My tire was fixed. But customer service, no. When I first walked in there were two gentlemen at the counter, one was with a customer one was on the phone. A simple "Be right with you" would have sufficed. Instead I was ignored. When I finally got help, there was no regard at all. Upon picking up my car, I called to advise them I would be arriving right at 8pm to simply swipe my card and get my keys, the guy on the phone made sure to sigh and tell me they were closing in 3 minutes (7:58pm) with an aggravated tone. I arrived and checking out took just that, 2 seconds. I quickly left and went about my way. I called this morning and was greeted by a super friendly, upbeat person on the other line. I asked if they had any openings for an oil change and tire rotation and he was MORE than accommodating. They did an amazing job and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need. I HIGHLY recommend this place as the people there are honest, friendly, and do a GREAT job!!! Tires are horrible, I've had to replace 3 of the 4 in a year, some of the guys are nice, the old manager(sorry can't remember his name) is awesome. I spoke to him about my problems with some of the reps treating me like I'm dumb just cause I'm young not realizing I am a ASE certified Mechanic The wait times are ridiculous, just for a rotation which is included in my warranty it was over 3 hours. If your in a hurry go somewhere else because even if you have an appointment go somewhere else, I had to wait 2 hours on an appointment to rotate my tires. read more

Wait times are terrible, even when you have an appointment i had to wait 2 hours for an alignment, they forget to do things that you ask to be done. you buy tires with life-time rotation but you have to wait 5 hours for a simple rotation. other than the bad wait times, the staff was nice and helpful. read more

They were so busy when I got there this morning, yet they still took the time to find out what my needs were. Went in for brakes. A few days after I hear a thumping noise. Go in on Saturday to see why. They have the car all day,then call me to say it is fixed come get it. Driving home it's worse then before. Bring it back again Sunday morning. When I call them a half hour before closing time Tony tells me they are going to stay until my van is fixed, he will call me when it is ready. I never got another call. I go down there the place is all closed up. Tony never called to tell me my car would be there over night!! My appointment for a oil change was at 8 am and I didn't get my vehicle release to me until 10:30

They were fine. I actually had high hopes for this shop as they seemed completely transparent. Total cost for two items I needed done to my truck was $1000. They said it was about even for each item that needed to be done, $500 each. I asked for only one item to be competed because I wasn't ready to pay a cool $1000 bucks for something that could wait. Go to pick up my truck and the cost for one item has jumped to about $750. The fellow I talked to didn't have a great explanation, suggested I call tomorrow to speak to the manager, and claimed that if I brought it back the second item would cost $250 (basically guaranteeing that if I wanted item #2 done I would come back to their shop). After I asked them to fix item#1 they fixed 1.5 things without asking me. I felt cornered and duped. Wish I could say I won't be back but they gave me for at least $250. Kudos to them for finding the problems with my truck (which two other mechanics could not) but I don't appreciate additional unknown cost increases. read more

I was blown away by the great service at Action Gator in Ocoee. I had requested an alignment on my Denali since it was pulling to the right. There was also a strange "clunk" when starting and stopping. Scott called me personally to tell me what the clunk issue was, identifying it as oil-worn bushings on the front differential. I was surprised to see that there was no charge for the alignment, since they had checked it and found it to be fine. They found that the car was pulling because of the tires. Swapping the tires from side to side solved it completely. Again, no charge. Courtesy, great service, constant communication, quick and accurate diagnosis and extremely fair pricing - my family and I will be Action Gator fans for life. I would have given six stars if that were an option! read more

My Hyundai Sonata was brought into the shop for a possible bad battery and/or alternator The mechanic reported that the starter was the issue because it had seized and the battery was bad. I explained that it did not make sense. Mechanic said the battery was bad and that the starter was a part of the electrical system. The cost for the alternator was twice of any average priced one purchased at a nearby store. After replacing the alternator, it turned out the engine had seized which was covered by the manufacturer warranty. I believe since it is a known issue they should have done a better diagnosis. Also, they charged $180 just for the installation of the alternator not including it's price. It appears they were just trying to get money and not truely fix the car. read more

We've been going to Action Gator since we moved down here 5 years ago. They always do a great job (and I've never said that about a mechanic shop). They may have slightly higher prices but you get what you pay for. We have never had to come back for them to redo something. They find and fix the right problems, the first time, which is worth the price. read more

So I bought 4 tires from them, even though I only needed 2, and resisted their high pressure sales for $1000 more of services. A month later I go back with a flat. They take 2 hours to fix it and then tell me I own them $23, so I ask why because I am certain I bought the road hazard. I didn't have my receipt and he says I didn't so I must pay. So I ask what was wrong with it? He bites my head of and says I am sure the found something. Well I looked at the tire before and after I went to Gator Tire and there was no nail or anything else in the tire so I asked if they changed the valve stem. The A## told me no but clearly they did. I'm not giving them a 1 because they are liars and thieves. I am because they couldn't even put my spare and my jack back and the NEW valve stem didn't have a dust cover. And just because they didn't put new valve stems on when I got new tires I had to change a tire on the 408 in the rain and then come listen to their crap. Every time I go there I leave pissed off. I went in there for an oil change because it was close to my house and I had a coupon. I went in first thing int he morning and told the guy that I would like it done as soon as possible because I was going out of town that day as soon as they were done with my car. I also asked them to call me when they were finished with it, since I was dropping it off. They quoted me an hour and after I didn't receive a call after 2 hrs, I called them and they told me it had been sitting there ready (they just never called me like they said they would). Then I go in there and they haven't even deducted my coupon. So I had to wait longer for them to correct it. On top of all of these errors, the guy had NO customer service skills. So I asked about getting it replaced - and the guy looked surprised by that. They found one and then asked if I wanted to wait for it.
