Today my ignition interlock was uninstalled after successfully completing my 6 month term. At first I was very intimidated by the whole thought of having one of these things in my car, but I was wrong and it was not that bad at all. Corey is very helpful and will answer any question's you have and if you need a code or anything last minute, he's always happy to help. The device itself was super straight forward, like blow (sober) and drive, every 20 minutes or so you will be asked to retest but this isn't unique to this device, all devices do this. I found it to be very simple to use and if you ever have a problem just call Corey, he'll help you figure it out. I appreciated that I could always rely on Coreys help if needed, he's very busy, but will always make himself available to help you to the best of his ability. It's obvious that the other reviews on here are fakes if you notice they are from people with 0 friends and only 1 review, so don't be fooled! Dealing with this business brought out an ugly side of me that I never knew existed. I shopped around for interlocks, and this place had the lowest monthly rate with no charge for calibration, which sounds like a great deal at first. There is a $40 fee for rolling re-test refusals, and this is how they make their big bucks. They originally gave me faulty equipment that had temperature issues. I was locked out of my vehicle before I could get to work, and they gave me a code telling me I had to drive straight there for them to switch the device out, making me two hours late for work. What if it was court, and not just work that I would have been late to? I would have had a bench warrant issue for failure to appear due to faulty interlock. The problems did not end with the replacement device. I drive with one eye on the road and one eye on the interlock to make sure I blow within the 3 minute window when prompted. My music or conversations in the car are never too loud so that I would not hear the ear piercing retest prompt. Well, these interlocks are rigged to give retest refusals, and I would get retest refusals at least once a month. I had my suspicions from the beginning when I would get retest refusals, and those suspicions were confirmed when the last retest refusal time was stated as a time I was not even driving the vehicle. By the way, the state does not require a device to have a lockout system, my new company has no such thing as "lock outs", so what ACS is doing is super shady. Additionally, they only give you 5 days to reset the lockout. This supposed lockout happened on a Thursday night, so that counts as one day, Friday no one returns my phone call or answers the phone until noon, and of course they are closed weekends. I am forced to take a two hour break from work on Monday to drive up there and have the problem corrected at their convenience. And the secretary there is completely rude and unprofessional, she always has her son there watching annoying cartoons on an ipad, and she has such a snappy know it all attitude. Like when I try to make an appointment that's at least around my lunch hour, she goes "nope, can't do that, you have to come at this time", or the classic "you signed the paperwork!" She even snapped at me once when I showed up early to a calibration appointment saying "because you came early, I don't get to take a lunch!" I decided I was over paying for their bogus lockouts, and made an appointment with a new company that doesn't charge for lockouts. I would rather pay $20 for a scheduled calibration than have a major inconvenient "surprise" drive to Santa Ana and pay $40 to this guy. He begged me not to switch companies and even offered to wave my lockout fee this time if I stuck with him but I was so over it by this point, nothing but a rip off. Also, when I had the device uninstalled, he still charged me for the illegitimate lockout on top of the $80 uninstallation fee! And of course Alma the front desk lady just said "you signed the paperwork!" Such a scam! These people know that DUI offenders are forced by DMV to have an interlock, so they think they can just treat people however they want to because they have the upper hand. I've spent a total of $250 just to switch interlock companies so that I won't have to deal with the stress of unexpectedly missing work, paying for their bunk retest refusals, and sitting in their dirty, disgusting lobby while they reset their rigged retest refusal equipment. Very unhappy, please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else! read more

Let me tell you why you should go here. Corey the owner is awesome. Alma the receptionist is awesome. They both are responsive when you need any information or booking any appointments. There's no corporate office you need to call to get dispatched to. Service is smooth sailing. You don't have to deal with a corporate setting like lifesaver. (I had to call their office in Ohio) to have them dispatch a local mechanic office in California, where I live (makes no geographical sense). Corey has a private number you are able to call in case of an emergency (not during business hours). So you don't have to freak out. There are no hidden fees unlike other companies. Other places will charge you every time you go in to do your calibration (that's every 60 days). This place doesn't charge that. Or they will charge you a lower or no install fee, but will make up for it in the monthly bill, calibration or removal fee. Time is valuable, and if you are reading this.. Obviously you've wasted enough time being into the system with the school ten classes. You won't regret using ACS. They're responsive and will make your time easy. No hidden fees. You'll pay for install and dismantle and your monthly charges. Upon arriving, only thing you'll be paying is install. You'll get your bill and pay the monthly on that then you can pay for the removal when your due for one. Give them a call! Other places devices make you hum and blow. I normally don't write yelp reviews as most businesses you kind of know what you are walking into thru being familiar or word of mouth or...yelp. When I was required to get an interlock on my car I had no clue about them nor knew anyone at the time that had one and was facing tons of court fees so like most I chose the best price. Sometimes the "you get what you pay for" saying rings true but with ACS I can safely say that is not the case. The owner Corey...can't say enough about this guy. First of all interlocks are his thing, not a side job, not some nationwide chain trying to get some extra coin on this area, he services interlock's and that's it. The devices he uses just require you to blow for about 5 seconds and that's it. A couple of the other devices I've seen seem like a real pain in the requirements and the amount of times you have to test, his interlocks require a starting test, one random retest within 30 minutes and then every 30 minutes after that if your on a long drive. I've heard of other devices wanting tests every 10 to 15 minutes and since a lot of us are not drinking and driving after getting busted it's more of a nuisance than a safety precaution. Corey also try's to install the devices in the most discrete area possible, none of us are waving our interlocks around and showing them off. An interlock can be very embarrassing, the interlock's Corey installed on my 2 vehicles were nicely stored away where I could test discreetly and also easily tuck away when I went into work or was showing people the interior of my classic car I had the device on Corey is very flexible on the appointments, there were times I could tell talking to him the time that was good for me was probably not nessecarily the best for him and he told me to come in on the time I wanted anyways. Also it is very easy when you take your car to a car wash or a mechanic they are uneducated on interlock's and will lockout your device...Corey understands this and will usually offer a price break since it was not your error (the reset charge is a requirement from the company he works for not nessecarily him) When I finally got my devices removed I jokingly told Corey "hope I don't see you again" because I don't plan on getting in trouble again but honestly the service Corey provided me over the years will be missed, the device not so much Thanks Corey! read more

I was not aware that CA how requires all first timers to install an interlock device. Most of the places I called seemed to be logics people but Cory at ACS was extremely helpful and guided me through the next steps. He also seemed pretty confident installing the device after I was told by other companies that my car isn't the easiest to hook up for the device. I required to have the device for 6 months and Cory helped me out whenever I had a question or worse got a refusal. The first one totally my fault but the second I got my car serviced at the dealer. When I got there I was greated by Corey and we went through all the paperwork and fees again thoroughly.
