We were both incredibly pleased, and decided this was going to be our Pizza go- to. We've eaten Acropolis twice, both take-out. We've done subs/gyros one time, and pizza the other. Both times, the food was ready quickly (and when estimated). The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, definitely would be a great atmosphere to dine in. Everything we've had there, pizza, grinder, and gyro were all pretty good! Ordered the Bacon Carbonara and Tortellini with chicken. The Alfredo sauce was a strange consistency. It was not a 'creamy' traditional sauce... almost like a white velveeta cheese consistency. It was just bland and not cheesy with the parmesan/Romano flavor. The bacon was amazing in the Carbonara. The flavor was spot on and had a lot in the dish. This is my family's favorite place for pizza. 1. Large selection of pizza's and toppings (specialty pizzas are fantastic!). Their salads are huge, and while there are many other items on the menu (calzones, sandwiches, breads, buffalo wings, desserts, sodas, etc.) 2. I've been pleased with their discount coupons. 3. They are in a really good location 4. They have always been friendly when I've ordered from them. So sad and upset! My husband & I grew up in Kirkland where the original Acropolis is, we love their food! When the Son opened up the Everett store, we were so happy, we ate there at least once a week. But when the Son sold the restaurant, he must have taken his recipes with him, because it is not even close to the same! We ordered Lasagna last night just to see if it was as different as the grinders are now and it was absolutely horrible! It was dry, barely any sauce on it (Which now has carrots in it???) My husband was so sad. I spent 50 bucks on a very disappointing meal! If you are a fan of the original...make the treck to Kirkland or you will be stuck with Yuck!!! read more

Love Acropolis in Everett!! It's one of the only places I'll eat in this area. My boyfriend recently moved to Everett so it was hard finding a place we both liked with few respectable restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is great. The food is never disappointing, and I love their salad options. 10/10 would recommend. read more

We arrived around one and there was one other couple in the restaurant so we sat wherever we wanted which was nice. Our server was friendly and attentive and we received our pizza order I would say in an average amount of time probably 15-20 minutes. I really like their Decour and music and the whole feel an atmosphere inside the restaurant is kind of warm and cozy and inviting. We got the Greek specialty pizza and my wife had artichoke hearts instead of onions and I had them put my euro meat on her side of the pizza which was no problem. We really enjoy their thin crust and how the crust is still chili and the ends however I personally prefer a bit more pizza sauce over what they put on there's at least this time. Their tzattiki sauce is barely average and disappointing. She was good about making sure we had everything we wanted including enough water in a picture of the table we didn't have to wait long to get our pizza box stop and get our check. If you have an entertainment book then make sure you come here because you get 50% off your pizza which makes it a really good deal. read more

This is one of the worst dinners that I've ever had! How can you call chicken Parm chicken parm when it's sliced deli meat. The grinder or if you should call it a grinder was on really horrible bread and was inedible!!!! The pasta sauce that I had for my daughter was definitely from a jar!!! And then the manager after I called and complained told me that I was talking out of my ass!!!! I was so disappointed with our delivery order. Customer service and delivery were great, no issues. But the food did not taste good. We ordered a lamb gyro and pepperoni pizza w/ mushroom . The pizza was ok, nothing special. My complaint is with the Gyro. The meat tasted old and it had a weird after taste. My husband took one single bite and automatically spit it out. Yuck!!! I went here with my son for dinner. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and he ordered the salmon fettuccine and the chicken gyro. (My son is 13 and has a voracious appetite.) The chicken Parmesan came with cut up breaded chicken cutlets, mixed in a marinara sauce. This is not how you make Chicken Parmesan! The chicken was dry and inedible and the sauce didn't taste good. My son's salmon fettuccine was made with salmon that had bones in it, and tasted uncooked and had a texture of jello! The service was fine. However, the quality and taste of the food was terrible. When my son went to the bathroom, he said that he saw ants crawling out of the tiles on the floor. read more

