Omg........... Couldn't be happier with this place. This is my first time here and it was wonderful. I have driven by this place for years, who knew it was a hidden jewel. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the music relaxing and not to loud. Also, the food is delish and our server was top notch. Our salad came out maybe 5 minutes before our entree and our server apologize profusely because we were still eating our salads, we are pretty laid back so wasn't a big deal. After dinner we were so full we didn't have room for dessert... Next thing I know our server came out with a complimentary piece of chocolate mousse pie to say how sorry she was for the salad/entree mix up. How fabulous is that!!! The restaurant was situated in a strip mall that was not so inviting, several homeless males slumped over sleeping near the entrance. If you were to just judge the outside, I would say not to many people would venture to visit this place. The interior appeared remodeled. Nice choice of furniture and decor. I like the center ceiling seating area. The restaurant had an upper-class Italian feel. Greek Salad: fresh, crisp lettuce, freshly out of the refrigerator. The dressing wasn't over drenched and the right amount of onions, bell pepper and tomatoes. Large Speciality Pizza, half Mexicana and half Thai Chicken. The crust was cheesy, with just the right amount of bake and not greasy. I like that they had the pizza sitting over a straining grate. It made the crust that much better. The ingredients were perfect and the pizza cooked at the right temp. The Mexicana, had that Mexican taco flavor that was extremely bueno to the pallet, however, the Thai pizza didn't have the Thai taste it tooted about. I think maybe adding more basil and peanut sauce would have given it the edge it needed. Overall, I would highly recommend this joint, just look past the front entrance. read more

I accidentally deleted my review so I'm reposting it. I made a yelp account just to review this place because I had such a great experience. I have always driven past this place but never gone in. It doesn't look special on the outside but it sure does feel special when you get in there. Everything from the decoration to the music set the mood for a wonderful dining experience. My wife and I came in last Friday and we both got soups and pasta and they went above and beyond our expectations. The best part of our dining experience was the wonderful service that we received. We felt like we were in a far nicer restaurant than what could be just down the street from us. Our server, Kali if i remember correctly, was INCREDIBLE. she was very attentive without being intrusive and she got our orders perfect without taking notes. She was very knowledgeable regarding any questions we had about any items on the menu. I pay attention to how servers perform as I used to work in a restaurant for a long time. Even though the restaurant was busy she still managed to provide us with an amazing dining experience. I will definitely be returning and I cant believe I haven't been here before. We had a baby shower with 32 in our party. We were invited to come early to decorate. The owner and Pam were awesome in listening to what we wanted! They had the appetizers on the tables and salads going as people arrived. The 12 pizzas we ordered were excellent! If you ever want to try anchovies, garlic and feta pizza....This is the place! They were hot and the crust was crispy around the edges. We also ordered Cesar salads, caprese, goat cheese delight and cheese bread. EVERYONE was treated like royalty by our server. Drinks were always full and service was definately with a smile! We have been back twice since Saturday. My daughter loves the chicken Alfredo and the other likes the spaghetti. Family dinner for 16 has already been scheduled. Thank you Acropolis for making my daughter's day a special one! read more

Finally went to this place that's been on my radar for months. This place recently remodeled and it was 5 stars across the board. It's so beautiful inside, great service, super clean, portion sizes were huge, prices were great, the menu options are endless and impressive. Everything was delicious and we had at least half to take home. Our bill was $50 and we will get two huge meals out of it. Please support them! This was the worst Hawaiian pizza I've ever had, and I've had A LOT of different Hawaiian pizzas in my life. The cheese was falling off the bread, there was very little Canadian bacon and the crust reminds me of fast food pizza aka it tastes like cardboard. The only reason I had 2 slices was because 1. I was extremely hungry and 2. there was nothing else to eat at home. My husband ate one slice as well and agreed with me. I'm annoyed that we paid $20 for this and I'm surprised that this place won some award? I never write yelp reviews...this is literally my first one. We ordered take out. The ceaser salad was very good and fresh, it came with good garlic bread! The shrimp pasta and pizza was pretty bland. I had to throw the pasta in a pan and add seasonings and a little more cream to cut the thickness of the cheeses. The service was very friendly!! read more

