We stopped into Action Gator Tire on Highway 50 to get an alignment. It was a Saturday and they were crazy busy but they still added our car to the list. Although the waiting area is relatively clean and comfortable we decided to do a drop off. They close up shop at four and told us that it would be completed before closing. We received a call a couple of hours before closing and told that the job wAs completed. Pick up went smooth and the job was done right. I've been going here for years and always get really friendly service and my car is always ready when they say it's going to be. They have fair prices and don't try to hit you with a bunch of cross-sell add on's like you might get at a drive in gas station bay type service station. They are also open late during the week so you can stop in and drop or pick up your car after work without feeling rushed to get there before they close. Open both weekend days as well. My tire was losing air and knew I needed to have it fixed quickly. I stopped at Tires Plus in Ocoee on Thursday at about noon and the woman at the service desk was pretty quick to tell me that the soonest they could help me was at 7pm that evening before they closed or take an appointment for Monday, which was not an option. I drove to Gator Action Tire just down the road and they were just as busy as Tires Plus. The gentleman at the service desk told me it would be about a 2 hour wait...I said ok. My time in was clocked at 12:25. I sat in the clean waiting room and at 1:12 was told my tire was fixed. NOT EVEN AN HOUR~!!!!! Great customer service guys!!! I called and spoke with Sherwin for availability for a tire rotation, was briefly put on hold and then told we can squeeze you in this afternoon. I was greeted promptly upon arrival. During the inspection, I mentioned I had a slow leak on one tire. They told me it would be done in an hour. An hour later (on the nose) it was done. Matt completed the rotation and found a pesky nail in my tire and patched it. These guys were wonderful. This location killed my battery and are refusing to take responsibility. I am leaving this review out of principal and not because of money, to alert people just to be careful. It all started when I took my car to action gator for what I thought was a simple brake issue. It turned out to be much more complicated and was quoted somewhere around $2500. My car insurance got involved and lo and behold, the true cost of repairs was $1000. This should have been my first indicator that these guys are not trust worthy. The car stayed with them for over 3 weeks. When we came to pick it up, it wouldn't start. We thought "oh it's been sitting here for so long maybe the battery died." We had them jump it and it started but it was so dead that the next time we started it it wouldn't come on. It hasn't worked since. This was surprising because when we brought it in it was working just fine. Actually it was sitting in the garage for 3 months and was just fine. Something happened in their care that caused the battery to die and be so beyond dead. I was going to pay for a new battery, but my brother who is a mechanic said that they obviously left a light on or something because if it worked fine when I took it in then obviously something happened in their care. I called and spoke to Noel, he refused responsibility and blamed the dead battery on the age of the car. What Noel dosent know is that this battery was changed in 2015 and had absolutely no issues. It sat in the garage for months, started without a problem, Also, if there was a issue with the battery, wouldn't they have caught this when we first brought it in. How would they have even worked on it if the battery was so dead as they are claiming. Also they found thousands of dollars worth of problems, wouldn't they have caught a simple battery issue, since according to them this was a issue from before. Don't you think they would point this out? I was never expecting a free battery, I was hoping they would take responsibility and maybe give 10% discount towards a new one. He flat out said "you aren't getting a new battery". I never even asked for one. When I pointed this out he said he would give it at cost to me. I said, no thank you I would rather pay more out of pocket just out of principal. Very disappointed with this experience. I switched over for good to Action Gator for all my Car needs but not after this experience. read more

