Moved to the area late 2025 and was fortunate enough to find this Restaurant. Best Italian food around the area in my opinion. We go back at least every two weeks.Would strongly recommend making reservation a week or more in advance as it can get pretty full. As an example last night ( Saturday ) we could only get a 515 booking and the place was already packed. Very happy to see the business is doing well and now have a new Pizza a Pasta Bar Nearby. Would not recommend the restaurant during a major holiday due to their holiday set menu, you only have two choice either choose off the menu or go to a different restaurant. I wish my husband would've checked that before we headed to the restaurant. The cost was high and the quality of food prep like simple, mashed potatoes were over puréed. Also, one unfortunate event was feeling rushed because they needed to turn over the table for the next group. We were a party of three and were seated , served and ate within 1 hour . The amount of money that we spent at this restaurant for Valentine's Day I could've spent half of that at Perry steakhouse and been satisfied. My husband picked this restaurant because of the reviews, word of mouth, and the pictures online we will definitely come back to try the restaurant again another day when it's not a holiday I do think the menu was overpriced and the chosen chef appetizers shareable for the table. This is a great Italian option nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The menu is extensive and somewhat pricey, but expected with the dishes that are offered. We started out with drinks at the bar and ended up at a table with some good friends. Although it was a while since I was there, I can't remember quite what I ordered, but I know it was very good and everyone at the table was pleased with their dishes. While I thought the food at Acquario was good, my friends LOVED it! They like it so much that they have been back literally 5-6 more times since we went together. I really like my squid ink pasta. The prosciutto order was equally tasty. By the way they have a pretty good wine selection as well. The restaurant is located in a plaza with all these offices so it kind of blends in. First, the good news. The ravioli special was delicious! Lasagna was solid. Pasta with beef was a little light on the beef but still tasty. Beet salad was a very generous portion and the fresh, warm bread kept coming. Sadly, the creamed spinach was watery and bitter. The waitress was inexperienced but pleasant. The table wasn't fully set when we were seated but they eventually completed the job. Tiramisu was rich but an exceptionally small portion for the price. Children out of seats and roaming (but it was Mother's Day). Overall worth a try but at $50+ per person (no alcohol), I expected polished service, generous portions, or at least creative selections. So many other Italian restaurants to try- probably will not return. read more

Craving good pasta, I found Acquario, which is highly rated. I'm vegetarian, and usually Italian places have plenty of vegetarian pasta options. The waitress, who was very sweet, didn't seem to know any until I pointed out the two I saw and she confirmed that was it. There was an eggplant gnocchi and a cacio e pepe to choose from. I went with the eggplant gnocchi, and while I enjoy both separately, I didn't love them together. I was hoping to see more ravioli or different pasta sauce options on the menu, but didn't. The highlight was the Caesar salad. It had a generous amount of cheese and a really good dressing. The complimentary bread with ricotta was different, but good. The crème brûlée was disappointing as well and reminded me of a store bought vanilla pudding cup. The ambience for the restaurant is nice but it can get loud. read more

If I could give this restaurant 4.5 stars I would. The only bad thing I have to say is that we were there over two hours before we finished our dinner. I realize traditional Italian restaurants tend to space the meal out a bit, but we felt it was excessive. I went here for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and we ordered from the prix fixe menu rather than being allowed to order from the normal menu. The food was surprisingly bland. We ordered the Chateaubriand, which arrived generously covered in sauce (maybe to compensate for the lack of flavor), along with the veal. Dessert was...memorable for the wrong reasons. The "blueberry sauce" on the cheesecake was more like a firm gelatin tile like a post apocalyptic food you'd eat just to stay alive and the cheesecake itself had no crust and the texture of whipped topping rather than actual cheesecake. The vanilla ice cream (the easiest thing to get right) was flavorless like it was missing key ingredients. The complimentary "champagne" tasted like the kind of sparkling wine you politely sip once and then abandon. What really sealed the experience was the wait time...we sat far longer than expected just trying to get the check furthering the feeling we were imprisoned. I'm honestly surprised by how positive the reviews are, because aside from the nice presentation, the meal felt closer to hospital food than a Valentine's dinner. read more

