After installation, the shingles were uneven and did not lay flat. When we raised concerns, they were largely ignored. No final walkthrough or inspection was conducted, and we were not provided itemized invoices or clear documentation. An independent inspection confirmed multiple defects, including improperly installed components requiring further repairs. Repairs attempted by Fossil Ridge were unclear, unsupervised, and undocumented. Payment was repeatedly requested despite unresolved issues. We had to hire another contractor to correct these defects. Based on our experience, future customers should be extremely cautious, manage insurance claims directly, request thorough documentation, and ensure inspections and walkthroughs are completed before making final payments. The lack of quality control, transparency, and accountability made this a costly and stressful experience

They were able to accommodate me and the 6 man crew and the supplies showed up bright and early that morning. The house was draped in netting to catch the debris. Old roof off; new roof on. Done in one day, complete with cleanup and magnetic nail pick up. it's been one week now and I haven't found a single stray nail. Fast, Meticulous, and Fair Pricing…read more In preparation for selling my home, I obtained quotes from three roofing companies in the area to repair damage to my garage ceiling from a neglected minor roof leak. SCI Roofing & Remodeling provided the best quote and completed the work ahead of the deadline with no compromise in quality. The first quote came from a company that urged me to file a claim with my homeowner's insurance without even looking at the damage! Their unethical behavior ruled them out for me. The second quote was based on drone photos; he immediately identified the problem, and he also proposed filing a claim based not only the drone photos but also meteorological data. The problem is that my roof is only 3 years old; the damage in the photos was small marks that showed no penetration; and even if I chose not to file a claim on the entire roof, he proposed to repair the leak by reconstructing a large part of the roof around the leak. I am sure that this would have been an excellent and thorough repair, but it was far beyond my budget. I went with SCI Roofing & Remodeling because they were the only quote that did not try to exaggerate the damage and they proposed a very targeted repair resulting in a quote that was less than half the highest quote. In addition, they offered to include many interior renovation repairs to optimize the appearance of my house for showing. Finally, not only did they propose a reasonably sized project and deliver excellent quality, but they also completed everything about half a day early! For these reasons, I am grateful that I found this company and am happy to recommend them to others because they are one of the few companies that provide honest, courteous, and skilled work for a fair price.

Our insurance covered repairs for our home's roof, fencing, shed roof, and other damages items from the hailstorm we had. While they did replace the roof on our house, they failed to complete any of the other contracted repairs. Yet, they still charged for all the additional items as though the work had been done. And the work they did on the roof was not that good of a job. We had to call them back out here to complete and fix some of the work they did. This company is not trustworthy. The owner showed up initially to take our payment, but once he had the money in hand, he disappeared. After receiving the money, we could not even get him to answer his phone. We had to beg them for over three months just to start the roofing job. Since then, we've been left chasing them, trying to recover the money they charged for the work they never did. Dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend AmeriState Roofing to anyone. Save yourself the frustration, time, and financial loss. Find a roofing company that actually values integrity, honesty and respects their customers. And cares about the military community and it's veterans in Central Texas.