This is our new favorite family lunch spot for our periodic drive from Seattle to Vancouver. We had a terrific lunch that accommodated all of our families various dietary requirements: my low-carb husband and I shared a wonderful Caesar salad, a wonderful Caprese salad and a bowl of insanely delicious meatballs. The picky children had plain pasta in one case and plain pizza on the other, along with garlic bread, and all three dishes met their ridiculously exacting standards and were pronounced delicious. All that would be enough to make this a new fave -- but it also has a lovely room and excellent service! I can only describe the decor as "I can't believe it's a strip mall": it is a tastefully decorated, very comfortable room that would not be out of place of a downtown restaurant in a hipster neighborhood. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and very accommodating of our special requests. We are so thrilled to have discovered Acropolis and we will be back! read more

Update: 4/20 sent our food back. Ordered Lasagna, we got lasagna hamburger helper! Seriously! The pizza was Meh.. at best. Server wasn't busy, but forgot to bring silverware, water or service. Dinning in or out, you'll likely be disappointed. As we left another couple spoke with us as we walked too our cars. They were equally disgusted with their meal, leaving 3/4 of their meal behind. This was pretty disappointing. My partner and I got a large pizza, a sandwich, and some mozzarella sticks to share and the price for all of that was outrageous given the quality/taste of food. I've been a big lover of this restaurant since i moved to the area 2 years ago, love the cheese on the pizza. The restaurant has great service and is a cool place but I've had issues ordering for delivery. The first time i ordered a lasagna and it was way too salty to be edible but i was tired and didn't want to go through the trouble of returning it. Last night i ordered a pizza and it was missing the chicken, when i called all they offered was either a new pizza (we were too hungry to wait) or a $5 credit that i would have to call in (ugghhh) to use. When i mentioned i'd yelp review the place, they put me on hold for a long time...i eventually hung up in defeat. With as many great pizza places out there and as many delivery options, i've decided that i want to spend my money on businesses that appreciate their customers....sadly this place failed me. read more

