But recently is where their mechanics really shined. I had been experiencing an annoying rattle from my car for months. After no more than 20 minutes the mechanic was able to pin point the rattle, which was a poorly designed heat shield/air deflector that was located in the driveshaft tunnel on the passenger side, right by the drive shaft. The mechanic was able to find it solely on discoloration on the driveshaft caused by this part. I was showed the culprit by my service advisor and the solution explained to me by the mechanic. Thanks to their mechanic and the wonderful service and attention I receive at this dealership I have been able to once again enjoy every drive in my Stinger. And with Healey Kia's help I plan to have many more happy miles behind the wheel of my Stinger!

Dealing with people who are happy is easy, dealing with people who have a problem with their vehicle is a much harder feat. I had an issue with my brand new 2014 Subaru Forester and I truly feel that Mid Hudson Subaru did everything in their power to help me from initially attempting to fix the issue and then finally working with Subaru to replace the vehicle. Leadership starts from the top and Peter Maher, the owner, exemplifies that. Every promise he made me along the way, he honored. That's very respectable in my book. The manager, Kevin, is also caring, helpful and not your typical car dealer manager. Mid Hudson's sales team is great and Michelle is the best car salesperson i've ever dealt with. She knows the cars, doesn't play games, gives you a great price and makes buying a car an easy and pleasurable process. The service department is also really good. Rob Bosch is the manager and cares about his customers. I've dealt with him directly several times and the guy really wants to help you. I can't say enough good things about this dealership and I actually recently went back and bought my wife a Legacy.

But instead I could buy a different one. I hesitantly said yes due to the fact they said the monthly payments would be the same. Fast forward to the accounting portion, turns out the monthly payments were twice as much. They didn't even warn me prior. Make sure you go over every single line. They will assume you're stupid and will sound condescending when explaining your paperwork. Again, double check because they will toss in additional fees here and there for add ons that don't even make sense. If you try speaking to them after your appointment, they'll treat you like a leper. Sort of like they're the high school bully from some 80s movie that you can't help but want to punch. Not to mention the check engine light for the vehicle I purchased came on within 2 hours of driving it.

They throw away their credibility when they do this. Parts prices are high. Windshield wiper rubber inserts cost $21.45 here, but only $8.65 in Kingston.
