winner. Out of all the designers I had met with, Jason nailed every single little detail I had shown and mentioned to him. He even included where our little chihuahua would be relaxing on the artificial turf in his rendering. Not to take anything away from the other designers since they all added their own design ideas/suggestions in the renderings but Jason just had every single thing we wanted in the design he created 1000%. The build process was swift and smooth thanks to our amazing project manager Marco. He was there with us every step of the way and walked us through everything we were to expect and encounter. The steps and time frame was quite accurate as well barring any weather delays. From the dig team to the truss to the concrete and plaster it was a very fun and interesting process to see happening. Marco always stopped by to check on the project and went above and beyond fixing/sorting a few things out himself when needed. For the cost of this pool project which was below the others bids, we definitely got our moneys worth and have been recommending Xterior Creations to friends and neighbors. Major thanks again to everyone we worked with Jason, Marco, Yajaira, Mayra, Kendrick, Rocky, Jonah! Sorry if I missed anyone else but Thank you to everyone who we worked with and made this Oasis in our backyard happen!

It highlights only the initial design process and communications leading up to our decision and does not reflect any actual construction. I feel that based on the outstanding service, this company and their representative deserves all the praise entitled. Unfortunately, many variables (cost and multiple individual projects) led us to choose another company. In searching for a residential pool build with a design in mind for our new Las Vegas home, we cast a large net using Yelp and personal references to 'interview' for this project. On first contact, we informed Jason of Xterior Creations that we were shopping around for the best builder to make our dream come true. Without going into minute details, we only wish to say that from the initial contact, we were met with friendly professionalism and a desire to make our dreams come true. Jason was able to take our conceptual design and come up with exactly what it was we wanted and answer any questions we had regarding any aspect of this proposal project. His communication was always cordial and without delay. Ultimately, the one stop shop approach turned to a contractor/builder situation to save costs for another project. Had funds been unlimited, it would be another story and it was an extremely hard decision to make in choosing. Jason, I wish we had another house just so I could give you business because you were simply awesome! We know that you did a good amount of work for us and we want everyone to know that you are an amazing representative for Xterior Creations - so for anyone reading this review, please do consider Xterior Creations for your pool project.

When we first spoke, she was upfront, polite, professional, and easy to speak with. In addition, she promised to be THERE for us with any questions or concerns. And, this was spot on! We are very glad that we did choose her and Mission West. Here are the pros and cons: Cons - Seriously, the PERMITS with the city will take forever. If you tweak it after it gets approved, add another 2-3 months!! We started in Nov 2022, and due to waiting for permits, we were not done until June 2023. Lessons learned: Make sure you review it with the PM before submitting it. There was "loss" in translation on the diagram and we had to tweak it to make it work. - We went with the white plaster. Filled with water, it is light blue. Once you chose it, you are stuck with it for the next few years until you decide to redo the plaster. If we had to redo it, I would have gone with Blue plaster with quartz blue pebbles. Pay a bit extra. - Contractor availability. Most of the pool companies contract with specific companies. There were times that we had to wait for these companies to complete other jobs before ours could continue. As a result, the project was delayed a few days/weeks. - Hayward water pump is painful. Glad that it is far away from the main house. It is noisy and loud. For a new machine, we had issues with "high T Cell temperature and various warnings". Wish they used a different vendor. Also, wish they have two SEPARATE pumps - one for the main pool and one for the spa. - Wish we bought LARGER mosaic for the middle of the pools. However, once the plaster is down, no more mosaics...LOL... Pros - This was easy: Desiree. Our family loves her. She is very personable and is always there for us. When we call her, she usually picks up or call us back within 24 hours. The communication was EXCELLENT. She really cared and we really appreciate her hard work. Note: if she did not know the answer, she always got back to us quickly. In addition, she would bring her kids. And, our kids would spend time with them... she is very cool. - Pedro the concrete guy. Don't know how to say this, he is an amazing person. Did an incredible job with the landscape and artificial service. - Alfredo rocked it with the electrical work - Sergio kicked butt with the excavation Overall, despite the hiccups, Mission West came through. Pool is great. Would highly recommend Mission West Pools.

However, over the years, we have had them return multiple times for recurring cracks. Each time, the repair involved filling the cracks, which unfortunately did not appear to resolve the underlying issue, as the same cracks kept returning. Earlier this year, I contacted Doug and again regarding the same problems. I was told the cracks were likely due to seismic activity. Based on our observations, we are not convinced that is the cause. Additionally, there is currently a metal piece protruding from the side wall they built, along with other issues. We have documented these problems over time with photos and emails. After raising these issues again and requesting further assistance to address the underlying problem, we did not receive any additional follow-up communication. Because of this, we are now exploring other options to resolve the issue. Overall, while the initial build experience was positive, our experience with follow-up repairs and warranty support has been disappointing. I am sharing this so future customers can be sure to ask detailed questions about warranty coverage and long-term repair solutions before moving forward.