I've eaten here quite a bit and my favorites are the gyros and the baked pasta meals. The food is always fresh, their tzatziki sauce is to die for and the baked pasta always has melty cheese and is so yummy! My favorite is the tortellini. We have been to Acropolis a few times since we moved her a couple of years ago. Our first visit was prompted by savings in the Coupon Book. Sadly they're not in there this year but we still went back... This is a good sign! We went on Saturday night at about 7:00. We were the only people dining in. It always seems pretty dead in there. That's fine because I don't love a crowd but it always makes me worry about their future. Luckily there was a pretty steady stream of pick-up orders happening. For dinner we had a small Greek salad, the Salami grinder, and a small pizza with black olives. The salad came first and even the small was sufficient for us to split to start our meal. The dressing seemed to be pretty traditional for those that I've had, but it was a bit on the heavily dressed side. That didn't stop me from eating it all. The best part of the grinder was the bread. It was what I consider perfect. Toasted just right so it had that nice crunch yet awesomely soft on the inside. The salami had been griddled a bit so it had these tasty edges. It was topped with lettuce and dressing and the flavor was pretty good. Probably wouldn't be my first choice on a return trip. The pizza was pretty awesome. The crust is kinda deep and has a nice crunch to it. It definitely plays a role in the dish and isn't just the supporting cast. The sauce was pretty standard. I don't recall loving it or hating it. The cheese was pretty awesome. It was layered and delicious. The inside cheese was melty and stringy and nummy. The top layer of cheese was firm and well toasted. It had browned up a bit. However they did it, they did it right! (I'm going to try and upload a couple pics too) I recall reading a few reviews about the service. We had a nice younger girl as our waitress and she got the job done. She was friendly and chatty. We're young easy going folks so we often get some random conversations and it was no different. We discussed the sad tragedy of Paul Walker's passing and servers' general distaste for people showing up at closing time and expecting great service. Most people may have been offended by this but I get it. We had a nice laugh and she was back to work. Her pour of Wifey's wine was very friendly too! :) Overall this place is a solid choice for a tasty pie that's different from the ordinary choice. I've been back... I want to start off by saying this is a great place for a business gathering or small party. The decor in this place is not a traditional pizza place. It is really nice. Really cool seating areas and light fixtures. I feel like I am in a HGTV restaurant. Decor and Ambiance = 5 Stars Our server was excellent. Not only did she got back and double check on the items that we ordered for them being dairy free and nut free but she also meorized our order. I am was thoroughly impressed for someone working at a pizza place to make that kind of effort. We even made substitutions and customized two pizzas which made her memorization all the more impressive. I wish I could remember her name to give her the proper praise. It started with an S, that's all I can say at this point. Customer Service = 5 Stars I loved both soups that we ordered. One was a house vegetable and the other was a wedding soup. Both had great flavor and actually had a good amount of food in them, not just a bunch of broth. My daughter ordered a shrimp salad which is not worth it. This was a bunch of lettuce with 6 little shrimp on it. This is not worth $13. We had two pizza's that were customized. I will say do not get chicken as a topping because it is cut way too big and hard to eat on the pizza. They like to put some toppings underneath the cheese which is fine but throws you for a loop when they first put it down because you think they screwed up your order. The pizzas are a cross between a thin crust and a bread crust. I prefer wood fired pizza so I am little biased here. I would try a past next time instead of a pizza. We've come here numerous times in the past year. My husband for some reason really likes their pizza and baked spaghetti. However, this review is on what I think. The taste of their pizza is ok, the only complaint I have is that the center of their pizzas get soggy, no matter what toppings we order. I've ordered their chicken parmesan several times. Theirs is different from others. They have the chicken up into pieces and bake it on top of their spaghetti. My husband refuses to eat it that way, whereas I like it. However, since COVID hit, we've only ordered a couple of times, it is still done that way, but their quality has gone down. Previous to COVID I have had their: pesto tortellini with chicken - good. salmon fettucini - good. different pizzas - good taste but soggy crusts. My coworker and I ordered lunch, delivered. Delivery was prompt, within the time frame stated. I selected a Canadian bacon grinder. She bought a Cobb salad. The grinder, $8.99, was much larger than I expected. I gave half to a coworker. The menu stated it came with Canadian bacon, cheese, lettuce, mayo, and spices; I added fresh tomatoes. The sandwich was flavorful but I didn't detect any special seasoning. I was disappointed with the shredded lettuce, but should have asked what type was used. They literally put six small tomato slices onto that huge grinder, sadly not what I prefer. However it was good and filling. My coworker was quite pleased with her salad. As dinner quickly raced toward me on Sunday night I was met with the ever returning sunday question of, "do I cook the meal I have all the ingredients for and cook the meat I thawed out or do I fall to sloth and just order in?" My result was, sloth. I was going to order in. If I was going to order in though, it was going to be a local place. I decided on pizza and went to searching for a local restaurant that would deliver. I landed on acropolis and made my order. It is at this point that I may as well have taken my money and flushed it down the toilet I ordered a pizza, the goat cheese salad, and the chicken parmesan hot sandwich. 1. The sandwich: the only redeeming part of this meal. Not quite sure why something called a chicken parmesan was not breaded, but I digress. It was actually good. 2. The salad. Inedible. The spinach tasted like it was a couple days past its prime. Olive overwhelmed it in its entirety despite having no olives in it. The dressing was flavorless. It was supposed to be a balsamic, but was somehow as light as vegetable oil. The salad needed much more vinegar, salt, and umami. It had no balance of flavors. 3: The egregious pizza. This pizza made me look back fondly upon school cafeteria pizza. The pizza looked better than school pizza. After the sad salad, it gave me hope, but no. Upon lifting a slice from the box the toppings slid off in one solid piece. The bottom of the pizza was a grease slick. The crust had as much flavor as a saltine cracker. The actual top back crust, the crust people mean when they say crust, actually did have a decent chew. So... good on them for that one thing. The sauce was both bland and too sweet and too garlic. How's it all those things? Who knows. They managed it. The cheese seemed like it never got hot enough to give the pleasurable cheese pull we all know and love. It melted just enough to look melted. This is easily some of the worst pizza I have ever had. I am unsure how it has 4 stars. The only possible thing I can think of is if they have a "rate us on yelp and get a free thing " up in the restaurant and people are too pressured by social pressure to give an honest review. read more

I really don't know why this restaurant has 4 stars . I called in for the first time to order to go . I ordered lasagne with a side salad with Italian dressing . When I walked in the restaurant it only had one table of customers who were staring at me . Also , the entire restaurant smelled like dirty sink water . When I got home I noticed that the lasagne looked decent at first glance but upon first bite had a very odd , watered down / smoky type of flavor to it . The menu says the lasagne is made with beef only & I do not eat pork but tasting this lasagne I was suspicious it may have pork in it . It also had pieces of carrots in it , which I found strange & unnecessary . The first bite really was not delicious , & of course I could not even finish eating the meal . I spent $18 with tip .. The garlic bread it came with was dry & hard , && the Italian dressing served with the salad literally just tasted like olive oil & vinegar which I found unappetizing . I've had food here twice but never dined in. First time ordered take out, cheesy bread and I think it was a chefs salad. Both were amazing!! Second time ordered delivery, we had cheesy bread, salad and lasagna. Again it was amazing! The inside is small and very cute. Nice black interior and pretty chandelier.
