It can be very nerve racking as a woman to take a car to any shop. I have been having problems with my Hyundai for almost a year, I have taken it to a few different places and explained everything I know and have fixed. Every single time I share the knowledge of MY car, I never feel like I am actually heard UNTIL... I visited Action Auto & Tire. Will in depth listened, wrote, and asked follow up questions regarding my car and its history of problems. It pretty much had some electrical problems that were causing the battery to completely drain. It is a horrible problem to fix because it takes a lot of time but Action Auto & Tire did it!! My car is fixed and honestly I've never been happier. I felt respected, heard, not robbed, and guaranteed. I feel that I paid an extremely fair amount for the work that was done. And I love that if any other related issues come up, I can take it back up to a year to be fixed. Very very happy, and highly recommend to anyone that has electrical problems. Bought the cheapest bullet proof kit charged me for the most expensive then desided to put 1000miles on my truck and I know they towed with it because my rear tires were aired up to 75 psi when I never run then that high . But he gave me my money back after I threatened him with Small Claims Court because he destroyed my radiator and acted like he could fix everything when he had no place fixing anything and telling people they're stupid when in reality he left packaging and receipts so then when I called him on it, he said you don't wanna do that, bro. I said I will. He's like tell me what we gotta do to fix. It said you're gonna pay my diesel mechanic to repair everything you fucked up putting the wrong coolant in my engine, putting the wrong plugs in my engine breaking my radiator and flushing the whole block so he ended up giving me back $1300 because he knew he fucked up and he fucked the wrong one read more

This place is a classic example of a bait-and-switch mechanic shop. I had an issue with my convertible roof, and they offered to inspect the problem for $150, which seemed reasonable. Later, I get a call saying more work needs to be done and the inspection will be $250, which seemed strange, but I had no choice. Then, they called again and said they needed to remove the rear trunk panel to access the roof mechanism. This would take another 2-3 hours at $250/hour, costing me even more. At that point, I decided to stop the bleeding at $250. Adding to the lack of professionalism, the associate at the office was vaping (not sure if it was nicotine or marijuana) the entire time I was there. The same man was on the phone with a customer who was also dissatisfied with the service, as they apparently left something inside his car. I would stay away from this place unless you're looking for a vape lounge. read more

Had the worst experience here. Went in for a simple starter repair. Turned into a 3k job. The Owner was very pushy to claim all these things needed fixing after the fact they caused more damage to my flywheel and making me pay to replace it. Then they created a new transmission leak when the flywheel was removed too. Went I went back to have them fix the leak they caused. The owner claimed "that wasn't caused by us" my car had zero leaks when I brought it to them and made me pay for a lot of new repairs to fix it. To fix the leak they said they wouldn't charge me for labor but yet it was somehow still $800 to fix a rear seal and bushing? Even if these issues come back I will NEVER be coming back. Totally take advantage of customers and up charge everything. Worst experience of my life. I should have read the negative reviews from others before taking my car here. read more

Funny how there moto is "we fix it right the first time" which is the complete opposite what will happen if you bring your car to them. Literally had to go back multiple times. They don't take responsibility for their work either. If you have to go back for something they didnt do right the first time, they will tell you, "oh that wasn't us, you have other things going on that need more fixing" Then proceed to try and charge you for a more bigger job then needed to fix their initial mistake. Owner is just as shady and tell you, "if you dont like it, you can take your car elsewhere". When they are the ones who didnt do the job right. They are unethical and don't even provide a proper itemized receipt of the work done and parts charged. They say one thing then say another next time you talk to them. A few weeks ago my father in law introduced me to Action Auto and Tire when a different maintenance facility missed one of two holes in his tire. He made an appointment and they patched the tire while we were out running errands. They were efficient, honest, and kind. Around that time I had my car serviced by the dealership I bought it from. I told the dealership that although all the tires were low in pressure, one in particular was going flat faster than the others. I got my car back and I was told that all the tires were exceedingly low in pressure, but that's it. The tire pressure alarms started going off about a three days ago, but I thought since the dealership had checked my tires maybe it was a fluke or a change in pressure due to temperature. While running errands yesterday, I drove past Action Auto and Tire and on a whim thought it would be good to have it checked out just in case. I didn't realize they were closing when I drove up, but they still spoke to me, looked at my car, and FOUND A NAIL. They took my car and patched the tire in about as much time it took me to text my husband about the nail. I am incredibly grateful to Action Auto and Tire for their kindness and excellent service. Even though they were closing, they took the time to speak to me about what was wrong, what could be setting off the alarms if there was no nail, and got me in an out of their shop in about 10 minutes. I understand that this level of speed might normally not be the case since they were already done for the day, but they were also very efficient with my Father in law's car when he did have an appointment. I'm appalled with this business. Was referred here by another auto repair shop in san juan capistrano as they didn't work on issues my car was having. Called on a Friday and spoke to Armondo in depth about the situation, and that I needed an estimate for AAA as they would be paying for the repair. Armando knew I would be driving my car *With Issues* all the way up there the following monday, and that I had to drive there very early before traffic and before they opened due to my vehicles issues. After waiting 2 hours for them to open, Armando not only told me a different story than he said on the phone, but he then tells me it will be $350 to just look at my car. He could have told me that BEFORE driving all the way up there, especially knowing my situation. For this very unprofessional behavior, I will NEVER take my car there nor will I ever refer them to anyone. I will also be contacting the shop that referred me to them Shame on you action auto You wasted my time and gas. Came in for an oil change and a tire swap this morning at 9am. Explained to "Will" how much of a time crunch I was on. We agreed on an oil change and a tire swap, he said he would also check what else needed to be serviced. I wasn't able to come back for my car until almost 12 in the afternoon ! For an oil change and tire swap?? I was called and told my DRL lights were being removed for whatever reason. I called back and spoke to "Armando" and asked if my lights can be left on. He said he will let the technician know. I come back to my car having the DRL taken out and "Will" having no idea about the call to "Armando".. Upon arrival my car was on the lot ready. I hadn't received any call to let me know it was ready. However the team knew I was on a time crunch. It was easy to see how much they didn't care. Selective to who they show preference to.