A few years ago I came here to get new tires for my SUV. The price was right and I was OK with leaving my vehicle there for this. I purchased tires that came with a 60k warranty. I've had my tires appropriately filled, rotated, and balanced and all seemed ok. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago... I am driving on the FL Turnpike at 70+ mph and I had a sidewall blowout from one of my tires. Luckily, I was able to (kind of) maintain control of my car and pull over. I had only put 40k miles on these tires, so I was shocked that this happened - not a flat, but a complete blowout. I needed to have my car towed since I lost the lugnut key. I had it towed to Toyota since that's the make of my vehicle and they're fairly close. After inspecting the tires, turns out all 4 are completely dry-rotted, and that's why one of them blew out. They suggested that I contact the place I got my tires from since I didn't have the receipt on me. They said it seems that the tires were defective. They also said if I had trouble or needed assistance, come back and they would help. I called Action Gator and spoke to the owner - let him know what was going on. He asked me to bring in my vehicle the following day so they could help. He said if the tires are defective, they could assist me in opening a claim with UniRoyal. I brought my vehicle in with the blown tire as evidence in the trunk. A man named George helped me. Well, didn't help me, but he was the one that I dealt with. I told him the whole story, showed him my receipt, and he went out to look at my tires. He came back in a few minutes later saying the tires weren't dry rotted, that it was usual wear. I asked how it was possible that I could have a sidewall blow out from usual wear, and he suggested it was the way I was driving! He said I must have had low tire pressure, which is pretty absurd since I just had my tire pressure checked and filled when I had my oil changed 2 weeks prior. I asked how he could be telling me something completely different than Toyota - and he said, Toyota just doesn't want to deal with tires. I finally asked if he could assist me with opening a claim with UniRoyal, as the owner had suggested we do, and he said no. He was talking to me and treating me like a 'stupid woman', with zero respect and not a friendly customer service bone in his body. I ended up grabbing the receipt from the other side of the counter and storming out. Had George at least TRIED to help me, this review would be much different. 2 days ago I went to Toyota again, THEY helped me file a claim with UniRoyal. THEY got me a credit on my defective tires. THEY got my business with 4 new, safer tires. And THEY will continue to have my tire business going forward. To the owner: I highly suggest you talk to George and perhaps suggest an attitude adjustment for him. He is the rudest person I have ever dealt with, ignored my knowledge of vehicles with his cocky attitude, and made assumptions that were downright incorrect. You have lost my business now and forever all due to one ignorant employee. read more

I have had problems with my Chevy equinox but action gator has always helped greatly everyone in there is super nice they greet there customers upon arrival when busy and they always try there best to take care of your issues pricing wise they are pricey when it comes to labor but to be fair what do you expect when they work on winter garden police cause . The police force doesn't just let anyone work on there cars making them reliable Iv had issues after getting things fixed and they have no problem with making an appointment the same day you call to check and see why your having the same issues or why the check engine light keeps coming back on. I have never had any bad experiences or rude encounters I have had th accidental break a sensor while fixing my car but they were great at responding to it they took responsibility called told be about the mishap and also reassured me that it's being fixed at no extra cost to me. I asked him how long the job would take and he said about 15 minutes. I asked him the price and he said it would be $25. In April 2010 after shopping around I found them to have the best price (and a coupon!) for the tires I wanted. Installed without trouble with what I thought was a quick turnaround. Fast forward to August 2011, had to come back about the tires because the place i got my oil changed at informed me that 2 of the 4 tires were already bald. Once I got there they went over the warranty with me and then checked out my car. They were prompt and thorough in their explanation that I didn't need new tires, in fact all 4 were worn evenly. I appreciated that they didn't just go with what I presented as the original issue and try to sell me something I didn't need. I only needed a 4 wheel alignment which they discounted for me and assured me that I could return up to a year for an alignment adjustment, as that was included. Hopefully I won't have to do that, as they are not close to my house. But it's nice to know someone is telling it to me straight! read more

Absolutely awful top to bottom. Multiple calls back because "now you need this fixed" racking the bill up to almost 3 times what we were quoted originally. Called us saying the car was ready, we load three small children into the car to go pick up the other car, get there... car is not ready. No one apologizes or cares that they are so disorganized that they can't even communicate with customers something so simple. Finally get the car back the next day, the indicator light for the problem we went in to fix originally IS STILL ON! They act surprised and say "oh it must be the battery - we usually charge $120 for that but we'll do it for $50". Are you serious? Then they go with "well the light usually goes off after you drive it a bit" and they all start asking each other, shrugging their shoulders - no one had even tested out driving the car after all the work they insisted we needed. Just horrible service, not great pricing, intolerable experience. So many options in the area - DO NOT choose this one! read more

Took car to Reunion Car Care in Davenport they replaced R&R AC Valve for $85.00 (parts and labor) -BAAAAM. AC is working.