Its warm wood tones, with crisp white and intentional small touches of blues and greens is nothing short of lovely. We had 6:15p reservations on a Saturday night and the place was hopping upon arrival. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was attentive and informative with the specials and making recommendations when asked. We were also able to watch restauranteur Nino Rata this evening. He's clearly involved and passionate about this place. He greeted the regulars, spoke fondly of his guests, took a few moments to chat when I asked about business since they opened. I really enjoyed meeting him. The restaurant provides diners with the freshest, soft, sourdough bread and a side of paprika, sea salt soft butter. I could have eaten that all night! Next, we started the evening with the crab cake that sits on a bed of smashed avocado, it was delicious, not dry, well seasoned, and generously filled with crab. Followed by the Caesar salad which is big enough to split by 2-3 people. My handsome date had the Mediterranean Sea bass. He said it was the best Sea Bass he's ever had. This is high praise!! My man is well traveled and has eaten at some of the best restaurants in the NE and abroad. I ate too much bread, plus the Caesar so only ordered the Arancini Siciliani for my meal. It was also delicious. For dessert we ordered this super bright, fresh Limoncello dessert. It was perfect for a hot Texas day. We are excited to finally have a fine dining experience in Keller and can't wait to become regulars here! The only item I feel must be pointed out to keep my reviews on the up and up is the entryway is a bit small and the restaurant is one large room. You can tell they tried to account for noise with sound absorption panels on the ceiling but it unfortunately just isn't enough. If you are hoping for a quiet meal, this place isn't it. I just want to add one more thing. We rarely dine out in the evenings any longer. At our age dinner at the noon hour in the old Southern tradition is our practice. But we've been wanting to see Acquario at night and the time change along with shorter days afforded us the opportunity for an early visit at the dinner hour for Miss Anne's birthday last Friday. The restaurant is very attractive at night and the store is really humming at dinner. A very cool and upscale, but totally unpretentious, vibe. And the dinner menu is amazing. Service as always was superb. Vinny is just great. Anne protested against ordering a second appetizer but I insisted saying "It's your birthday, come on!". Vinny apparently overheard me as the meal was topped off with a complimentary Chocolate Truffle Mousse and the servers singing her Happy Birthday. It was such an enjoyable evening. A sign or posting is needed to let the community know the hours have changed. I'm happy to report that this is a culinary oasis for seafood or pasta lovers seeking a taste of Italy. Its commitment to authenticity, impeccable service, and artful presentation make it a must-visit destination for anyone craving quality ingredients, freshly prepared food (including the FRESH pasta), and an attentive dining experience. We shared several plates as you can see in my photos all were savory and delish but I'd recommend the octopus and casarecce norma as the the best value items. This restaurant is a great addition to the community. Service is very friendly and food is great. Our party dined in at the restaurant shortly after they opened. Food is reminiscent of items that you'd likely find in places like Venice Italy. The seafood here was clean and tasted fresh. Branzino Crudo - This is in essence an Italian version of sashimi that's seasoned and dressed with other flavors. Fish was fresh and didn't give off any unappealing odors. Very good for those that enjoy fish prepared this way. Grilled Octopus - If you enjoy octopus, then this is the a must order dish. It was likely the highlight of the menu items our party ordered. The octopus was perfectly cooked to where it had a char on the outside, but still easy to chew without becoming rubbery. The purees and fresh tomatoes really provide a good acidity and additional flavor bomb for the octopus. Torino di Spinaci - This baked spinach dish with mascarpone cream and parmagiano reggiano was delicious. It had a crunch from the bake and creamy flavor from the cheese that made this a favorite for the table. Armonia di Risotto - The risotto here was cheesy and had the flavor of the sea. It was pefectly cooked and al dente so there was a chew. Flavors were great, but the shrimp was slightly overcooked and very chewy/rubbery. Aside from the cook on the shrimp, this was an excellent dish. Linguine Nero - This cheesy squid ink linguini was good. Flavors were good and the cook on the noodles was spot on. It's a very rich dish and really fills you up. Overall, it was okay and good for the first few bites. Overall, this is a nice sit down restaurant for Italian style seafood dishes. There appeared to be a bit of a lighting issue in the evening because the lights regularly dimmed and lit up on its own. The service was great, we noticed one glass we had was not properly cleaned and still had lipstick from a prior customer. They were quick to replace the glass and didn't make a scene of it. Prices are a bit on the higher side and you could easily run up the bill quickly depending on what you order. read more