If I had to rate this based on the pastrami sandwich only, I would give this five stars on this rating. The reason I am giving this a four-star is in addition I ordered a chicken gyro. I felt like there wasn't very much meat on it and it was pretty overloaded with sauce. I would've liked to have seen more vegetables also on the gyro. The chicken was good and the wrap was very good. The server that took my order and handled my food was extremely friendly and professional. I asked for my sandwich to be cut into four pieces and it only got cut into two. I have wanted to try this place for a while. I delivered uber from here and it smelled amazing.... well that's the only thing that was amazing. I took my wife here for dinner. We got lasagna and pizza with a side of garlic cheese bread. The lasagna had very little cheese and the sauces was thin and had no flavor. The pizza was mediocre it looked like something I could get from Walmart. The crust was floppy and full of grease. 45.00 for a serving of lasagna, a 12 inch pizza and garlic cheese bread. I don't relish this sort of review, but as a previously very satisfied and loyal customer, I feel like I need to plead my case. We used to get this amazing pizza from these guys like once a month. It was rich and satisfying and not the standard run of the mill like a Pizza Hut or a Dominos kind of place. Now, after having one of their changed pizzas, I kinda wished I'd gotten the run of the mill instead theirs today. Not good. Top to bottom their recipes for the pizza at least have changed. And not in a good way. The dough was -- and I'm trying to be diplomatic here -- at best generic. It didn't have the buttery flavor and texture it used to. It quite literally tasted like wonder bread. I'm not even convinced they make it themselves. The sauce had no zing to it. The cheese was generous, but that too seemed like it might have been different. I could be wrong on this point, but maybe with the whole package seemingly different, it just couldn't carry its weight. What used to set these guys apart was the VERY HIGH quality of their toppings. That seems to be gone too. We got two pizzas. The pepperoni and sausage was just mediocre. Clearly wasn't the same stuff they had been using. We also got a pizza with anchovies. I don't care what else goes on a pizza with them, but when you get anchovies on a pizza, it should be a flavor punch in the face. It wasn't. The anchovies themselves were pretty bland too, which is quite surprising and quite disappointing I have to say. I don't know if it is new owners or new management or they simply felt like they needed to change the recipes along with the decor. That's a real shame because it just isn't the same. The decor is nice, but at the end of the day, I'm not eating the decor. The decor isn't going to satisfy me. The pizza did. Now it doesn't. read more

This was a real treat. The food was good for what I call Greek-style pizza - heavy on the cheese, crust is a bit doughy, and tons of melty goodness. This style isn't for everyone, but if you like it this is about as good as it gets - where cheese just falls off the pizza in big gooey chunks. Their garlic cheese bread was a major hit for the kids, and their gyros were nice and tasty. The decor is really interesting. They went with a very elegant, refined style with nice chairs, old wooden tables, chandeliers and attractive artwork. Again, kids loved it - especially the lighting. The service was really above par, and why I gave it a 5-star review. Very attentive without being overbearing, quite understanding and friendly, prompt when needed and unobtrusive otherwise. Definitely worth it taking the time to sit in and relax and have a good, family friendly dinner in a quiet, elegant setting. read more

Went here last weekend and we loved it! The interior is amazing, so beautiful to be in. The portions were great. I had baked spaghetti and it was awesome, not dry, lots of cheese. I really liked the cheese bread also. But I think the thing that stood out the most was the young lady who was serving and acting as hostess. She was so friendly and accommodating. Our drinks were always full and she was just really pleasant to deal with. I really hope this place gets more business because I want to keep it around. Good experience. First time here. Had the lasagna which was very good. Came out baked and nice and cheesy! The garlic bread is also delicious! Every now and then you find a restaurant where the number of Yelp stars are completely ridiculous. This place is absolutely awful. I can't speak to the pies but the "Italian" entrees were mediocre at best. Clearly ingredients from cans and freezer bags. We were there on Saturday night with about 90% empty seats. We should have taken the hint. This place shares the name of "Acropolis" with another joint in Kirkland, which incidentally completely rocks it. I think both were associated in the past, along with Athen's Pizza in Auburn. Athen's and Acropolis-Kirkland still throw down some of the best food dating back to the 1970s. This place JUST got a facelift! I love the remodel, the interior design, the beautiful chandelier, the wood panel wall! I feel like it's so HGTV that I keep staring and forget to eat! Let's be honest, it's waaaaaaaay too pretty of a restaurant to be in Everett!!! Now back to the food, the GRINDERS are still delicious. I do notice however that they changed the bread. It's still good, a decent rustic chewy bread. But it needs more crisp and crunch. I love the BBQ Chicken Grinder, the addition of red onions is totally new but it's still good. Whodathunk? At a place called the Acropolis, I had a GRINDER! And a good one at that. For those of you who aren't already humming the tune to "Hoagies n Grinders" by Adam Sandler circa 1992, a grinder is a sandwich. I specially ordered mine, which was great because I was inspired by their menu to go a little nuts and ask for a sandwich off the menu. As a fan of sandwiches in general I was hoping for some serious variety in their toppings list. Here's what I saw (and ordered.) -pepperoni -salami -turkey -lettuce -tomatoes -black olives -onions -cheese -lettuce -salt -jalapenos -green peppers -ground pepper -oil & vinegar The serving size was HUGE! My sandwich was actually cut in half and it fed two people in total. Yummers. I hear their pizza/pasta is great - but I definitely recommend giving the sandwiches a shot! read more