Saw a recent review on social media and thought we'd give it a try... Went on a Thursday at 5pm. Location is interesting, kinda hidden at the end of a neighborhood road in a strip mall filled with non-food businesses. Inside is open and clean, when seated you can see every table and the bar...so there are no walls obstructing your view. Service was very prompt and attentive throughout our meal. We were advised that reservations are recommended for Friday and Saturday evenings, so take note. There are probably 20-25 tables, so its not a huge place and the bar was filled with locals(?) during our visit...maybe 4 tables were filled otherwise. Menu isn't large and they have daily specials, so make sure you ask/find out what they are. Wine menu is pretty expansive. We opted for the sea bass (menu) and chicken marsala (special). No cocktails tonight, we opted for tea instead. Food was delivered promptly, see images. Sea bass was 2 thin filets, which seemed odd...normally sea bass comes as a thicker steak portion anywhere else. It was just ok flavor-wise, and honestly, I'm not even sure it was sea bass...could have been tilapia or cod...pretty disappointing. Chicken marsala had no noodles, just chicken and mushrooms with a side of veggies. The sauce was like gravy, like Salisbury steak gravy...strange. It too was just ok. The saving grace was the service. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us throughout our meal. For $100 total, I was unimpressed and don't think we'll be back. Not saying its bad, but there are other options that have better food and better value nearby. read more

For my 100th review, I have a gem of a restaurant to recommend: Acquario Italian Seafood. It offers fine chef-crafted Italian Seafood with impeccable attention to every detail, including your enjoyment. It's rare to find a restaurant whose employees focus as much on the customer's dining experience as on the quality, flavor and presentation of each meal. That focus starts with the partnership of Nino Rata and Executive Chef Fredi Plaku. On our visit, David was our server. His recommendations were exceptional, and our wine pairing was perfectly complementary. We were in excellent hands. For an appetizer, we ordered the Tortina Di Granchio. It's a generous serving of jumbo lump crab, bell peppers, celery onions, avocado guacamole, drizzling with a spicy aioli. We recommend this appetizer. For an entrée, we ordered the Dover Sole on the waiter's recommendation. That was certainly an exceptional choice. This fish is a very high-quality flat fish, like a flounder, but thicker and firmer. If you've never tried Dover Sole, treat yourself when you get a chance. It's very good! I describe it as a very refined-textured white flesh fish that is firm and flaky. It's served under a lemon reduction sauce that compliments the fish without overpowering it. Our second entrée was scallops over a creamy pea risotto. The scallops were large and plump, perfectly seared. Though the peas weren't as well received as, say, asparagus would have been, we still enjoyed the dish. For dessert, we were treated to a Torta Della Nonna. This is a beautiful classic Italian tart with a luscious citrus pastry cream filling. It's really light and delicious. The dining area is a single, large room with a tall ceiling and large windows. Though not very intimate, the tables are well-spaced, making the room pleasantly quiet. Large groups can easily be accommodated. If you are looking for a very nice date night restaurant, this is your place. Be aware that this is a neighborhood favorite, so make a reservation. I recommend Acquario Italian Seafood for the delicious food and the dining experience. read more
